Automotive differentials
Zavadil, Roman ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with differentials used in cars. The thesis contains a comprehensive set of knowledge about differentials used in cars and introduces the reader to the issue of differentials in terms of construction, disassembly and their simplified creation. The first part of the thesis divides differentials according to construction and clarifies their function. The second part deals with the disassembly of the final drive case with a bevel differential. The final third part describes the creation of a spur-type differential model.
Personal car differentals
Csémi, András ; Kloss, Ondřej (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the topic of car differentials with special attention to self-locking differentials. The first part is dedicated to the description of the powertrain. Then the main part is about the differentials, their division, the description of the constructions and the principle of function, with a focus on self-locking types. The aim of the thesis was to create a summary of self-locking differentials.
Human Powered Vehicle Differential
Andrlík, Ladislav ; Kloss, Ondřej (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is the design of the differential of a road vehicle driven by a human force, intended for daily driving in the city with a focus on older users. The vehicle for which the differential is designed is strictly a pedal tricycle. The introduction of this thesis briefly outlines the history of pedal tricycles. The second chapter explains some technical terms relating to tricycles and bicycles in general. Further chapters of the research part describe the current structures of tricycles, the principle of a differential function in motor vehicles and design possibilities of the differential for pedal tricycles. The practical part of my work includes the design of a differential for pedal tricycle, the strength analysis of selected parts of the differential, drawings of the differential assembly, production drawings of selected parts and proposal of the torque transfer from pedals to the differential.
Homotopické struktury v algebře, geometrii a matematické fyzice
Černohorská, Eva ; Markl, Martin (advisor) ; Somberg, Petr (referee)
Title: Homotopic structures in algebra, geometry and mathematical physics Author: Eva Černohorská Department: Mathematical Institute of Charles University Supervisor: RNDr. Martin Markl, DrSc., Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Mathematical Institute of Charles University Abstract: The aim of this thesis was to generalize the result that associative algebras on finite dimensional vector spaces can be described using differentials on free algebras. This result is limited by the duality of vector spaces. If we assume that the underlying space has a linear topology, then we can use the duality between discrete and linearly compact (profinite) vector spaces. To generalize the notion of an algebra, we need to recall the completed tensor product on linear vector spaces. Since this topics does not seem to be sufficiently covered by the literature, this thesis could serve also as a comprehensive text on linear vector spaces and their completed tensor products. We prove that also A∞ structures on linearly compact vector spaces could be represented by differentials on a free algebra. Keywords: Strongly homotopy associative algebra, linear topological vector space, Pontryagin duality, completed tensor product, differential
Conception of terrain vehicles UTV
Máca, Jiří ; Vopařil, Jan (referee) ; Kučera, Pavel (advisor)
This review type bachelor thesis is dealing with conceptual solutions of Utility terrain vehicles. Individual chapters are describing main functional groups and different options of their construction. These options are analysed in terms of suitability for given application in utility and sport terrain vehicles, their manufacturing complexity and costs. Specific vehicles are mentioned only marginally.
Formula Student Drivetrain
Odehnal, Jakub ; Svída, David (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
This master‘s thesis describes design of Formula Student Drivetrain, car evolution Dragon 4 and Dragon 5. There is shown an overview of the drivetrain parts used in category Formula Student. On that basis is made the new concept of drivetrain for the each car. Major focus is placed on the design of the differential mounting and chain tensioning mechanism. For the selected components was made stress analysis by FEM.
Automatic Locking Differential
Kimlová, Anna ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis consists of two parts. The first one contains a research about different kinds of divorces in tractors. There is also a description of a modelling in MATLAB, Simulink and Stateflow programs. The second part focuses on designing an algorithm of an automatic locking differential and connection front-wheel drive and its testing on a model of tractor. Furthermore the thesis solves an implementation process of the algorithm into the control unit.
Drivetrain of Formula Dragon 3
Matajsz, Petr ; Janoušek, Michal (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the structural design of the drivetrain for the formula Dragon 3. There is shown an overview of the most common design solutions used in the category Formula Student. On that basis is made my own concept of the drivetrain. Major focus is placed on the design of the final drive, differential mounting including chain tensioning mechanism and design of related components. For the designed components was made stress analysis by FEM.
Formula SAE Drivetrain
Tovaryš, Miroslav ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design process of Formula SAE drivetrain. Different design possibilities were described and after that were the suitable designs chosen to be used in the team car. Then were the design parameters determined. The design of the differential gear mounting was created and it’s stress analysis was done.
Design of limited slip differential of racing engine
Kresta, Vojtěch ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
The thesis concentrates on the design of limited slip differential of the racing car. It describes the method of designing the model of space for differential, using the 3D ATOS scanner and Pro/ENGINEER software environment. The next part of the thesis illustrates the process of designing the model of mass-produced open differential. The main attention is paid to the design of both versions of clutch limited slip differential and also to the analysis of problematic issues of each analyzed component. Further on, there is a stress analysis of some selected parts: pressure ring, differential case and their comparison before and after their optimization.
