Bachelor thesis is focused on alternative sources of energy for the house and their evaluation. The first part focuses on the general view on alternative energy sources and making explicit the house of each resource of which the assessment is undertaken. The next chapters are focused on each types of renewables for which will be the conclusion in the end of each section for the assessment of a given house. The conclusion is evaulated for the selected type of alternative energy resources towards normally used ones.

Draft tube role in hydraulic turbine performance

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the problems of draft tube. It contains basic description of draft tubes, their division and possibilities of their utilizations. Further, this thesis focuses on description of draft tubes, their efficiency, losses and ways to eliminate these losses. One part of this work also mentions basic relationships required for computing length of draft tube, velocity of the fluid in the draft tube and others.

Different use of the wind energy.

The target of this bachelor study is describing basic type of renewable sources of energy. Emphasis is put on wind energy. Another part is description of different types of wind generators. In the last part study deals with problem of accumulation of wind energy for later use, thanks to compression of air in the underground mines.

This bachelor thesis deals with the functions of hydro-power plants, describes the various machinery and their distribution according to the parameters of use. Outlines the calculation in the design of hydraulic machines. There are also descriptions of machine layout and their use in praktice. For the particular case, there is prepared hydro power plant Dlouhé stráně. Related topic that is included here, the electricity system and the daily load diagram.

Water turbines and them use

This bachelor´s thesis deals with the problems of water turbines. It contains basic division of water turbines, description of their oparations and possibilities of their utilizations. Further this thesis focuses on description of the three most used turbines i.e. Francis´s, Kaplan´s and Pelton´s turbines. As one component of this work there are also mentioned essential relations required for selection of proper type of turbine in dependency on speed, slope and flow rate.

Domestic electricity production from renewable sources

The present bachelor thesis describes utilization of renewable resources, which can be used for production of electric energy. It presents three ways, one of them is wind power plant, the second is photovoltaic system and the last one is water power plant. There are suggested two ways of electric energy supply to family houses including economic evaluation.

Možnosti využití vodní energie na příkladu přečerpávací vodní elektrárny Dlouhé Stráně

Tato bakalářská práce popisuje situaci v oblasti obnovitelných zdrojů energie na území České republiky. Pozornost je také věnována oblasti české a evropské legislativy. Práce dále popisuje současný stav, výhody a nevýhody využívání obnovitelných zdrojů energie. Tato studie je především zaměřená na přečerpávací vodní elektrárnu Dlouhé Stráně vybudovanou v Chráněné krajinné oblasti Jeseníky. Na základě mojí práce zjišťuji, zda je možné zrealizovat další vodní elektrárnu na území ČR jakou jsou Dlouhé Stráně. Odpověď není zcela jednoznačná a právě proto je ve studii zahrnuta jak ekonomická tak i SWOT analýza. Na základě těchto údajů zhodnotím celý projekt PVE Dlouhé Stráně.

Renewable energy resources in CR

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá situací v oblasti obnovitelných zdrojů energie (OZE) v ČR. Popisuje současný stav využívání obnovitelných zdrojů a situaci v oblasti legislativy. Dále obsahuje popis, výhody a nevýhody využívání jednotlivých OZE. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je zhodnotit, zda se v podmínkách České republiky vyplatí investovat do obnovitelných zdrojů energie. Samostatná část je zaměřená na malé vodní elektrárny (MVE) a obsahuje příklady konkrétních projektů MVE. V závěru práce je uveden výpočet efektivity konkrétního projektu MVE pomocí základních ekonomických ukazatelů.
