Solder Joint Conductivity - Influence of Solder Volume and Isothermal Aging
Mach, Ladislav ; Schnederle, Petr (referee) ; Starý, Jiří (advisor)
The master thesis analyses electrical conductivity of lead-free solder joints. The test method design for monitoring the electrical conductivity of the soldered joint is described in the practical part. Simulated BGA package with four pin (BGA4) is used for experiments. Tested PCBs are subjected to isothermal aging and current load. During isothermal aging is measured electrical conductivity and optical microscope is used for intermetallic layer (IMC) growth observation. Two types of surface finish (OSP and ENIG) are used for tests and three diameters of solder terminal balls (solder alloy SAC405). The influence of the ratio area connection / solder volume (ratio S / V) on lead-free solder joints conductivity was evaluated.
Gel polymer electrolytes for supercapacitors
Bláha, Vladimír ; Musil, Michal (referee) ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with supercapacitors and polymer gel electrolytes. The practical part deals with the preparation of samples of polymer gel electrolyte with addition of alkali salts by measuring their electrical conductivity and evaluation potential windows.
Electrical conduction of alternative electroinsulating liquids
Reňák, Ladislav ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
This labor deals with features of alternative electrical insulating liquids and also petroleum-base liquids. It examines their usage in the electrotechnical industry. The practical part of the thesis deals with measurement of absorption charakteristics of biodegradable electrical insulating liquid MIDEL 7131 and the petroleum - based transformer oil TRAFO N. The results of the measurement are examined by the help of substitutional math function.

Bárta, Vladimír ; Musil, Michal (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This work deals with the measurement of electrical conductivity and mechanical properties of gel polymer electrolyte containing Lithium ion and their preparation. The theoretical part deals with the development of gel polymer electrolyte, their use and methods of measurement of electrical conductivity and mechanical properties. In the experimental part describes the preparation of gel electrolyte, the measurement of electrical conductivity, temperature dependence and the measurement of mechanical properties.
Solder Joint Electric Conductivity and Solder Joint Reliability
Lačný, Radek ; Stejskal, Petr (referee) ; Starý, Jiří (advisor)
This work is considered about changes of electric conductivity in lead-free soldered joint's affected by current and thermal stress. The theoretical part describes factors influencing the solder joint electric conductivity and solder joint reliability. The basis of the practical part is the design of the testing method of the soldered joint's electric conductivity. The aim of this part is to measure and observe changes of solder joint electric conductivity after current and thermal stress in various material a procedural combinations.
Diagnostics of electroinsulating liquids properties
Makówka, Tomasz ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the liquid insulators, their properties and their use in the electrical industry. The general aim is to study the physical essence of the dynamic viscosity, the electric conductivity and the diagnostic methods for monitoring these variables. The experimental part contains measuring the dynamic viscosity and the electric conductivity of the mineral transformer oils ESTO BNX, RENOLIN ELTEC and the biodegradable oil MIDEL 7131 during the degradation. The Walden rule is applied on measured results.
The influence of photochromic reaction on optoelectrical properties of organic semiconductors
Heinrichová, Patricie ; Weiter, Martin (referee) ; Vala, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on study of electric and optoelectric properties of conjugated polymers. The theoretical part describes the relationship between molecular structure of conjugated materials and their chosen macroscopic physical properties like absorption of visible and ultraviolet radiation, electrical conductivity and photoconductivity. This part also describes photochromism and its utilization for construction of light driven current switch. The experimental part studies this switch based on change of photochromic species dipole moment dispersed in conjugated conducting polymer. The active switching unit is represented by photochromic spiropyran 1’,3’-dihydro-1’,3’,3’-trimethyl-6-nitrospiro[2H-1-benzopyran-2,2’-(2H)-indol] which is dispersed in conjugated conducting polymer poly[2-methoxy-5-(3',7'-dimethyloctyloxy)-1,4-phenylene-vinylen]. The influence of the photochromic conversion on the polymer matrix was studied by absorption spectroscopy, current-voltage measurements and spectrally resolved steady state photoconductivity and transient photoconductivity.
Using of fractal theory for the determination of density of energetic states in organic semiconductors
Florián, Pavel ; Nešpůrek, Stanislav (referee) ; Zmeškal, Oldřich (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with the basics of fractal physics and its use in research of electrical and dielectric properties of organic semiconductors. Theoretical part contains the basic fractal physics equations and their applications to electrical parameters (Fermi level, density of electric charge). Practical work includes the results of measurements of Amper-Volt characteristics of samples of organic semiconductors, and determines their physical parameters (Fermi level, concentration of charge carriers in substance).
