Title: Case Report: Physiotherapeutic Treatment of a Patient Diagnosed with a Bimalleolar Ankle Fracture Thesis goal: The goal of this thesis is to present a theoretical outline of a bimalleolar ankle fracture diagnosis and a practical survey of the respective conservative medical treatment. The material and evidence required for these were gathered during a practical training experience in Kladno hospital. Methodology: The theoretical part of this thesis includes theoretical matter from the fields of anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics, traumatology, and types of physiotherapeutic treatment of bimalleolar ankle fracture. The following special part of this thesis discusses the methodology, collects anamnesis data and includes the initial kinesiologic check-up on the basis of which a suitable therapy and a short-term physiotherapeutic schedule was designed. This part of the thesis further consists of an account of individual therapeutic procedures and of the final kinesiologic check-up which is compared to the initial check-up. In conclusion, there follows an argumentation of the efficiency of the chosen physiotherapeutic methods. Key words: physiotherapy, case report, ankle joint, fracture

In a special section has been selected to develop a case study patient during work placements. Method: The general part of bachelors thesis contains a theoretical knowledge of kinesiology lumbar spine, as well as disorders of the axial system and diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to the back pain issue. The practical part includes the case of a patient diagnosed with the syndrome lumboischiadic S1 irritation. Results: Alleviate pain, improve overall fitness and mental condition. Case study of physiotherapy treatment after reosteosynthesis of the femur
Plíšková, Lucie ; Nováková, Kateřina (advisor) ; Veselá, Irma (referee)
Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient after reosteosynthesis of the femur Objectives: Primary objective of this work is learning about all aspects concerning the osteosynthesis exchange; to gain the theoretical knowledge from literature and to demonstrate the special skills on a specific patient. I have made the review in theoretical part; I focused primary on the fracture, complication of fractures, and intramedullary nailing. I have described a case study with the specific patient in the practical part. Methods: I have learnt the theory dealing with orthopaedic and traumatology and I extended my understanding of physiotherapy in rehabilitation. I studied the diagnosis of a particular patient, interviewed him and collected anamnestic data. I made kineziology analysis. I applied the therapy; I minimalised the consequence of the surgery he underwent. I made closing kineziology analysis at the end of therapy. I compared both analyses. Results: I evaluated the results in the chapter Effect of therapy. The swelling of the operated extremity was succesfully removed. Full articular extent was reached by this extremity. I positively supported muscle power, it raised through the therapy. The patient is self- sufficient and he is able to walk on crutches. Keywords: femur, fracture,...
