Moving Object Detection in the Environment of Mobile Robot
Dorotovič, Viktor ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Veľas, Martin (advisor)
This work's aim is movement detection in the environment of a robot, that may move itself. A 2D occupancy grid representation is used, containing only the currently visible environment, without filtering in time. Motion detection is based on a grid-based particle filter introduced by Tanzmeister et al. in Grid-based Mapping and Tracking in Dynamic Environments using a Uniform Evidential Environment Representation. The system was implemented in the Robot Operating System, which allows for re-use of modules which the solution is composed of. The KITTI Visual Odometry dataset was chosen as a source~of LiDAR data for experiments, along with ground-truth pose information. Ground segmentation based on Loopy Belief Propagation was used to filter the point clouds. The implemeted motion detector is able to distiguish between static and dynamic vehicles in this dataset. Further tests in a simulated environment have shown some shortcomings in the detection of large continuous moving objects.
Embedded video processing for surveillance systems
Gerych, Lukáš ; Polák, Ladislav (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis includes the design and implementation of embedded system to capture static scenes and image evaluation for the surveillance system. It is performed on a tiny computer Raspberry Pi with ARM processor. Methods are provided for various types of detection in the image and their implementation using OpenCV libraries. It also deals with ways to access the system for the control and viewing records of detections.
CCTV system controller including motion-detection feature
Wirth, Michal ; Horáček, Jan (advisor) ; Dupej, Ján (referee)
The object of this work is to design and implement an application for managing a smaller surveillance system. There are analyzed several ways of it's possible arrangement. After then an appropriate application's architecture is designed based on discovered facts. Implemented system is introduced from user's point of view and also in a more technical sense. There is also a research of algorithms for real-time detection of moving objects within static scenes. Introduced ones are implemented, measured for their efficiency and compared with each other.
Augmented Reality Using Video from a Stationary Camera
Lagová, Lenka ; Szentandrási, István (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of creating applications of augmented reality. There are described types of augmented reality, problems associated with developing of applications of this kind. Also there is description of method for detection of moving objects from the record of stationary camera. The thesis deals with camera calibration using knowledge of scene geometry. Scene editor for scene geometry estimation is included in this work. Augmented reality is represented by physical simulations, where object from virtual reality interacts with detected objects and with objects defined in scene editor.
Motion Detection in Video
Půček, Petr ; Bartl, Vojtěch (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with motion detection in video recorded on stationary camera. It describes the process of solution and implementation of motion detection app on Windows platform using OpenCV library for image processing. These principles of image analysis and processing can be used in any other systems.
Motion Detection in Video
Polanský, Petr ; Sochor, Jakub (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The objective of this work is evaluate motion detection using Gaussian Mixture Model. When algorithm detects motion, it creates short video capturing this motion and visualizing it properly. Visualization is made by white pixels intensity graph. System is applicable on less busy area when motion is more noticeable. Results of this work shows how surrounding environment and camera position influence detection.
Analysis of Parking Availability
Stránský, Václav ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Marvan, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis deals with an analysis of parking availability. The task is to determine the occupancy of predefined parking places in the sequence of color images acquired by a fixed camera. The thesis describes the design, implementation, and testing of three utilized methods for car detection, i.e. background modelling, edge detection, and histogram comparison. These methods are combined in order to obtain a more robust and accurate solution. The proposed system has been successfully tested on several real scenarios.
Object Tracking in a Sequence of Images
Švancar, Boris ; Doležel, Michal (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with motion detection and object tracking in video sequence from static and dynamic cameras. The background subtraction method along with using of background updating and Lucas-Kanade optical flow method are introduced in my thesis as well. Both methods are implemented in the test application in the language C++ using OpenCV and Qt libraries and consequently both of them are tested. The results are evaluated in conclusion of the bachelor thesis.
Motion Detection in Video Sequences
Chadim, Petr ; Štancl, Vít (referee) ; Švub, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis deal with a problem of motion detection in video sequence. The basic principle of method Bacground subtraction and the algorithm for searching differences between frames were described in details. Great attention is made for actualization of referential frame. Part of this thesis is a localization of motion object. The result of this thesis is an application for testing of motion detector in different environments.
Moving Objects Detection in Video Sequences
Musil, Jakub ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This publication is dedicated to creating appliaction for motion detection in video sequence. There is summary of several possible methods to solve this matter in theoretical and practical point of view with postive and negative properties. This methods are histograms subtraction and subtraction of each pixel in the tested frame. Fundamental part of this publication is application for motion detection. There are many of tests for created detector for several type moving object included in input video sequence. Results are intimately describe.
