Analysis of the financial management of professional football clubs in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis focuses on the processing of the analysis of the financial management of professional football clubs in the Czech Republic. Theoretical part deals with the financial reporting in the area of sport as a whole, further describes specifics of professional football clubs' financial management and serves as a starting point for the individual financial analysis of the clubs. Practical part contains the football clubs' analysis based on the previously explained theoretical knowledge. Ratio indicators and Altman Z -- score are used for the individual financial analysis. Furthermore, the whole economic branch is briefly summarized and identification of its characteristic features is provided. In conclusion, the results are discussed in detail and potential solution to the current situation is suggested.

Methods indicating substantial areas along with an overview of used patterns follow-up. The subject of the practical part is performing financial analysis aling with interpretation of results. The summarization of essential information is provided by the end of the thesis.

Bachelor thesis called Financial Analysis of EPIAG LOFIDA - porcelán Ltd. focuses on the analysis of the financial position and financial health of the company from 2007 to 2010. This financial analysis should evaluate the economic activities and identify specific problem areas of the company. The thesis is divided into two parts. The methodological part focuses on the theoretical nature of the financial analysis. It explains the objectives of financial analysis by types of users and the individual methods of analysis with a focus on inputs required for its processing. Characteristics of selected indicators of profitability, liquidity, activity, debt and bankruptcy models are added afterwards. The practical part introduces briefly the analyzed company and subsequently the knowledge from the methodological part is applied for the calculation of parameters values and their interpretation.

This thesis evaluates financial situation of Plzeňský Prazdroj Inc. during 2003 - 2006. The first part describes methods of financial analysis which are subsequently applied onto the evaluated company in the second part. The methods used in this thesis including analysis of total indexes and ratio indicators, Du Pont analysis and multivariate models for bankruptcy prediction.

Objectives of a company in individual periods of its existencional cycle

The thesis consists of two parts {--} the theoretical and the practical one. First of all, the theoretical part explicates the terms of `enterprise{\crq} and `business activity{\crq} according to various authors and definitions. Then the phases of an enterprise life cycle are analysed. Then, the enterprise goals - the primary goal and other goals - are described. The next chapter deals with the possibilities of monitoring the goals {--} a pyramid system of factors is analysed here. The practical part contains calculations, tables, graphs and relevant comments on the received values. In the conclusion, the current situation of the enterprise is assessed, and partial goals are proposed.

This thesis is focused on estimation of general economical situation of the firm Oděvní podnik, a.s. from year 2003 to 2009. The thesis is divided into two main parts. In first part the methodology is defined. Second part evaluates the company through the use of methods, which are defined in first part. The main methods I used are ratio analysis and analysis of absolute indicators. One part of this thesis is focused on application of bankruptcy and creditworthy models. The aim was to find out if this models are able to predict the bad financial situation, in which the company at present is.

This bachelor thesis deals with the financial analysis of Drůbežářský závod Klatovy a.s. during the period 2005-2009. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate the economic situation of the corporation and find out its competitive strength. A part of the project is the methodology which qualifies concepts and indicators and creates bases for the practical part. In the practical part of the project horizontal and vertical analysis of balance sheet and profit and loss statement with comments are performed at first. The next section is dedicated to the working capital analysis and ratio indicators. After that follow Du Pont decomposition of return on equity, bankruptcy models such as Altman performance index, IN indexes and the intercompany comparison. In conclusion the results will be summarized and recommendations will be proposed for a potential improvement of the financial situation of the corporation.

Bachelor thesis evaluates the financial health of the KASKO corporation in the years 2005 - 2009. The first part presents the topic of this bachelor's thesis and the aim of the thesis. The theoretical part describes the financial analysis, its users and sources of information for financial analysis. It also deals with methodological apparatus, such as horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance sheet and profit and loss report, as well as ratios of profitability, activity, liquidity, leverage and summary indexes of ratings, which include Du Pont decomposition of return on equity, Economic value added and Index IN 05. At the beginning the practical part characterizes analysis of the company and then devoted to applications of these instruments for KASKO corporation. In conclusion the results will be summarized and recommendations will be proposed for a potential improvement of the financial situation of the corporation.
