Hybrid databases
Hušek, Radek ; Mareš, Martin (advisor) ; Lokoč, Jakub (referee)
This thesis presents design and implementation of a data structure, which tries to combine advantages of both databases and regular data structures. Main advantages of databases we try to retain are data persistence through storing data on a hard disk and working with data using transactions which allows us parallel access without danger of inconsistency. From data structures we borrow the implementation as a library of functions and the aim on simplicity and storing data in memory. Our implementation is built around the concept of (software) transactional memory; all data are stored on hard drive as log of operations. 1

Two writers and one town (Alois Vojtěch Šmilovský, Alois Jirásek a Litomyšl)
Tomášková, Lenka ; Stejskalová, Anna (advisor) ; Hrabáková, Jaroslava (referee)
Résumé In my diploma work, I tried to compare there the relation of Alois Jirásek and Alois Vojtěch Šmilovský to the city Litomyšl in which both lived, taught and wrote their books and to show the reflection of the small-town atmosphere of Litomyšl in their works. I worked with all sorts of historical documents, sources of information and literature which told aboud this town or these two authors. During the study 1 visited the Regional Museum in Litomyšl where I could see the extant personal corespondence of Jirásek and Šmilovský from which we could best read what their realation to the city and the citizens was. I could also read other historical documents in the District Archive in Litomyšl. But I found much of literature in the City Library in Litomyšl too. I also worked with books of Alois Jirásek and Alois Vojtěch Šmilovský, mostly with these which were written in Litomyšl or in which these authors wrote about the small-town atmosphere of Litomyšl. At the close of my diploma work I proposed a project in which the information gained during the writing my work could be used. I realized this project with pupils of the eight class of the primary school Proseč, district Chrudim. Alois Jirásek got familiarized with Litomyšl better than Šmilovský, he came to love this town so he described better the...

Access to databases in the PHP framework Zend and Nette
Moravec, Petr ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Burkoň, Lukáš (referee)
The main asset of the essay is a very detailed documentation of PHP frameworks and more detailed view on database layer. The essay pays attention to a database layer in Zend and Nette Frameworks. Both Frameworks are described separately. The essay also analyses Data Source Architectural Patterns of Martin Fowler. These patterns are explained in details and shown in practical examples in each separate Frameworks. They are mainly patterns of Table Data Gateway, Row Data Gateway , Active Record and Data Mapper. The last part of the essay is focused on an access to a Database in selected Frameworks, describes the main libraries and demostrates practical examples. Finally there are presented empirical tests which can help to analyse advantages and disadvantages of each Database layer.

Sudoku - formulation of the problem and it 's solution
Novák, Jakub ; Jablonský, Josef (advisor) ; Zouhar, Jan (referee)
The purpose of this Bachelor thesis was to formulate sudoku problem and to create an application which was able to solve a real sudoku puzzles. First two chapters consist common information. First is about sudoku and second about linear programming. Third chaper is about formulation of the problem and it's mathematical model. In last chapter is written about creating of application which is separated into three parts. In first part there is enviroment of MS Excel which is going to be prepeared for inserting data and displaying of results. In second part is described created linear model in optimalization software MPL for Windows. The last part of creating of application contains object library OptiMax, which allows starting optimalization from MS Excel.

Special Preparation of Workers with Children and Youth in The Free Time
KOVAŘÍKOVÁ, Jana
This dissertation handles the theme of free time of children, youth and of a specific group such as children and youth with a handicap. Another theme are the possibilities and modes of free time utilisation for children and youth which can be divided into three groups. The first one contains school facilities for hobby education, the second group comprises of non-profit oraganizations. The third group consists of specific free time facilities for children and youth, such as libraries, museums and low-threshold centres. That is why the following part of the dissertation is dedicated to the issue of who can work with children and youth in their free time. These are primarily qualified pedagogical staff, volunteers and external staff ? lectors. The greatest part of the work handles the Expert preparation of workers with children and youth during their free time. A stress is put on the need of life-long education of the staaf as the free-time area is continuously changing and evolving, thus an increased ability of the individual to react flexibly vis-?-vis the changing conditions is needed. There are several ways how to obtain the necessary qualification. These are mutually inerconnected and intermingled. An expert qualification can be obtained via successful formal education. Another way lies in undergoing informal education which is determined by the Conception of further education of pedagogical staff from 2002, created by the Ministry of Youth and Education. This establishes a system for hobby education into primary and further education for staff working with children and youth in the area of free time and for staff working with children in the area of free time mostly NNO (non-goervnmental and non-profit orghanizations staff). Each organization has created its own educational structure which suits their needs. That is why their take place in two clasped flows as according to the Conception of education for pedagogical staaf it is compulsory to some courses for leading staff within the framework od the organization be accredited. In the theoretic part there is also mentioned the large project Keys for Life. In the practical part I focused on the research of the actual the ways in which the education of staf working with children and youth in their free time takes place and which possibilities exist. I chose the form of quantitative research, particularly of structered interviews that I lead with staff in various facilities acting in the field of free time of children and youth. The research implies that there are many possibilities how to get a necessary qualification for work with children and youth in their free time. The first possibility to obtain the desired qualification is formal education, particularly by means of completing a secondary school, a higher expert (secondary) school or a university with focus on pedagogy. This education is valid in all facilities dedicated to work with children and youth in their free time. The second possiblity is the so called informal education, in this particular case meaning a wide variety of courses, lectures and trainings. Some of these courses are accredited by the MYE, which insures for them, similarly as in the case of completing the formal education, a validity in throughout all facilities. The contents, aims and guidelines of these courses are based on the Conception of further education for pedagogical staff. The reasearch also confirmed that every organization has created a system of own education, except for courses accredited by the MEY, which suits their internal needs and philosphy. A major fact, however, is the nonexistence of courses focused on expert preparation for work with handicapped children. The dissertation can serve as a practical guide for those who consider working with children and youth in the free time or want to get further education in this field. It can also serve for studying purposes.

Post-quantum alternative to secure sockets
Behún, Marek ; Kratochvíl, Miroslav (advisor) ; Kofroň, Jan (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to implement a software library that provides a wrapping of real-time socket- like communication into an cryptographic protocol with purpose similar to SSL or TLS, that is secure against an adversary in possession of a quantum computer. Resulting software utilizes the Supersingular Isogeny Diffie Hellman (SIDH) key-exchange algorithm for achieving this level of security, and is simple, portable and independent on system-specific primitives. The thesis gives a concise introduction to the theory on which SIDH is built, targeting the audience of undergraduate students of Computer Science. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Rendering Using Deep Shadowmaps
Hypský, Jan ; Kobrtek, Jozef (referee) ; Polok, Lukáš (advisor)
In computer graphics is problematic shadow rendering. Applications require to choose the appropriate lighting and shading method with respect to speed and display quality. This work is focused on rendering the shadows and eliminate alias, arising during their creation. For to create shadows will work to implement the methods Shadow Maps and she's extensions variant Deep Shadow Maps. Shadow maps allow to create shadow independently of the scene complexity without treatment alias. Deep shadow maps are able to display shadows along with the removal of alias thereby improve the quality of shading.  For lighting scene are used local Lambert lighting models. The resulting application is created with using library OpenGL.
