Těžba v Predator-Prey modelu
Chrobok, Viktor ; Lagová, Milada (advisor) ; Kalčevová, Jana (referee)
The paper is focused on the Predator-Prey model modified in the case of harvesting one or both populations. Firstly there is given a short description of the basic model and the sensitivity analysis. The first essential modification is percentage harvesting. This model could be easily converted to the basic one using a substitution. The next modification is constant harvesting. Solving this system requires linearization, which was properly done and brought valuable results applicable even for the basic or the percentage harvesting model. The next chapter describes regulation models, which could be used especially in applying environmental policies. All reasonable regulation models are shown after distinguishing between discrete and continuous harvesting. The last chapter contains an algorithm for maximizing the profit of a harvester using econometrical modelling tools.

On the Question of Pharmacists' Worksatisfaction

Conditions of damage initiation in fibre composite materials are analysed in the paper. The main objective of the presentation is to quantify the influence of fibre-matrix material mismatch on failure critical stress under which a crack is initiated in the vicinity of a free fibre end. The considerations are derived from the knowledge of the stress state caused by the existence of the bi-material interface. The step change of material properties in the interface leads to singular peak of stresses, which may be responsible for crack initiation and consequently for failure of the structure. The singular stress state near the interface is analysed by means of generalized linear elastic fracture mechanics and conditions of crack initiation are assessed. On the basis of the results the question of interfacial debonding between the fibre and matrix is discussed.

Second primary tumors in patients with head and neck cancers
Sůrová, Petra ; Čoček, Aleš (advisor)
The topic of this thesis "Duplicate malignant tumors in patients carcinomas of the head and neck "I chose based on my interest of oncological problems. Cancer diseases represent and probably even long period of time will constitute the second most common cause of death. Worldwide incidence exceeds an average of five hundred thousand cases. Tumors of the head and neck are among the most aggressive malignancies with a high incidence of formation metastases. Carcinomas of the head and neck collectively represent about 5% of all malignant tumors and their number is increasing annually. Men are affected 2 - 8x more than ženy.Vícečetné tumors in patients with carcinoma of the head and neck have a high incidence of adverse involved in their prognosis. Secondarily Primary tumor occurs in 3-7% of patients with cancer squamózním the head and neck. The causes leading to cancer development, on the one hand we are given and are thus heavily influenced (genetic predisposition, various diseases adversely affecting the immune system of the body, age, ...) as well as caused partly modifiable factors (chemical substances in the environment and work environment ...) and complete (smoking, alcoholism, poor diet, lack of exercise ...). Due to this fact, the best treatment of these cancer prevention. This work has two meanings....

Reflections of the process of linguistic change in the language of the translations in the manuscript of the Book of Hyde
Stenzl, Libor ; Šaldová, Pavlína (referee) ; Čermák, Jan (advisor)
The purpose of the present paper is a comparative study of the language of the documents and their translations in the Book of Hyde. The researched documents are only a fraction of the whole body of the texts contained in the Book of Hyde. The texts of interest are documents, usually wills and certificates of donation, that were written between 885 and the beginning of the 11th century. Their translations originate approximately from the close of the 14th century.

Using Mock Objects for Testing and Software Design
Weigel, Tomáš ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to provide comprehensive set of information about a technique called the Mock Objects. The importance of bug discovery in a coding phase is now greater, as the complexity of application's development is rising. Test-Driven Development might help us to deal with this issue in the earliest phase. Hence, there is a description of this methodology in the introduction, alongside with an overview of its integral part -- Unit Testing. However, testing is not an easy task in most non-trivial code. The use of Test Doubles, especially Mock Objects, addresses some of these issues and extends the set of testing techniques by a powerful tool. This thesis focuses on its benefits. TDD with Mock objects also promises interesting possibilities in software design. Last chapter presents some of the tools to support Mock Objects manipulation as well as short introduction to their syntax.

Variability of meteorological processes in stratosphere in relation to vertical ozone profile
Motl, Martin ; Kalvová, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Halenka, Tomáš (referee)
There is studied an influence of dynamical processes in atmosphere on the total ozone and its vertical profile in this work. There are described known atmospherical processes with influence on ozone variability and statistical methods used in the work at first. Then is studied connection between ozone and tropopause height. There are also monitored time trends of ozone and tropopauzse height. There are computed modes of variability for the field of the geopotential in pressure levels from 500 to 10 hPa in the next part of the work and there is studied a statistical connection between computed modes and ozone. There is constructed linear regression model from time trend and computed modes. This model describes considerable part of the ozone variability and there are discussed possibilities of use some similar model for prediction of the total ozone in the resume.

The entrapment of the Czech nobility by Pragues and Kutná Hora's patriciate in the year 1309 or eIse "there is no more harsher man than the ennoblement making ribald"
Musílek, Martin ; Dvořáčková, Dana (referee) ; Žemlička, Josef (advisor)
The historical research devoted only small focus on the entrapment of the Czech nobility. Generally, mainly the conclusions made by Josef Šusta had been taken into account. Specialists say that we have no chance to find something new in this subject of historical scholarship. Big deposits of silver were found near Kutná Hora during Václav's II rule. The hot symbiosis started up between the monarch and the tops of the patriciate. This friendship was bringing benefits to both of the sites of the symbiosis. The patriciates was able to do businesses and trades very easily, when the monarch stood by their side. In retum for this the patriciates was providing the valuable services to monarch, especially managing the royal chamber or helping in financial crisis. Helping in financial crisis became important during times of expensive and ambitious statesmanship of the last Přemysls. When the last of the Přemysls died, the prominent patriciates were starting to participate in political events that were shaking the whole kingdom. They were taking part in voting congresses, different missions; actually some of Czech pretendents tried to win the patriciates over. In these years the entrapment of the Czech nobility in Sedlec and in Prague also took place. When we evaluate the previous development, we have the question:...
