Debt Financing Model and its Comparsion with Current Trends in Household Debt

The aim of this work attempts to identify some causes of the current trend in household debt. The work presents its own model of debt financing. Subjects maximize their discounted utility, which depends on its consumption and debt financing in different time periods. Consumer and mortgage loans are analysed. Model simulates an inefficiency of any type of consumer debt financing, and allows benefits in certain situations in mortgage debt financing. These results are discussed in terms of model assumptions, and also from the perspective of some behavioral approaches to indebtedness. The findings are put into comparison with the current trend in the debt financing and identify the reasons, why the model is or is not equivalent to today's economic trends.
Analysis of wages progression and costs of wages in particular sectors of national economy

The master thesis of this bachelor work is the analysis of costs progression and costs of wages in various sectors of national economy. The main part is devoted to differentiation of households salaries and dynamics of this salaries in various sectors for years 2005 and 2008. The mentioned Shift share analysis is about evaluation of wages level in particular territories. Otherwise the work is dedicated to productivity of work and dependance on labor costs.
Structure of indebtedness of citizens in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic

This thesis analyses the structure of indebtedness of citizens in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. Emphasis is put on segmentation of loans based on microeconomic characteristics. Classification involves not only parameters of loans, but also attributes of creditors and debtors. The objective is to provide an integrated overview of categories of indebtedness of households and their comparison for both of the analysed countries.

The bachelor thesis deals with the trend of growing czech households' indebtedness. It is focused on financial behavior of czech households in the sphere of debts and loans. The part one describes common banking and non-banking credit products, legislation of providing loans to czech households and consequences of possible indebtedness. In part two there are analyzes of households' debt with banks and non-banking institution, in view of time period, structure and causes. The thesis includes also comparison with situation in the European Union.
Home insurance

This thesis concerns home insurance, with the main goal of raising awareness of this topic among both the public and specialists in the field. In reaching this goal, a wide range of statistical methods is used. The text contains five chapters. The first theoretical chapter deals with basic terms and an overview of the Czech home insurance market while the remaining four chapters concern practical aspects. From the four practical chapters, each deals with the topic from a different point of view. The second chapter deals with polls, the third looks at comparing different home insurance products on the Czech market, the fourth describes trends and forecasts of premiums and claims using a time-series analysis, and the last uses regression and cluster analyses to further describe this market. The set aim was reached using appropriate statistical methods and procedures. The analysis of the data received from polls, the comparison of different products and the creation of forecasts for further periods represent the biggest contribution to this thesis.
Decision-making about classification of stocks into investment portfolio of households

The development of revenue and expenditure of Czech and Slovak households (and future outlook)

My bachelor thesis is focused on the development of revenue and expenditure of Czech and Slovak households. In the theoretical part I dealt with by dividing the income and expenditure of households. I was looking in particular the differences in income between the two states that are its history and location very close. This also became my first order to work. Another part of this work is the statistical part of the issue containing the time series. The second objective is to establish a work estimate of the development of revenue in the future, which I included in the practical part.

Main goal of the diploma thesis is to describe household consumption and its survey in the Czech Republic not only from the macroeconomic but mainly from the microeconomic standpoint. Consumption expenditures are the main subject of many long-term analysis and forecasts which help by implementation of economic and politcal precautions. In connection with the historical development of statistic as a scientific disciplin there is also a significant stress on a methodical development of household budget surveys which examine consumption expenditures of different social groups and household types. After the analysis of development and structure of household consumption surveyed by National Accounts and Household Budget Surveys the attention is given also to household consumption in member states of the European Union among which is also the Czech Republic.
Indebtness of Households and Financial Markets Stability

During last 20 years there was huge boom in the financial markets thanks to increase of household indebtness. This work studies acceleration of consumer and mortgage debt in EU, USA and Czech Republic during 1990 -- 2007. Due to liberalization and interest rate volatility there was an unprecedented increase of indebtness thanks to very low mortgage interest rates. Goal of this work is to analyze situation in countries, compare developments between them and find similarities which are typical for them. This works also focuses on financial stability in Czech Republic and influence of eventual insolvency on this stability. Besides households there is description of financial markets with mortgage securities and its possible threats.
Analysis of debt and savings of czech households

Thesis deals with the analysis of financial behavior of czech population in terms of debt and savings. It focuses on households, because they support economic growth by consumer spending and also constitute an important factor in the labor market and store money into the various types of savings and thus provide important sources of financing to domestic economy. The work analyzes household debt with banks and non-banking institutions, its causes and possible consequences, and also includes comparison with the situation in the EU. Part of the savings analyzes the link between the level of gross savings, disposable income and household consumption and the relationship of growth of savings and unemployment, the development of various types of savings and compares the situation with EU countries.
