Porting of Prawn Library from Ruby to Python 3

This work focuses on automatic translation of code written in Ruby programming language into Python 3. First part investigates principles of computer programming languages translation as is described in the literature. Second part compares elements of these two programming languages and suggests ways how these elements can be translated. Based on this theory I developed Ruby-to-Python translator. Its working is demonstrated on the translation of the Prawn library for generating PDF files.
Automatic System for Downloading of Scientific Papers

Goal of this work is the creation of application designed for automatic downloading of scientific papers by using online databases of scientific publications. This work is studying the structure and means of retrieving information about scientific documents. It also describes the final application and rates it based on results of testing.
An Application for Creative Writing

This Bachelor's thesis deals with the design and the implementation of the application, supposed to support comfortable writing of prose and offer helpful features like a management of chapters, characters and notes. It is able to automatically detect titles of chapters and names of characters in text. Application also offers other functions assisting the writer, including a name generator and an ability to set goals. The application includes multilingual multiplatform modern and personalizable GUI, which focuses on aesthetic, practicality and lucidity. Results of a usage of the application are exported into output file of various types.
Informační systém pro insolvenční řízení

The master´s thesis pays attention to the information system dealing with the procession of insolvency proposals. This requirement originated in the terms and conditions of the prepared amendment to the act on insolvency. The first part analyses the existing system of procession. The demands for the information system are formulated based on the foundout facts. The second part describes the proposed solution by means of charts depicting examples of use, and a process and checking chart processed in the Enterprise Architect programme. The third part includes a description of the information system implementation. The information system has been programmed by means of the PHP scripting language using the Nette framework and the MySQL database. The FPDF and FPDL libraries were used to generate the insolvency proposal in PDF. This system respects the valid legislation, facilitating the work and saving the costs related to the procession of insolvency proposals.
Design 3D Catalog for Company

The subject of the thesis is the area of on-line 3D catalogues. In the first part, the basics of computer graphics and 3D modelling are summarized. The following part of the text focuses on the product catalogue of a certain company - S&K KONTAKT - and performs its analysis. Based on the analysis, several options are proposed how to transform the current company's presentation into an interactive 3D catalogue with the goal of distinguishing oneself from the competition and addressing new customers.
Travel agency information system

This bachelor thesis deals with creating an information system with a web interface for travel agency in Jihlava. The work begins with analyzing requirements. Next, it explores the concept of user interface and datamodel represented by an ER diagram. Finally, the thesis will discuss the implementation and testing of the system.
Conversion of Science Articles to Plain Text

Purpose of this bachelor's work is a research in the area of converting scientific articles in electronic form to plain text. Main topic is the group of problematic articles with certain possible components causing non-acceptable output. Many conversion tools were investigated and the one with the required and most accurate conversion was chosen. Second part of this thesis examines the problematic of automated conversion, including creation of conversion request, forward of all articles to conversion, the conversion itself, detection of finished conversions and delivery of all converted articles. To achieve this objective, a communication principle based on client/server in conjuction with Python scripts and available needed libraries were created. From the client's point of view, it is required only to create a list of articles for conversion and then call the appropriate function (create a request). Rest of the process is taken care of automatically and the resulting text files are available for the client in a folder set beforehand.
Information System for Cultural and Sport Events

This thesis deals with problem of information system for cultural and sports events. The aim is to set up CMS (content management system), that allows web pages content managing without necessity of HTML language knowledge. Application allows presentation of articles, places and actions within. This thesis also deals with system personalization for users, exchange of data with different information systems via XML channels and it also offers module for export of selected action to PDF.  
Automatic System for Scientific Papers Downloading

The focus of this work is to create a computer program for automatic downloading of scientific papers from the internet. Studying the functionality of Google Scholar. Describes the internal format of PDF file and possible ways to extract text from it. Presents the final application and tests success rate of obtaining scientific articles.
