Precision forging

This bachelor´s thesis deals with the technology of precision forging. The thesis describes basic distribution of the forging according to the nature of the material flow and his procedure. After the introductory part this thesis deals with the analysis of the methods of the drop forging with fin groove. The next section contains a description, parameters and methods of precision forging. Technical a economical evaluation of the component technology is as a conclusion of the thesis.
Production of the component "Lid"

This project developed within the Bachelor study of Engineering Technology proposes a technology component “Lid” made of1 mm thick sheet metal ofmaterial11 375(1.0038). The component will be made on a combined roll forming machine. A mount with two pillars will be used for the production, which will be located in an eccentric press LEN 40C by TOMA Industries Ltd. based in Trnava, Slovakia. The nominal press force is 400kN. The thesis deals with methods, procedures and possibilities of precision forging. After the initial analysis methods of die forging with collar also comprises an overview, analysis and description of methods of precision forging, including a technological evaluation in view of technical possibilities, investment requirements and expected benefits. The main emphasis is laid on the technological conditions, procedure, on the construction of the dies and forging devices.

The thesis also compares the past with conventional methods of production and considering the new technological process of manufacturing. Based on the literature studies about fitting and calculations, was chosen to die forging hammer KHZ 2 A (producer ŠMERAL Brno, plant Hronov), with nominal energy of 20 kJ working pressure of 16 MPa and 30 kW electric power.

The aim of this Batchelor Thesis is to compare different deep drawing technologies, for given deep-drowen product – an industrial lamp, made of steel brass. The technologies to compare will be hydro-mechanical drawing, gradual deep drawing and metal stamping technology. The procedure of simple hydro-mechanical drawing parameters calculation will be indicated. The prevalent part of the Thesis is aimed at different technologies description, and on an illustrating example of individual operations expensiveness.
