Raising Competitiveness of Lasertag Business through Enriching the Product Range by Non-smoking Club

Diploma thesis deals with competitiveness of lasertag facility. Costumer value creation is analysed based on value chain theory and compared with competition. Enriching of company product range by auxiliary services, mainly non-smoking club, is drawn up considering this and other analysis. Realization of these new ideas and evaluation of their success is also part of this thesis.

This master´s thesis is focused on competitiveness and consequent formation of the proposal of the strategy for incresing competitiveness of dance school Danza. Base data for the new strategy are gained from teoretical knowledge, the application of a questionnare survey and from analysis of general, branch and internal environment and SWOT analysis. Particular components of strategy,elements of marketing mix, are proposed on the base of data processing and their evaluating. This strategy is prerequisite for increasing competitiveness of the dance school Danza and creating her steady position on the market.

The thesis titled „Development of competitiveness of company" deals with the current situation of the pension Kosanda in Jeseníky mountains, based on which proposals are created in order to develop the competitiveness. The proposals have been created after analyzing and exploring data and evaluation of questionnaires completed by the guests. These suggestions include the potential of the village, changes of the exterior of pension, event marketing, package holidays, incentive tourism. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts, principles and methods of strategic management and marketing. The analytical part is concentrated on the analysis and the last part presents proposals and steps to strengthen its competitive position.

The thesis compares the theoretical knowledge with the reality of the hotel, characterizes and describes suggestions and options, in which it can achieve bigger success in the industry and region. The analytical part primarily describes the internal and external environment of the hotel, which influences it, in order to create a proposal that should lead to increase competitiveness of the hotel and strengthening its position in the market.
