Data collection from sensor units

This thesis deals with data collection from sensor units connected via 6LoWPAN standard (IEEE 802.15.4 standard), which uses simplified IPv6 protocol on the network layer. Featuring optimization makes this solution suitable for use in systems powered with chemical power supplies with a very low current consumption of both the sensor units and the control units. The thesis focuses on collecting data from sensor units that communicate on a star topology basis but it's also discussed possible usage of general topology, the end-station in such case works as active repeater and thus extend sensor network coverage without need of additional devices for wireless frames repeating or forwarding. It evaluates the realization of sensor networks created by both the actual data collection as well as specific technical parameters of used sensor boards. The practical part contains a specific application for gathering data from sensors present on the units and storing them in a relational database MySQL.

The Bachelor´s thesis gives us a view of computer vision development and its applications in a real world. It exists many typical tasks of computer vision. This thesis is focused on the scene description of picture information. It describes the most widely used types of relational databases, their advantages and disadvantages. The most important part of the work is a realization of application for photogrammetric data service. It is programmed in C# using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. The application is based on a relational database system Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition 3.5.

IS for School Registration in Africa

This document contains description of a design and implementation of an information system for school registration for project Adopce na dálku®. The information system audits the information about children whom school fees are paid form the project mentioned above. The information personal, about child's family, higienic condition, about sponsor and mainly the information about school, which are ranged especially to audit the information about school fees payment, are stored. Access to this application is hierarchic in compliance with rights of an individual users autentificated by password. The system allows to create new child's records and its editing, it can generate lists for printing in accordance with various criteria, too. The system is created for effective and synoptical management of information presented above.

Information System for Translators Association

In today's economic situation, companies are exposed to pressure because of the demand for high quality services at low prices. The information system which makes key processes of a company much more efficient means an important support in reaching those demands. This thesis is concerned with the analysis of requirements, design, implementation, and testing of the information system for NK Translators, the translators association. The analysis and specification of the requirements were carried out with usage of UML. Web technologies like HTML, Javascript, PHP, and MySQL database system were used for implementation of the information system in the form of a web application. Finally, the implemented system was successfully submitted to a user testing.

Information System for Oriflame Cosmetics Sellers

The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to create the information system for Oriflame cosmetics sellers. It describes basic functions and properties of the databases, further the commonly used technologies for dynamic web pages creation are presented - PHP, Javascript. The following chapters deal with the analysis and proposition of the information system. The final part of the work describes the implementation of the designed system itself.
