The effect of cutting conditions on surface integrity of austenitic steel
Husár, Ján ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Varhaník, Matúš (advisor)
The aim of this work was theoretically to analyze the issue of machinability of austenitic steels and their use. The document also discusses factors that affect the cutting process itself, such as the cutting tool, machine tool, cutting environment and cutting conditions. In the next part of the bachelor´s thesis, an experimental test and its realization at which individual steel samples were turned is proposed. The last part of the thesis summarizes the result of the experiment and evaluates selected properties of the surface and subsurface layers the processed samples.
Analysis of the Impact of Technological Processes on the Properties of the Functional Areas of Bearings
Fišerová, Zuzana ; Čep, Robert (referee) ; Sadílek, Marek (referee) ; Kouřil, Karel (referee) ; Chladil, Josef (advisor)
The dissertation is focused on the bearing production technology issues. The aim of the thesis is to investigate and evaluate the influence of the technological processes on properties of the functional surfaces of an outer bearing ring. The development, rolling, grinding and turning have been selected as basic technological processes. The subject of the surface integrity research on test samples is the measurement and analysis of the quality of the machined surfaces and residual stresses in the surface layers of the bearing rings. The comparison is made in relation to the previous operations - rolling, turning and grinding.
Analýza efektivity konstrukčního návrhu a zvolené technologie pro vybraný výrobek
PÍCHA, Jindřich
In the beginning of this essay there are explained terms of the matters. The theoretical part contains a description of all mechanical technologies and the machine Hermle C400. The following part shows an analyze of used technologies, a study of the materials, modeling, programming and a description of the sample production. Evaluation of the technology efficiency is displayed in the conclusion of this essay.
Multifunctional machining centers for machining rotating and prismatic parts
Hlobil, Jaroslav ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
The content of this master’s thesis is the choice of a suitable concept for the multifunctional machining center for rotary and non-rotating workpieces and design and processing of one structural node of this machine. The structure of the work is divided into three parts. In the first part, the market analysis is carried out from which it follows to the second part and it is the choice of a suitable machine concept. The third part deals with its own design of the constructional structure of this machining center.
Increasing effectiveness of rotary parts production on auto lathe machines
Bauer, Vít ; Dvořáček, Jan (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
Increasing effectiveness of semi-tightening tips production on the Swissstyle lathes. Analysis of current status. Design of areas for improvement. Proposed measures in the form of changes in cutting conditions, changes in geometry of tool, or an alternative solution to the current situation. Technical and economic evaluation of the proposed measures.
Production Concept of Single-purpose Stepped Cutting Tool
Opršál, Ladislav ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to propose a single-purpose stepped cutting tool for the drilling of the cylinder head. The thesis first introduces the current production of the cylinder head, including the description of the cutting conditions and the machines and tools used in the production process. The second part of the thesis is focused on the drilling of a three-step hole for which a step drill bit is proposed. The proposal describes the development of the drill bit, heat treatment, the method of clamping, the replaceable cutting tips used in the production process, additions for further machining and the cutting conditions. The last part of the thesis then deals with the technical-economic analysis, comparing the present and innovated stage of the production of the cylinder head.
Data selection and optimisation of cutting conditions for progressive production technologies
Baklík, Lukáš ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis discusses a change of an existing surface grinding technology for a more effective technology of face milling for the finishing operation of the jaw (for a hydraulic machine vise) in a tempered state with hardness of 53+4 HRC. The jaw is made of tool steel according to the Czech standard CSN41 9312. Two new versions are proposed for the new technology. Progressive cutting materials are listed for milling. A suitable tool is selected. Total production costs and machine times for cutting conditions of the chosen tool are predicted. In the experimental part, the cutting conditions are verified in practice.
High-speed Machining of Bearings from Material 100Cr6
Tropp, Pavel ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This Master's thesis deals with the issue of high-speed turning of the 100Cr6 material. The aim is to identify and experimentally validate an innovative production process for a particular component. The thesis includes theoretical basis of high-speed machining, analysis of the current state of the manufacturing process, innovation design and experimental verification. At the end of the thesis, parameters of the machined surfaces of specimens are evaluated.
Production Concept of Front Wheel Hub Carrier for Formula TU Brno Racing
Torčík, Václav ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with manufacturing process of a front wheel hub carrier prototype for formula TU Brno Racing Dragon 5 series. The paper starts on foregoing work of design team leading to a proposed model and material. Both material and model are investigated form a manufacturing point of view. Cutting conditions and milling strategy are proposed based on final product analysis. Prototype was manufactured on CNC machining centre MCV 754 QUICK in company BOSCH DIESEL s.r.o. in Jihlava. Retrospective analysis of performed manufacturing process and critical risks is provided with a proposal of more effective manufacturing process. In the closure, there is technical-economical evaluation of chosen manufacture done by milling. Alternative manufacturing options including 3D print and welding are compared in technics and costs.
Modern cutting tools for grooving and cutting-off
Matoušek, Jan ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The thesis in question deals with the influence of geometry of the cutting tool with a non-null angle r and of the cutting conditions on change of cutting tool’s overall deformation during the process of cutting-off and grooving. When conducting the experiments the loading of cutting tool was measured, there was created a simple 3D model of the cutting tool based on measured data, the deformation analysis of the cutting tool by the simulation programme ANSYS was performed and on the grounds of established facts there was made a conclusion on attributes of the cutting tool during the process of cutting-off and grooving.
