Organizational process model
Šindelářová, Šárka ; Řepa, Václav (advisor) ; Saska, Jiří (referee)
This thesis covers with the topic of process management and organization modeling. The goal is to design a future state of process architecture in selected department of a multi-national company, which is based on ISO / IEC TR 29110-5-1-2:2011 for very small entities, complemented by techniques of agile methodologies. The final form of the future proposal includes the conceptual and detail design according to the aforementioned standard, supported by the selected agile techniques, adjusted for the results of the differential analysis of conceptual and detail design and current status. The theoretical part presents the issue of process management and modeling standards and a methodology for modeling and control of IT processes. The practical part is devoted to the application of the selected standard for IT management processes and agile techniques that support this standard. The proposed process architecture is modeled using the selected methodology MMABP and prescribed standards. The work can serve as an inspiration for the company that would be suited a combination of traditional and agile approaches to IT.
Process optimization of providing subsidies for social services
Semerád, Ondřej ; Oškrdal, Václav (advisor) ; Matuštík, Ondřej (referee)
The work focuses on the application of process management in government through the mapping of process of providing subsidies for social services and optimization of this process. For this purpose the first part explains the terms of process management, process and process modeling that are for better follow-up with real practices put into the context of quality management, which is officially adopted by the public administration. This is the subject of the second part, which connects terms defined at the beginning with the real experience, thereby facilitating the adoption of theoretical approaches as realistically feasible and "nonlaboratory". The last part deals with analysis of the attained data and the actual modeling of process and proposals for its optimization.
Procesní model obchodní společnosti
Vyleťal, Petr ; Doc. Ing. Jan Pour, CSc. (advisor) ; ing. Daniel Tobolka, Ph.D (referee)
Process management is frequently used term these days. The aim of this diploma thesis is to explain, what „process“ actually means, what has been the historical evolution, what are its alternatives, but mainly what are the benefits for the company. Even though the title of this thesis is „Process model of trading company“, its content goes further than that. Creation of company’s process model is only one part, even though important, of the process- based management of the company (Business Process Management, BPM). Moreover, the methods and procedures described in this thesis can be used almost in any company, not only in the trading one. The main contribution of this thesis is in its broad view of process management. This thesis deals with some topics, which at the first sight don’t even relate to BPM (ISO standards or Change Management). Nevertheless, after closer examination the link becomes obvious. Most of the methods described in the theoretical part of this document are later used in its practical part for the BPM implementation proposal in the concrete company. The read is thus given an option to immediately confront theory with reality and visualize sometimes very general theoretical procedures. This document is structured in 5 chapters. The first chapter introduces a reader to this thesis topic, reasons for its selection and the aims, benefits and limitations. The second chapter shows the meaning of process management in the broader context of related concepts. The aim of the third chapter is to show practical use of process management. The fourth chapter is dedicated to implementation proposal of BPM in specific company. First, the company is described and its main aspects analyzed, which enables to present the company strategy. Then, the most important company processes are modeled and described, together with their evaluation and optimization proposal. The benefits and advantages of BPM are outlined in the closing chapter.
Návrh procesů pro elektronické knihy
Brunát, Tomáš ; Říhová, Zora (advisor) ; Drongová, Kateřina (referee)
The thesis is engaged in the modeling of business processes, focusing on their design development, namely processes related to publishing electronic books. The main goal of the thesis is application of the EPC process modeling method for selected processes in a particular company Grada Publishing, a.s. The theoretical part is focused on process description, optimization, management and process modeling standards. The practical part is devoted to design development of the processes related to publishing e books under the EPC standards. Each process is described and if it was necessary to show more details of it, also other specifications were added. Once the process was developed, a theoretical optimization of its sales related sub process was designed proposed.
Study of system development in firm Dussmann spol. s r.o. focused on process analysis and ICT use
Petřek, Pavel ; Střížová, Vlasta (advisor) ; Kalina, Jaroslav (referee)
In theoretical part, this thesis deals with evolution of term information which must be interpreted right way to continue to larger, more complex systems like information systems. This technical part is supported by proces analysis, which is needed to identify main processes of the organisation. This core proceses can be now supported by ICT in order to improve their efectiveness and performance. Increased quality of these processes is measured by applying maturity model, that can quantify diferencies between new processes and original ones.
The Modeling of selected processes in the Prague 4 City District Office
Gerlický, Filip ; Říhová, Zora (advisor) ; Novák, Miloslav (referee)
This work consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part provides an introduction to the problems of public administration and local government in particular. It deals with municipalities, their legislation (Act on Municipalities and the City of Prague), types, responsibilities, authorities and the difference between self-dependent and devolved matters. It puts municipality into the context of eGovernment, presents two types of classification of eGovernment and highlights the specifics of administrative duties to which belongs also an electronic identity card (eOP) issue. It deals with a history and a purpose of the identity cards and with requirements they are connected to. A large part discusses the eOP, its differences from previous types, functionality, advantages and disadvantages that it brings, and its safety. It describes the procedures and the requirements for its issuance, proposes some improvements and looks into its future. It doesn't forget to evaluate the project of the eOP. It briefly mentions the process modeling. In the practical part is created a new classification of the services of eGovernement and outlines probably the first complex methodology for such classification. In here there is developed an extensive detailed process model describing the issuance of the eOPs in the Prague 4 City District office, measured this service and evaluated its effectiveness. Then survey focused on citizens' views on electronic identity cards and on the procedure of their issuance is processed.
Process analysis of the financial department and its optimalization
Krausová, Lucie ; Kunstová, Renáta (advisor) ; Krahulec, Jan (referee)
My work is focused on the analysis and optimization of processes in the financial depart-ment SJL, join-stock company. In the first part of my work there are mentioned processes of this company in a theory, there is briefly mentioned methodology ARIS modeling tool for business process analysis ARIS Express. Subsequently the company and its financial department is described. The following chapter is about analysis of processes chosen. Finally each of the process is evaluated and there are some changes suggested. To analyse and evaluate chosen processes is a target of my work. The question is if the current system is prepared for a bigger amount of contracts expected and more work presumed for example accepting and issuing of invoices. Presented proposals of changes for the financial director which will increase the efficiency of the financial department there is the contribution of my work
Optimization of processes in the selected factory
Melichar, Václav ; Fortinová, Jana (advisor) ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (referee)
Thesis called "Optimization of processes in the selected factory" is aimed at improving the operation of business processes. The stated aim is to analyze the current processes in a particular company in the Moravian region and the results of the analysis process to select appropriate design solutions for problems found. In the theoretical part of the work the basic concepts are first defined and then the issue of process management and process modeling is further elaborated upon. The previous theoretical part is followed by a practical part. These are based on the analysis of three business processes identified which show shortcomings. To determine the suitability of the identified processes to optimize, the methodology of elimination questions is used. The benefit of this work is, in particular, better use of corporate assets in a particular chosen company.
