Software for Processing Data from Visual Observations of Meteors
Barča, Adam ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Drga, Jozef (advisor)
Goal of the thesis was to design and implement an application for processing data, gathered during visual observation of meteors. Result is the IMO application, meant for the Android platform and distributed via Google Play service. IMO is built on Spring Boot and Ionic frameworks, PostgreSQL is used as data storage.
Print Report Creation on the Java Platform
Majzlík, Jakub ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The goal of this Bachelor's thesis is design and implementation of solution of creating print reports on Java EE platform with use of template written in HTML and CSS. There is a description of the design and implementation of the proposed solution. The output of this thesis is Java library and web application, where functionality of the proposed solution will be demonstrated.
Risk Management Support Tool
Škutová, Sára ; Trchalík, Roman (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This master thesis deals with risk management in projects. The goal was to study the knowledge areas of project management, especially planning, identification and qualitative analysis of risk management. Based on the information from the required area, a tool was designed to help visualize the risks on the project while supporting their identification and analysis. The designed tool was programmed with the combination of Java Spring Boot server and React client. At the end of this thesis you can find result of the testing and possible future expansion of the application.
Navigation in Public Transport
Turic, Matúš ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the issue of traveling in public transport. In the first part the author informs about similar applications and theories necessary for understanding the problems. In the second part, the author describes the design and behavior of the mobile and server application, including the used technologies. Created mobile application has the task of navigating the user from one point to another in the shortest possible time, while it should be possible to replace the current route with faster one.
Application for Demonstration of Synchronization Mechanisms in Distributed Systems
Klimčíková, Lenka ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design and create a web application for the demonstration of selected synchronization mechanisms in distributed systems. The algorithms communicate by means of message-passing to ensure mutual exclusion of the processes in an effort to access the critical section. Implemented are Lamport's algorithm, Maekawa's algorithm, Raymond's algorithm and Suzuki-Kasami broadcasting algorithm. The application is implemented in Java programming language with the use of Spring Boot framework for listening on different endpoints. Thymeleaf template engine is used to exchange the necessary data between backend and frontend of the application. HTML + JavaScript language are used for dynamic rendering of sent messages to the screen. The algorithms are implemented in separate libraries, which are then used by the web application. The application illustratively demonstrates function of each algorithm with loads of different examples for the best possible understanding. It's primarily intended for students of Faculty of Information Technology, Brno University of Technology
Modern Web Application Architectures
Malík, Pavol ; Polčák, Libor (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This thesis informs reader about main ways of client-server application design and technologies for building an Application Programming Interface (API). It compares mainly modern approaches - REST and GraphQL, which became recently popular. The final product of thesis is a web application for self-improvement of employees in software company. Application provides features like self-improvement activities management or planning of meetings. Employees management, user registration and log in are obvious. Application uses GraphQL technology as an application interface, Java programming language together with Spring Boot for server implementation and Angular for client implementation. Spring Security framework is used for authentication and authorization, MySQL was chosen for database part.
Design of computer exercises for security of information systems
Nakládalová, Kateřina ; Tomašov, Adrián (referee) ; Myška, Vojtěch (advisor)
Nowadays, many services are provided in an online environment through web applications. A large amount of data and sensitive information is thus transmitted through cyberspace, which can be stolen by attackers if the systems that handle it are not sufficiently secure. Education in Information Security is therefore crucial. To this end, a web application in the Java programming language was therefore created to demonstrate attacks aimed at it. The application is constructed using Spring framework and connected to PostgreSQL database. The most common attacks on web applications are demonstrated and described in this thesis which are Brute force attack, SQL injection attack, Cross-site scripting attack and Cross-site request forgery, access control vulnerabilities, sensitive data exposure, data inconsistency in web application and interference with web application parameter manipulation. Specific ways of implementing protection against these attacks are given to ensure their safe use. This work can be used as a useful source of information for web application developers and users who want to gain knowledge about the issues of cyber attacks and thereby reduce the risk of their occurrence.
Návrh a realizace webové aplikace pro podporu online vzdělávání na základní škole
Linek, Kryštof
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is the design and implementation of a web application to support the education of children in primary school. The work includes an analysis of available technologies and possibilities in the field of online education. This is followed by an analysis of the problem to be solved in connection with the choice of technologies. The practical part presents the procedure of implementing the application based on the findings of the analytical part and the method of testing and deployment. The result is a web application designed for the aforementioned purpose. The conclusion of the bachelor thesis contains a critical evaluation of the web application and further suggestions for its extension.
Zabezpečená webová aplikace
MARÝŠKA, Patrik
This bachelor thesis deals with the process of creating a secure web application with appropriate security mechanisms for managing intracompany documentation within a given company. The Spring Boot framework is used at the backend, and jQuery framework is used at the frontend. The paper goes on to evaluate the security level of the application using penetration testing.
Využití služeb Národní Identitní Autority v rámci přijímacích řízení vysokých škol
BERAN, Luboš
This master's thesis deals with the development of a system that will be able to use the services of the Narodni identitni autorita in the framework of the admission procedure at universities. It can be also used in other public institutions. The theoretical part explains terms related to Narodni identitni autorita and its functioning within the EU. The thesis also deals with whether universities are entitled to use the services of the Narodni identitni autorita. The architectural part presents the planned architecture and selected software. The implementation part deals with the installation and the configuration of software so that the thesis can be used as a guide for building a functional unit for the use of the services of the National Identity Authority.
