Bridge on a highway

Subject of this bachelor’s thesis is design of new slab bridge construction over the II/464 road between the villages Příbor and Bílovec. The bridge converts highway D47. Thesis includes three studies. Pre-stressed rectangular cross-section slab with elliptical exterior trim, pre-stressed plate- grinder construction and construction of prefabricated beams and monolithic slab. For next assessment was chosen option no.1. Load effects calculation is solved in SCIA engineer 16.1. Design and assessment of the structure are made according to valid standards and regulations.
Prestressed bridge over the Budišovka river

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the design of a prestressed bridge over the river Budišovka. Three preliminary studies have been proposed and one of them was selected for more detailed processing. Span length of construction is 18,0 m. Selected variant was assessed for ultimate and serviceability limit state according to CSN EN 1992-2.
Road bridge over the Budišovka river

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design of bridge construction over the river of Budišovka located near the village of Budišov nad Budišovkou. The load bearing system is composed from one reinforced concretespan. The structural design was made in two variants, which were compared between them. For calculations of first way was used the software of Scia Engineering 16.1 and second way was calculated by simplified manual method of effective width. All calculations were performed according to actual standard EN.
Reinfoced concrete bridge over the Budišovka river

The aim of the bachelor thesis is the design of a single-span reinforced concrete slab bridge. Two variants of cross-section of the bridge were considered – rectangular and trapezoid. The rectangular one was chosen for further design. The wall-slab model was created using calculation software Scia Engineer 16.1. The structure is supported by pot bearings.
Slab bridge in Budišov nad Budišovkou

Subject of this bachelor´s thesis is design of new slab bridge construction in Budišov nad Budišovkou according to EN 1992-1-1. The bridge carries traffic across river Budišovka. It is full trapezoidal at cross-section area. Statically the construction is designed as point-supported slab with span lenght 12,0m. Cathegory of communication is S7,5. Internal forces are calculated by SCIA Engineer 15.3. Load of effects calculation and assesment of ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state is done according to valid standarts. Comparison of design with reinforcement in pressure zone.
The bridge over a local brook and relocation of a road

The aim of this thesis is safe and economical design of a single span bridge over a local brook and relocated cart track in compliance with all valid regulations and standards. Three variants of possible solution were designed from which the one with prestressed concrete trapezoidal slab is preffered. The thesis is mainly focused on the static analysis of the structure and its design documentation.
Bridge over the Branná river

Bachelor’s thesis deals with a design of a new bridge construction over Branná river nearby Jindřichov. Bridge is located on road II/369 at kilometer 21,113. Bridge evidence number is 369-020. Thesis includes three studies. First study is post-tensioned slab constructions. Second study is construction made of prefabricated beams T93. Third study is designed with two post-tensioned girders. For next assessment was chosen post-tensioned slab construction 18,14 meters long. Load effect calculation is solved in Scia Engineer 15.3. Software calculation is compared with manual calculation.
Slab bridge with FRP reinforcement

The Bachelor's thesis deals with a design of a new slab bridge over the Svitava river. As a reinforcement for load-carrying construction with the lenght of 12,89 m and a full rectangle cross secion FRP bars were used and compared with nonprestressed steel. The calculation of load effects is solved by Scia Engineer 14 and results are checked manualy. The load-carrying construction is assessed for the ultimate limit state and the serviceability limit state according to ČSN EN 1992-1-1, ČSN EN 1992-2 and technical report fib TG 9.3.
Reconstruction of the bridge 44-016

The purpose of this thesis is the project of the bridge reconstruction nb. 44 - 06 in Zabreh. It is performed the project of the new bridge which should replace current construction. The current construction is not suitable from technical aspects. The project is solved as a prestressed trapezodial slab with 20 m span. The design was judged by the ultimate limit states and usability.

This paper proposes main load-bearing structure for simple span concrete bridge across Budišovka river. Length of the construction is 18.8m. Three studies have been proposed and one of those was chosen for further processing. Selected study, prestressed concrete slab, was evaluated for ultimate and serviceability limit state according to recent European standards. Paper also includes visualizations and drawings.
