Techologie výroby syrovátkových sýrů
Škopíková, Miroslava
This thesis on production technology of whey cheeses, deals with whey as a by-product that results in the production of cheese and curd. Widely applies in both the food production and the other industries. Content of this work is basic chemical composition of whey, whey production, basic technological operations in the modification of whey and the incurred products, a brief list of the use of whey and finally there are listed the most famous whey cheeses and a brief description of their production.

Design and Implementation of the Spad Filesystem
Patočka, Mikuláš ; Zavoral, Filip (advisor) ; Matyska, Luděk (referee) ; Badica, Costin (referee) ; Višňovský, Stanislav (referee)
This thesis describes design and implementation of the Spad filesystem. I present my novel method for maintaining filesystem consistency - crash counts. I describe architecture of other filesystems and present my own design decisions in directory management, file allocation information, free space management, block allocation strategy and filesystem checking algorithm. I experimentally evaluate performance of the filesystem. I evaluate performance of the same filesystem on two different operating systems, enabling the reader to make a conclusion on how much the performance of various tasks is affected by operating system and how much by physical layout of data on disk.

Analysis of the subsurface struckutes location in representative transections of the research catchments
DUBEC, Štěpán
This theses is focused on the description of subsurface in the area of interest - Kopaninský and Jenínský stream catchment - and consequently thy most accurate interpretation depth of impermeable bedrock. Geophysical multicable metod (ERT - electrical resistivity tomography") was selected for field measurements. This method of geophysical survey provides the information on subsurface structures, verifies hypotheses and brings new information on the lithological and structural conditions below the surface. ERT measurements were performed automatically by geoelektrical ARES device in combination with inteligent electrodes. The data obtained by field measurements were plotter in the form of resistive sections (using ReS2DInv software) which were used for the later interpretation. The given results determine the depth and process of impermeable bedrock which are important for more accurate data inputs like for modeling rainfall-runoff processes especially in the field of calibration and validation of each adjustment of models as well as for the next other hydrogical analyzes and studies carried out in the research projects. The purpose of this work is to determine the depth of impermeable bedrock and could serve as a data input for MIKE SHE hydrological modeling.

Lifestyle of student PF JU
CÍSAŘOVSKÁ, Kateřina
Bachelors work describes life style of student, which are studying teaching branch at the university in daily studying. This work studies aspects of their life style from the perspective of health science. It is worked on the assumption that future teachers will work in school institutions, they will have to develop all of aspects pupils´ personality and they will be models for them. In this work there are presented basic concepts, which are concerned of life style: health, life style, individual parts of life style, and defined roles of future teacher. Research section finds through a quantitative research strategies through a questionnaire what is the students life style and tries to answer the questions: "Is their life style healthy? Are students satisfied with their life style? What is their optimal thriving?" The final result of this work is description of discovered attitudes to life style.

The Technology of cultivation and fertilization sweet stevia (Stevia rebaudiana) and its use
KÁBELOVÁ, Lenka
This bachelor thesis is focused on growing Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni. It is a plant that is 300 times sweeter than sucrose. It is used as a compensation for ordinary sugar beet, as a low-calorie sweetener that is suitable for diabetics and people who are overweight. The botanical description and the chemical composition is compiled, and a sweetener from Stevia labeled as E960 steviosid is introduced. The whole phenological growth of Stevia at home conditions is photo-documented. Stevia is used in many fields. Mostly it is used as a sweetener in dried or fresh state and often in liquid extract form, too. It is also used in medicine to treat injuries because of its antibacterial effects. It has positive influence on treating herpes and mouth ulcers, and it prevents from bad breath. Nowadays, it is more and more used and it is becoming a favourite dietary supplement.

Comparison of virtualization systems technologies
SLÁDEK, Lukáš
This bachelor thesis deals with the description of virtualization technology systems commonly used in IT practice. It discusses basic concepts, defines the term virtualization. The larger part is devoted to analysis of the principles on which the virtualization works. We can find here the concept of hardware virtualization, software virtualization, paravirtualization, hypervisor and other. All of these concepts are explained. The following is a description of products that are in common practice used to virtualization, including the description of their architecture and components of virtualization systems. Three representatives of hardware virtualization are described in detail -- VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, Xen Hypervisor and two representatives of the software virtualization -- Oracle VM VirtualBox and VMware Workstation as well. These five products are tested and evaluated in the last part of the thesis. Based on the overall benchmarking are systems approximately the same performance, but in particular tests we can find differences.

Diseases caused by ionizing radiation and their prevention
Hřib, Zdeněk ; Hrnčíř, Evžen (advisor)
3 SUMMARY The text summarizes some of the newest knowledge about effects of the ionizing radiation on various levels of the biological systems and recent recommendations for radiological protection. First chapter of this diploma work gives a brief definition of ionizing radiation, possible sources, summary of its interactions with matter and description of the dosimetric quantities. Second chapter focuses on biological effects of the ionizing radiation. With development of micro-beam technology, the newest research has finally confirmed the assumption of DNA as the main target cell structure for ionizing radiation damage. Apart from well known stochastic effects (cancerogenic and those, causing hereditary and chronic diseases) caused by non-lethal cell damage and organ and tissue reaction (formerly known as non-stochastic or deterministic effect, eg. acute radiation syndrome, acute local damage, chronic radiodermatitis and cataract) caused by lethal cell damage also issues like low dose threshold, in utero exposure risk and newest recommendations for weighting factors are discussed here. Last chapter is dedicated to targets and principles of radiological protection for patients, workers and other population.

Specifics and problems of arab economies with particular reference to the economy of Kuwait.
Beníšek, Stanislav ; Stuchlíková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Němečková, Tereza (referee)
This bachelor thesis is divided into two main sections. The first section deals with the description of specifics and differences of arab economies. These differences can be seen in almost all areas of life and have a great influence on the economy of arab states. The second section is concerned with analysis of these specific on example of a little arab state -- Kuwait. The task of the second section is to find out if these differences pose problems or the barriers to successful economic development as well. After identification of the problematic areas, their possible solution is presented at the last section of the paper.

Štěrba, Martin ; Plášková, Alena (advisor) ; Jírovcová, Lenka (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to assess benefits of implemented quality management system in GEFCO ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA s.r.o. and to propose possibilities of its further improvements by analysis of data provided by the company. The work starts with the explanation of its theoretical background, methods and conclusions of the three reference studies then follow an overview of company's quality management system, trends in selected indicators and the identification of tangible benefits of implementation using a questionnaire for comprehensive self-assessment according to ISO 10014. The ISO certification has had provably positive impacts, in the frame of a positive economic trend, particularly in the areas of customer focus and continual improvement. In the end author suggests, among other proposals for improvement, mainly to implement sophisticated intranet application and Balanced Scorecard.
