Ventilation calculations in synchronous machine
Judas, Jan ; Deeb, Ramia (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
The aim of the project was to get familiar with the environment of ANSYS CFX, create several models of fans and synchronous machine model in Autodesk inventor, create model of cooling medium flow through the machine with these fans and evaluation of results. Firstly the thesis describes the synchronous machine itself, losses of the machine, the flow of power of synchronous machine and methods of its cooling. Next the thesis describes each kind of heat transfer, laminar and turbulent flow. The thesis also refers of kind of the fans and the program used to calculate the flow Ansys CFX, including the method that Ansys used to calculate. The work describes the individual modification of fans and setting of calculation in ANSYS. Then displays the results of the analysis these fans for different numbers of fan blades and for modification of the fan. Then the thesis analyzes selected modifications due to changing speed. In the last chapter shows the analysis of flow in the machine with three different fans. In particular, there is shown the mass flow rate, pressure and its distribution on areas for evaluation.
Material selection and heat treatment of blade knives
Mrňa, Tomáš ; Molliková, Eva (referee) ; Němec, Karel (advisor)
A good quality knife should have good cutting features and the edge should be resistant against blunting which can be achieved by using different materials. Steel is the most commonly used material for manufacturing of blades. There are 4 basic categories of steel used for blades manufacturing: unalloyed noble (class 12), low-alloyed (class 13-15), stainless (class 17) and special tool steel (class 19). The optimal combination of structure and features of the used material is achieved by tempering process. The goal of my work is to focus on the steel blade and to point out differences between materials used in mass production and steel used by cutlers. Including the possibility of using various unusual materials from already manufactured products. I am also trying to describe each kind of quenching and consequences of wrong processing.
Aerodynamic noise of computers
Zouhar, Lukáš ; Dušek, Daniel (referee) ; Pellant, Karel (advisor)
This submitted thesis pursues a theme of decreasing the computer noise, especially focusing on the aerodynamic noise of the cooling fans, possibilities of decreasing the noise by fan optimization, using rubber bolsters and sound-isolating layers or construction changes in the very fans and their placing. We shall also aim on the relation between the created noise and the blade shape or rotation speed.
Forming Technology of Thin Sheets
Musil, Zbyněk ; Žák, Ladislav (referee) ; Dvořák, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with technology of mechanical working of the sheetmetals by cutting for rotary and non-rotary single parts. The first part deal with common dissertation about surface mechanical working, mainly about cutting and meaning of cutting gap in accordance with final cutting. The second part deals with transfer of the new pieces of knowledge from foreign technical literature of surface mechanical working. In the last part there is done an aplication on the particular component.
Wind power station tower - calculation
Stein, Pavel ; Vrbka, Martin (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
The target of this labour is to give summary of contemporary level of construction of wind power station tower. The first part describes importance and progress of alternative sources of energy, especially wind energetic in Czech republic. Next point concerns some construct options of wind power station tower and its basic elements. Close of the work is oriented to modern forms in problems of the wind power station tower and indicates options of modern development.
Testing of tip-timing method with multipoint optical system for laboratory measurement of bladed wheel vibration
Pešek, Luděk ; Půst, Ladislav ; Bula, Vítězslav ; Cibulka, Jan
The multipoint optical system for the accurate laboratory measurement of blade vibration under rotation was proposed in IT AS CR. This method is based on the fast optical-elements that register time passages of the blades. The description of the method, results of numerical simulations and first experimental results of the model bladed wheel vibration under rotation are herein presented.
Laboratory optical measurement of model blade vibration under rotation
Pešek, Luděk ; Vaněk, František ; Bula, Vítězslav ; Cibulka, Jan ; Tryzna, B.
The optical method for the accurate laboratory measurement of blade vibration under rotation was proposed in IT AS CR. This method is based on the fast optical-elements that register time passages of the blades. The description of the method and first experimental results of the model blade vibration under rotation will be discussed.
Dynamics of three twisted blades with inter-slip couplings
Pešek, Luděk
Three-dimensional FE modelling and dynamic analysis of three-twisted-blade bunch connected mutually in blade heads by the dynamic contact with friction. The bunch was numerically tested under two dynamic regimes, such as resonance run-up excitation and vibration decay after short resonance run-up. In the contribution the influence of the blade responses, contact states, damping ratios on excitation level and excitation regimes is discussed.
Excitation of blade vibration under rotation by synchronous elektromagnet
Vaněk, František ; Pešek, Luděk ; Bula, Vítězslav ; Cibulka, Jan
The procedure for design of blade vibration excitation by synchronous electromagnets is presented. Its verification was performed on the test wheel by two-point electromagnetic excitation of blades under rotation.
An improvement of the vibrodiagnostic system for research of rotating machine parts vibration
Procházka, Pavel ; Vaněk, František ; Pešek, Luděk ; Cibulka, Jan ; Vaněk, Petr
Methods of frequency analysis of rotating turbine blade vibration from tip-timing measurements are discussed. Procedures for increasing in accuracy of amplitude and frequency evaluations of blade vibration are suggested. Optimization of sensor positioning of a multi-channel vibrodiagnostic system has been solved by means of numerical and experimental modeling. A novel method for axial rotor displacements measurement is presented.
