Diagnostics of Interactive Network Communication
Adamčík, Lukáš ; Martínek, Tomáš (referee) ; Žádník, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of blackouts and losses in the interactive network communication. In the introduction the basic theory of network communication is explained. Important part of the thesis presents communication analysis of applications Remote Area, SJphone and internet game Billiards. The main objective is to create a tool for detection of the blackouts during the communication of these applications. The results of the thesis are tests evaluating the ability of detection of the blackouts by the interactive network communication.
A Test Set for Red Hat Test Suite
Novotná, Kateřina ; Peringer, Petr (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with test preparation for Red Hat Test Sytem (RHTS). Basic concepts of software testing explained, RHTS described in more detail, together with an approach how to make a test set for a software package. The main areas for test for selected packages, wireshark and wireshark-gnome in particular, are analysed and tests are designed and implemented using Dogtail framework for GUI testing and RHTS library for other tests.
Accounting and Inspecting IP Telephony Traffic
Sivák, Vladimír ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis describes architecture of IP telephony networks based on signaling protocol SIP and transport protocol RTP. Also tools used for analyzing VoIP traffic are described. Main objective is to design and implement a system for the detection of calls and extraction of voice payloads from  the captured packets. The system first recognizes the signaling messages of SIP protocol. These messages are analyzed afterwards. Output statistics are generated based on gathered data. Voice data will be stored in form, which is suitable for further processing.
BigData Approach to Management of Large Netflow Datasets
Melkes, Miloslav ; Ráb, Jaroslav (referee) ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (advisor)
This master‘s thesis focuses on distributed processing of big data from network communication. It begins with exploring network communication based on TCP/IP model with focus on data units on each layer, which is necessary to process during analyzation. In terms of the actual processing of big data is described programming model MapReduce, architecture of Apache Hadoop technology and it‘s usage for processing network flows on computer cluster. Second part of this thesis deals with design and following implementation of the application for processing network flows from network communication. In this part are discussed main and problematic parts from the actual implementation. After that this thesis ends with a comparison with available applications for network analysis and evaluation set of tests which confirmed linear growth of acceleration.
Driver design for PROFINET bus coupler
Kroupa, Jiří ; Šubrt, Kamil (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
The essence of this diploma thesis is the design and implementation of driver for Profinet bus coupler from Phoenix Contact, which use computer's network card for communication. The proposal builds on the knowledge gained from available literature and analysis of Profinet protocol.
Security analysis of network protocols
Bednařík, Jan ; Sobotka, Jiří (referee) ; Hajný, Jan (advisor)
The aim of my bachalor’s thesis is security of net protocols analysis. Because of the huge number of net protocols, I’ve decided to choose only a few of them to describe. My task is to describe the TCP/IP model structure in term of security, so I have chosen to devide my thesis into two separate parts. The first part contains describtions of particular TCP/IP layers and adumbration of possibilities of securing. The second part contains more accurate describtions of some chosen protocols, mostly the case of their security. At the close of my work it is my task to describe some utilities and methods which can be used to accomplish an successful attack on chosen net protocols. I have chosen protocols HTTP, FTP and SSL. As the utilities I have chosen programs Wireshark, Brutus and SSLSTRIP.
Packet Analyser for UWB based on 15.4a standard
Leixner, Martin ; Šimek, Milan (referee) ; Mráz, Ľubomír (advisor)
The aim of this work is study the standard for wireless sensor networks IEEE 802.15.4a. Design and implementation of a packet analyzer for ultra wideband technology com- pliant with IEEE 802.15.4a standard. Integrate packet analyzer to inspection software Wireshark and implement dissector for view packets. Finally, analyze and evaluate the parameters of the proposed packet analyzer.
Securing IP PBX against attacks and resistance testing
Kakvic, Martin ; Šedý, Jakub (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on attacks on PBX Asterisk, FreeSWITCH and Yate in LTS versions. In this work was carried out two types of attacks, including an attack DoS and the attack Teardown. These attacks were carried out using two different protocols, SIP and IAX. During the denial of service attack was monitored CPU usage and detected if its possible to establish call and whether if call can be processed. The Security of PBX was build on two levels. As a first level of security there was used linux based firewall netfilter. The second level of security was ensured with protocols TLS and SRTP.
Support of QoS in MANET networks
Figurny, Roman ; Mácha, Tomáš (referee) ; Vajsar, Pavel (advisor)
The theoretical part of Master's thesis has been dealing with issues of MANET networks, issues of providing quality of services in MANET networks and analysis of various implementations of quality of services in these networks. At the start of the practical part of this thesis was described modified OLSR process model with support of quality of services. In simulation program OPNET Modeler was designed a topology of MANET network, firstly was run a simulation of this network without any support of quality of services and then was run a simulation with support of quality of services. The results of these simulations were analyzed, compared and graphically interpreted. In the next part of this thesis was designed a real MANET network with OLSR support. OLSR network communication was captured with the use of Wireshark. In the last part of this thesis was firstly described a meaning and functions of plugins in OLSR implementation and then was developed a plugin which is responsible for sending messages which contain a state of the links between nodes of MANET networks.
Packet analyser for a Wireless Sensor Networks based on the standard IEEE 802.15.4
Bednařík, Martin ; Šimek, Milan (referee) ; Mráz, Ľubomír (advisor)
The objective of this thesis is to get familiar with wireless sensor networks technologies and with standard IEEE 802.15.4. and communication principle in wireless sensor networks built on this standard. Main goal of this project is to design a packet analyzer, which is capable to catch data on chosen channel and this data is able to analyze. Part of this project is production of necessary microcontroller software equipment. Another output of this project is do a research of available packet analyzers on market and compare them with analyzer build by this thesis.
