The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide a theoretical background for GUI testing, to perform market analysis of tools that are available for GUI testing and to demonstrate practically GUI testing using one selected tool. The goals in the first part are achieved through the analysis of scientific literature, scientific articles and Internet sources. In the second part of this work it was necessary to manage the practical aspects of testing and to take over the analysis of the current market for testing GUI applications. The benefit of this work is a summary of theoretical knowledge about the particular topic, current overview of available tools and practical demonstration of one testing tool. The work is divided into two parts. The aim of the theoretical part is to clarify and define the basic concepts and issues. The practical part focuses on mapping the tool market and practical demonstration of GUI testing using the Abbot tool.

It is analysis of system interface from pedagogic employees' point of view and it is not intended to be complex analysis of the entire system. The first part of thesis concerns about situation on the University of Economics in Prague before implementation of present ISIS and consequently describes events leading to its implementation. Middle part describes user interface in dependence on assigned pedagogic roles. The final part of this thesis contains description and results of questionnaire which was sent to all pedagogic employees of Faculty of Informatics and Statistics. In dependence on answers it describes main suggestions of pedagogues on functionality of ISIS. Creating of e-commerce and goods presentation
Náhlovská, Klára ; Šedivá, Zuzana (advisor) ; Maryška, Miloš (referee)
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is the creation of ecommerce. Another objective is present to readers the possibility of making their own ecommerce focused on opensource solutions. The last objective is to familiarize readers with the principles of product photography of goods offered in this ecommerce. The choice of solution for creating ecommerce was conducted in cooperation with representatives of companies implementing ecommerce, with experts involved in creating ecommerce and information sources from the internet. Product photography took place at the home studio and was created by me. The most important assets of this thesis is the implementation of ecommerce. It is an extension of view for readers in the section of ecommerce and product photography. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part, I deal with theoretical way of choosing the best ecommerce possible solutions. Then I focus on the chosen option, open-source solutions. Based on selected criteria, I'm selecting the best opensource content management system implemented for the owners of ecommerce. Furthermore, I deal with graphics and its impact on web design and then about product photography principles. The second part describes actual creation of electronic commerce. I focus here mainly on presentation of the goods and its impact on users. It goes on with creation of product photography. The third section focuses on design testing by independent ecommerce users. Those should be able to identify other possible inconsistencies that must be implemented to improve the user interface. Furthermore, this section deals with comparing the competitiveness of goods, including its impact on users of electronic commerce to electronic commerce competition. The result of ecommerce creation is recommendation how to create quality ecommerce with low budget.

User interface design tools
Honová, Veronika ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Benáčanová, Helena (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to characterize and evaluate WYSIWYG tools used in user interface design of desktop applications and then to select the best tool. In order to achieve this goal it is first necessary to define a terminology in the problem domain of the user interface design and afterwards to specify the evaluation criteria and their weights of the tools assessment. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part explains terms like user interface, application, WYSIWYG technologies and describes the basic principles of user interface design. The practical part defines criteria for evaluation of tools used in design of user interface and characterizes selected tools. The last chapter of the practical part contains final assessment of the selected tools and the best tool is chosen. The tools chosen for evaluation are GUI Design Studio, Microsoft Expression Blend, Microsoft Office Visio, Java GUI Builder and Balsamiq Mockup. Evaluation criteria that have been selected are license, price, availability of trial version, the quality of information on the website, support, Czech localization, friendly user interface and functionality. Weights of criteria are based on one of the methods of the multi-criteria decision analysis. Contribution of this thesis can be found in evaluation of selected tools used in design of user interface and thus in comparison of several different tools.
The web analysis and design methodology MANW
Karlec, Jakub ; Gála, Libor (advisor) ; Kafka, Daniel (referee)
The main subject of this thesis is to prepare the web analysis and design methodology, MANW. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to the definition of the methodological framework on the basis of which the methodology will be built. The framework comes out from the methodological framework MEFIS which has been accustomed to comply with specific needs of the web application and websites development. The second part of the thesis is dedicated to the research of existing methodologies for web project implementation. Based on the research, the elements of the methodologies suitable for analysis and design are selected and then incorporated into the MANW methodology. The last part of the thesis is the description of the methodology itself and description of its characteristics and elements. The goal of the diploma thesis is to prepare a simple methodology for websites and web applications analysis and design which can be used in agile web development. The methodology is described by its phases, processes, roles, inputs and outputs and other elements which are defined in the elaborated methodological framework. The output of methodology processes are the data for implementation, deployment and operation of web solutions. It was necessary to define the term methodology and define a methodological framework first in order to work out the methodology itself successfully. Another starting point for methodology design was the research of existing methodologies which also serves as an introduction to the problems of web projects implementation and provides an overview of existing tools. Output of the thesis is the MANW methodology which is a synthesis of the working experience and of a methodological framework theory. This methodology is easily modifiable and thanks to the clear process definition it can provide the companies with an effective solution of web products analysis and design.
Problems and Options of User Interface
Boučková, Jana ; Horný, Stanislav (advisor) ; Krsek, Libor (referee)
This diploma thesis is dedicated to the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), which covers user friendliness, usability and further aspects of interaction between computer and a human. According to the assumptions of author this field is not favourably promoted during the educational process of the Czech IT experts at Czech universities. Knowledge of HCI is one of the crucial factors of development of effective information systems. The first key part of this thesis contains evaluation of education in HCI at Czech universities. In the second key part the author proposes a subject of HCI, which could be thought at Czech universities. Finally the reached goals are compared with the set ones.
