TŮMOVÁ, M.: Changes of the microregion Rychnov nad Kněžnou between two world wars in the sources of municipal administration, on maps and plans, the thesis, The Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague, 2011, 90 p., 6 app. The thesis covers the changes of the environment of the city of Rychnov nad Kněžnou and its neighbourhood between the two world wars. In terms of the selected sources of municipal administration, the objective of the thesis is to detect whether the municipal documents contain relevant information and how much of it. The thesis is divided into chapters according to the sources that were harvested. The introduction covers the brief history of Rychnov nad Kněžnou. The main body focuses on the changes of the urban area in terms of the selected sources and considers relevance of the sources in understanding of development of the urban area. The municipal maps are enclosed in order to demonstrate the development and the changes and to provide a better orientation. Study of intersections Pasecká, Zlín

The subject of this Master's thesis is design solution of two intersections and a section of urban road between them in town Zlín. These T intersections without traffic signal have an inappropriate geometric design. The aim of the thesis is increasing traffic safety and reducing noise and dust in the location. This will be achieved by alteration of the urban road intersections and the sidewalk design.

This work aims to create transport–urbanism study which will lead to the improvement of attractivity of the whole region, whether for permanent or migrant populations, converts the traffic so that the least interfere with visitors of the city center while retaining its good accessibility, supports the development of pedestrian and cycling routes in context of the surrounding area. Traffic-urban solution will work with the master plan of Ostrava city and also take into account results of performed architectural and urban design competitions of a city in the area of interest. Emphasis will be placed on an economically resonable solution with connection to the future development of the site, construction phasing and quick implementation.

Roundabout in Prostějov Vojáčkovo square

The subject of my thesis is the project-level documentation for the building location on the roundabout on Vojackovo namesti in Prostejov. Current condition create light controlled crosroad of roads II/150 and III/44934. In this thesis was examinated several options and for selected option was elaborated capacity assessment. For the final shape of new designed crossroad, wich is technically elaborated Attached are the text and drawing documentation in accordance with all legal and technical standards.

Town planing study "Zbrojovka"

The aim of this thesis is a revitalization of the grounds once belonging to Zbrojovka Brno. These grounds are in the zoning map defined as “brownfield”. Within Brno’s limits, the area has an extremely convenient location. Since the grounds are situated in the central part of Brno, the complex is in terms of traffic and transport in the vicinity of both, the current and the newly planned ring-road. Important factors influencing the project are the river Svitava which borders the west side of the area, and a railroad corridor skirting the east side of the location. Assigned area was, for the purposes of this thesis, expanded by the grounds once belonging to Zetor and the adjoining area towards Markéty Kuncové Street. Several buildings from the former grounds, which fit in into the urban concept and were in good technical conditions, have been preserved. From a functional point of view, the newly designed grounds will meet all the requirements for a fully independent municipal district. The multifunctional development contains primarily housing complexes, administrative buildings, public facilities, recreational areas, as well as other functional structures. The urban concept of this project is a result of a study of surrounding blocks. Based on an analysis of the size and height of these buildings, an idealized block was designed and then recreated into a symmetrical raster of blocks with the street width of 20m. This raster was subsequently applied to newly designed points of entry into the area. Total urban and mass proposal of the development areahas been further influenced by principal conceptual points. Among these conceptual points belong the perspective axes which connect the conceptual points with an orientation point, in this case the former factory’s smokestack. Creating a new arm for the Svitava River is another point. Taking into account that the whole vicinity of the factory grounds is without quality public greenery elements.

Reconstruction of the intersection in Ústí nad Orlicí - nám. Svobody

The aim of this bachelor thesis is a change of the existing crossroad in Svoboda Square in Ústí nad Orlicí. The current state of the crossroad is inconvenient from a traffic safety point of view. It is problematic when the cars turn into 17 Listopadu Street from Tvardkova Street and hinder the cars going into Tvardkova Street from Letohradská Street. Furthermore, the location of the bus station is inappropriate and pedestrians who cross the street are in danger. The content of this thesis is to propose improvements of clarity by the construction of the roundabout.

Study of Transfer Terminal in Ivančice

My task in Bachelor´s Thesis is to examine the position of transfer terminal IDS in Ivančice. This task includes designing a new railway platform and new bus station near the railway crossing with the road number II/152 in km 5,535 000 nearby the railway station Ivančice. I assume that the passanger transport will end in the railway station Ivančice in the new terminal. The Railway to Oslavany will continue as a spur. My work consist in processing of 3 different variants. It is nesseseary to ensure sufficient capacity for 7 bus lines and 1 railway line. It is also important to provide adequate facilities and comfortable acces for travelers. I also deal with wheelchair sidewalks, crossworks and ramps. I try to solve the problem with high intensity of car and truck transport in centre of Ivančice. In my design is outlined design of new bypass road which will be led in the present railway corridor.
