Security system using mobile networks
Svoboda, Adam ; Wieser, Vladimír (referee) ; Hanus, Stanislav (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with design of security system, which transmits captured video using mobile systems. There are chosen representatives of cameras and motion sensors that could be used in the construction. The thesis also deals with the theoretical design of the transmission system, which consists of a camera, a motion sensor, an USB modem and a microprocessor, that manages all operations. There is also a proposed block diagram of a communication method. The security system is designed and tested in various conditions.
Wireless accelerometer modul
Lysoň, Jakub ; Odstrčilík, Jan (referee) ; Bubník, Karel (advisor)
This master’s thesis describes a wireless accelerometer module. The aim of this work was to study the properties and involvement of the accelerometer, wireless module design for data transfering from the accelerometer to the PC and the module implementation. As a wireless device is used bluetooth module that enables communication between the product and the computer. The wireless module used rechargable lithium ion battery that helps keep module alive without adapter or net cable.
Controlling of myoelectric prothesis
Tomanová, Markéta ; Bubník, Karel (referee) ; Janoušek, Oto (advisor)
The Master´s thesis summarizes the knowledge about controlling of myoelectric prostheses. The Introduction part of this work provides an overview of the anatomy of muscles and their contraction. In case of restricted function of hand, it is necessary to compensate this deficiency by using prosthetic limbs. Among one of the most technically difficult is robotic prosthesis. In this semestral work is myoelectric prosthesis replaced by a robotic arm. Arm is controlled by the electromyographic signals. The signals are recorded by Biopac acquision unit, then processed in LabVIEW and robotic system is controlled by the Arduino platform.
Design of the On Demand Pacemaker controlled by Microcontroller
Jarošová, Veronika ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this diploma work is the suggestion and realization of a cardiostimulator of „On Demand“ type operated by microcontroller. The work is structured on four thematic parts. For the correct suggestion of the whole system, firstly is necessary to understand correctly the cell’s electrophysiology and heart’s anatomy, inclusive the cardiology arrhytmia, which are adherent to cardiostimulators. The cardiostimulator is inhibited by the R-wave and is adaptive on a pulse rate of a source signal. The whole system is supplied by batteries and this supplying is taken into consideration. The network’s functionality is realized on the ECG simulator. There are suggested the suitable enhancements in discussion.
Digital AM / FM transmitter
Kováč, Marek ; Strašil, Ivo (referee) ; Pavelka, Ondřej (advisor)
This master thesis is focused on the theoretical description and practical implementation of software defined transmitter. The main aim of this thesis was made the prototype of software defined transmitter in FM band. Theoretical part is determined to description of basic parts of equipment and working principles to understand the basic principle of digital transmitters and define the appropriate component base for construction. Discussed are used types of A/D and D/A converters, blocks of digital signal processing and the roles, which these components performs. The second part is focused practical. Specified are suitable types of components and block diagram is proposed for following electrical connection and printed circuit board in Eagle program as a plug-in modul for developmental platform Arduino. The main point is program, which sets and controls the transmitter. Next important part is impedance match and antenna tuning, which is explain in practical part of thesis. The result is prototype of software defined transmitter compatible with Arduino Uno platform.
Automated Shooting Range for Air Pistols
Radvanský, M.
This work deals with the design and manufacture of the device, which is used as a shooting range to practice shooting with an air gun. The device is controlled by the Arduino MEGA and could be connect to any number of smart targets. It is designed to be easily portable, comfortable to use, to enable multiple modes of activity and support several of shooters. The secondary aim is also to ensure the attractiveness of the firing for shooters.
Robot
Flek, O.
The objective of this paper is to design and produce a robot based on a four wheel chassis equipped with a robotic arm capable of manipulating small objects. The robot should be able to operate in an autonomous mode controlled by a microcontroller and in a mode controlled wirelessly by an operator in real time. Precision and accuracy of the robotic arm should be sufficient for the collection of small objects, such as syringes and needles. The entire robot should be easy to operate user-friendly controls so as to minimize training for other users. The machine construction should be easily disassembleable - allowing easy adjustment or replacement of any of its parts.
Board computer with GPS module for motorbike
Kaláb, Lukáš ; Vyskočil, Pavel (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and subsequent construction of a board computer for a motorbike, using a GPS module. Vehicle speed, distance travelled and the motor's rotations (RPM) are among the basic elements that are measured and shown. Furthermore, the mechanism allows one to measure and show the average consumption, the temperature of the surrounding environment as well as the motor's temperature, battery voltage, current time, and, with the help of the GPS module, the current GPS location of the vehicle, including altitude. The vehicle's entire journey can be saved to the memory card for further processing in a PC.
Digital Signal Processor based Baby Cry Detector
Sobotková, Šárka ; Rozman, Jiří (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis discusses the baby cry. Processing of literary research in dealing with children crying and processing of audio signals. Based on information gathered propose an algorithm for detecting child's cry, which was verified using Matlab programming environment. Based on the identified parameters of the input signals and the proposed algorithms was selected appropriate digital signal processor. The hardware device was realized to detect and initialize the child crying, and its functionality has been verified in the recorded sound recordings child crying.
Control of Music Equipment with Non-Electric Sensors Using MIDI Protocol
Vlach, Miloš ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this Master’s thesis is to create a device that is able to control MIDI musical electronics, via use of non-electrical sensors as un-usual control elements and module Arduino Diecimila used as the processing element. This thesis is dealing with this given problem from a complex point of view, from design to actual realisation of the device. In the process of the thesis the solution for an optical proximity sensor and for resistance weight sensor is delivered. For both of them the adjustments circuitry is designed including interfaces, and further on it is constructed on PCB board. Then, control software, which processes the input sensor signal into a stream of MIDI data, which is sent to the computer as a slave device, is developed. The runtime of the program and the behaviour of MIDI elements can be controlled with a sub-protocol based on MIDI SysEx messages.
