Low cycle fatigue of EN-AW 7075 aluminium alloy
Bártková, Denisa ; Liškutín, Petr (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is analysis of low-cycle fatigue of wrought alluminium alloy EN-AW 7075. In theoretical part of thesis, current facts about alluminium alloys and fatigue behaviour of material are summarized. Practical part contains evaluation of tension tests and analysis of experiments in low-cycle fatigue region. In additional, the microstructure of an alloy was observed.
Low cycle fatigue behaviour of cast magnesium alloy AZ61.
Kaňová, Monika ; Gejdoš, Pavel (referee) ; Zapletal, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis ai dealing with the finding of cyclic plasticity and the low cycle - fatigue behavior of magnesium alloy AZ61. Alloy was cast via squeeze casting method. In addition to fatigue properties was observed microstructure of the alloy and was measured the basic mechanical properties of the alloy.
Mechanical and structural proterties of Al-alloy die-castings
Podzámsky, Ján ; Cupák, Petr (referee) ; Staňková, Markéta (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to write technical recherche about mechanical and structural properties of Al-alloys die-castings with practical part intent on porosity. Thesis contains basic information essential for understanding the problem as a whole and provides smooth transition to the main point of the problem as well as wider view on practices related to die-casting.
Study of the main factors affecting quality in technological processes
Talanda, Ivan ; Nová, Iva (referee) ; Čech, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to theoretically describe porosity problems of casts of aluminium alloys that are made via die casting technology. The thesis is focused on influence of porosity on mechanical properties of casts. Theoretical dependencies were verified in experiment, which is based on new measured data and data witch were taken from diploma theses and science articles written by other students of the University of Technology in Brno. The samples used in experiment come from engine blocks, which were made by technology of die casting or die casting with local squeeze casting.
Optimation of wax pattern manufacture - wax mixtures and its testing
Koběrský, František ; Kosour, Vojtěch (referee) ; Horáček, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with a general description and distribution of waxes and wax mixtures for investment casting in the first part. The second part is devoted to descriptions of various mechanical and physical properties of waxes and their testing.
Mechanical Properties of Plastics
Suchý, Marek ; Němec, Karel (referee) ; Molliková, Eva (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the plastics in terms of their internal structures. Analyzes the impact of these characteristics on the resulting mechanical properties of materials. Furthermore, examining the external influences significantly on the polymer chain operates. Concludes two basic methods for the detection of mechanical properties - tensile test and 3-point bend tests.
Structure and properties of die-cast AZ91 magnesium alloy castings
Růžička, Josef ; Juliš, Martin (referee) ; Doležal, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with evaluation of the casting characteristics effect die casting Mg alloys AZ91 of aspect temper optimal mechanical properties, structure and foundry defect ratio.
Comparison of selected mechanical properties of aluminum alloys and structural steels
Belháč, Jakub ; Svoboda, Pavel (referee) ; Vlašic, František (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor´s thesis is a description of selected mechanical properties of metal materials and their comparison within aluminium alloys and constructional steels. The most common mechanical tests to quantify the mechanical properties are described here. The mechanical properties of constructional steels and aluminium alloys are separately described in subsequent chapters as well as their division and possibilities of application. The connection between structure, chemical composition and mechanical properties depending on a heat-treating process is shown.
Influence of Temperature on Mechanical Properties of Alloy AlZn4Mg.
Slouka, Marek ; Podrábský, Tomáš (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with mechanical properties of a chosen aluminium alloy which is specified to preform. It is the alloy AlZn4Mg. Aluminium alloys are the most used constructive materials after iron alloys in this time. The importence of this alloys is great for their unique properties, e. g. a low density, a good corrosion - resistant, a good weldability in protective atmospheres. At first the Aluminium alloys mainly alloys of the high strength Al-Zn-Mg are described generally. Then this thesis is concerned with mechanical properties of the alloy AlZn4Mg in increased temperature. There is little information of this alloy in increased temperature in accessible scientific literature. This thesis completes the clear space in this branch.
Determination of Mechanical Properties and Structural Evaluation of the Alloy AZ31 with Different Content of Calcium
Horynová, Miroslava ; Pacal, Bohumil (referee) ; Podrábský, Tomáš (advisor)
Mechanical properties of magnesium alloy AZ31 with different content of calcium were compared in this bachelor thesis. Specimens contain 0,5 wt%, 1 wt%, 2 wt% Ca and one of them was free of calcium. Specimens with 1 wt% and 2 wt% of calcium were heat treated to match them up with as fabricated alloy. The thesis presents information about chemical composition and resultes of tensile and hardness tests. Microstructures of alloys recorded on the light microscopy pictures are included as well.
