Mapping of a consumption basket for school canteens in selected elementary schools in Český Krumlov

The aim of a bachelor's thesis is to map a performance of consumer basket standards in selected elementary school canteens in Český Krumlov. Theoretic part consists of information about the history and legislative of school canteens, definition of a consumer basket and its commodity and general information about selected elementary schools and their school canteens. Practical part contains gathered datas of consumer baskets in selected school canteens in a period 2012-2015 and evaluation of the observance of given consumer basket standards. A document analysis and method of a quantitive processing of gained figures was employed to acquire presented datas.

This thesis deals with modern technologies and their contribution to the operation and maximum efficiency in their use in school cafeterias. Based on the survey in three selected regions of the Czech Republic, whose goal is to monitor the situation in the school canteen facilities, specialized software, or other technologies. Bachelor thesis provides an answer to the question of whether information and communication technologies are an economic benefit for the school canteens. To calculate the economic benefit by creating a simple calculator that can be used for work director or head of the school canteens. Impacts of 2016 VAT cut on selected groceries in Slovakia

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze the impact of the reduction of VAT on selected groceries in Slovakia in 2016. I am comparing the composition of the consumer basket and shopping lists of end-consumers before this legislative amendment and thereafter and consumer preferences, on which products they would like to have reduced VAT rate. Then I am also analysing the impact on the consumer prices of groceries with recured tax rate and on the groceries, which composition is similar, but they are encumbered with standard tax rate. The comparative analysis has shown that the tax reduction is reflected in the final price of approximately 96 %. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics and the system of value added tax, historical development in Slovak law and impacts of the tax rate cut abroad. Conclusion interprets the results of comparative analysis and questionnaire.
Consumer basket of cycling tourists in the Czech Republic

The thesis Consumer basket of cycling tourists in the Czech Republic deals with the creation of the consumer basket, which includes common expenses of cycling tourists during their cycling holidays and cycling trips in the Czech Republic. As part of the work was carried out a survey among Czech cycling tourists, whose results are analysed in the work.

The importance of ICT for the management of household budgets

This thesis deals with the importance of ICT in the management of household budgets. At first are presented the objectives and the selected methods in the two main areas of work. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts, such as finance, money, income and expenditure, financial management, remuneration and budgeting process. The next section presents the basic forms of home finance management and describes chosen applications. Introduction of practical part deals with the evaluation of a questionnaire survey which aimed to map the situation of the management of home finance university-educated respondents. By questionnaires is determined the age category of respondents, number of dependents and self-employed persons in the household, the method of recording revenue and expenditure and the subsequent establishment of the budget, then the debt or form of household savings. Results are presented graphically and verbally. The next section contains a description of the software solutions accounting of revenue and expenditure and household budgets created specifically for the purpose of this thesis. In chapter Results and Discussion is presented evidence gathered in the practical part using SWOT analysis and proposed measures to eliminate the two identified threats. The final chapter assesses whether the objectives have been achieved.
Cost comparisons of differentiated meals approaches in selected regional kindergarten

The Bachelor Thesis focuses on application of two approaches in the cooking of the same model menu using differing raw material and foods in the selected kindergarten. This Project Cooking is performed by the Kindergarten Val in its school canteen. The aim of the Thesis is to identify the differences in costs of the two approaches to cooking and catering, define the financial differences and perform a survey among parents to discover if they are interested in either catering type even if the price increases. The Method of the Thesis consists of production of two menus including the same items in accordance with meals recommended by Consumer Basket (menu regulation for kindergarten and school kitchens and canteens). Then the cooking costs are calculated for either menu and the analyses also include evaluation of the survey made among parents who show their will to pay higher price for fresh local foods.
Inflation in the Czech Republic

The thesis aims to analyze the evolution of inflation in the Czech Republic over the past fifteen years and compare it with the values of inflation Visegrad Group countries, as countries with common characteristics. The research part describes and explains the concepts related to the topic that are necessary to understand the issue. The analytical part is dedicated to specific data on rates of inflation and other selected indicators in the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and the Slovak Republic. The conclusion summarizes the most important findings from the data is a solved problem. The average annual inflation rate in the Czech Republic in 2015 was 0,3 %. In the meantime monitored fifteen years the inflation rate ranged from 0,1% to 6,3%. In 2008 was recorded compared to the previous year, an increase of 3,5 p.p. To was due to the anti-inflationary effects that were let up from the impact of the economic crisis.
