Návrh stabilizace břehu v oblasti Osada, nádrž Brno
Třeštík, Tomáš
This thesis deals with abrasion of Brno reservoir at the position Osada. As a part of the work I calculated the abrasion terminanty through which the prognosis of the shoreline retreat is defined. Due to need of stabilizating of the shoreline and preventing the further shoreline retreat I proposed various solutions of situation by implementing active antiabrasion stabilization. I propose and describe six types of soluting stabilization of particular features and their optional combination in the area of concern. These measures are designed to prevent, or at least significantly slow down, another shoreline abrasion of the Brno valley reservoir
Návrh stabilizace abrazí porušených břehů - údolní nádrž Brno
Hašpica, Radek
This Bachelor thesis concentrates on proposal of stabilizations damaged shores abrasions, which are situated in valley dam Brno. The author focuses on concrete location Osada, as well as on concrete part of shore. In the beginning is processed covering message, processing general proposal of shores stabilization and after that technical report. There are stated hydrological calculations after that, description of own designs of the author for stabilization shores in given locality. For processed photodocumentation, maps and drawing outputs please find attached.
Mortar with alkali-activated matrix
Černá, Hana ; Hela, Rudolf (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
The thesis addresses the issue of alkali-activated materials and their manufacturing components. In the theoretical part the description of such materials is provided and the requirements for source materials are defined. The theoretical part further addresses the resistance of alkali-activated materials and their lifespan - namely sulphate resistance, chloride resistance, acid resistance, frost resistance, porosity, carbonation, resistance, abrasion resistance and heat resistance. The experimental part of the thesis focuses on compounding four different mixtures of alkali-activated materials. In the loosened stage, the weight was measured. In the hardened stage the weight was measured as well as the tensile strength when bending, the strength under pressure applied, heat resistance, water and defrosting chemicals resistance and formation of cracks.
Slurry surfacing - composition and quality issue
Dostál, Filip ; Koudelka, Tomáš (referee) ; Hýzl, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is focused on slurry surfacing technology, particularly on microsurfacing. The theoretical part describes the differences between the slurry seal and microsurfacing. Ingredients for the production and laying. There are also described their advantages. The practical part presents proposal of mixture and demonstrate that the service of life of the emulsion mixture is closely related to the content of residual binder and composition of microsurface.
Causes and consequences of human tooth wear
Ibrová, Alexandra ; Velemínská, Jana (advisor) ; Stránská, Petra (referee)
During individual's life is human dentition affected by tooth wear. There are various causes of human tooth wear and dentition of every individual is affected during lifetime. Dental wear occurs in dentition of both recent and past populations. Tooth wear can be caused by diet, geographical and climatic conditions where the population lives in, or by specific behaviour. In past populations is the type of tooth wear important information for reconstruction of lifestyle of these populations. In recent populations is tooth wear associated mainly with diet and dental hygiene, and the research in this area deals with the question, how to protect the dentition from damage. Human tooth wear plays a special role in diagnostics of eating disorders. The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to describe abrasion, attrition and erosion, and summarize causes and consequences of human tooth wear of recent and past populations.
Wear regimes of aluminium alloys
Slivka, Václav ; Zapletal, Tomáš (referee) ; Šperka, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the research of the wear regimes of the selected aluminium alloy in the conditions of dry friction. The aim of this work is the evaluation of the measure of an abrasive and adhesive wear of this alloy. This evaluation is made from the experiments which are made on the base of the knowledge of the research study. The dependence of the wear on the sliding speed and load, the friction on the sliding speed and load and the dependence of the normalised pressure on the normalised speed, so called the map of wear, are given on the base of the results of the measure.
Determining the prognosis retreat of bank line of the selected section of the bank of the dam Brno
Doušková, Zuzana ; Pelikán,, Petr (referee) ; Šlezingr, Miloslav (advisor)
Master thesis aims to assessment of abrasion on banks of valley reservoir Brno. There was photodocumentation done and current conditions of abraded banks assessed during field survey. There was variables required to detect bottom of brasion cliff and maximal teoretical shift of bank line in the solved location calculated. There was suggested totaly nine types of precaution against other shift of bank line in cross-sections of abraded banks.
Návrh rekonstrukce doprovodné vegetace vodního toku
Holíková, Marie
This diploma thesis describes the project of watercourse bank vegetation restoration. It is also focused on the recreation potential of the watercourse. Introductory chapters are dealing with general issues of watercourses, bank vegetation, abrasion protection and related legislation. As a sample river for the purpose of the research was selected the small river "Lutoninka", flowing through the Zádveřice village, situated near Zlín. For this particular watercourse was worked out the project of vegetation factors reconstruction. The project is accompanied by a proposal that takes into account landscaped and recreational potential of the area.
HEAT – MECHANICAL DEGRADATION OF SURFACES AT THE HIGH TEMPERATURES
Zahradník, Radek ; Hajduk, Daniel (referee) ; Čecho, Ladislav (referee) ; Toman,, Zdeněk (referee) ; Raudenský, Miroslav (advisor)
The Ph.D. thesis is focused on a surface degradation mechanisms under combined heat and mechanical load. The objects of examination are work rolls from hot rolling mill which suffer such a load. In first chapter, the hot rolling process, the design, the manufacturing process and present materials of work rolls are described. The state-of-the-art study of work roll surface degradation mechanisms – wear, oxidation, thermal and contact fatigue are described in the second chapter. The characterization, the formation, the mechanisms of progression and the effects of each surface degradation mechanism is described step by step. The state-of-the-art study of analytical and numerical models which are related to hot rolling process is described in third chapter together with their limitations and flaws. The next chapters contain design of an analytical, an optimized macroscopic and a microscopic model for study of the work roll stress state. The macroscopic and the microscopic model is based on finite element method and they are implemented in ANSYS Programming Design Language. The models are used to process several case study which are based on previous experimental work of the Heat transfer and fluid flow laboratory. The results from case studies specify and expand the knowledge of work roll stress state. The results show the portion of each loading factor on the whole stress state. In addition, time and depth depended distribution of stress state is presented. The results from macrosferic model illustrate the cause of spalling and a rupture of the work roll. The results from the microsferic model show the cause of creation of the to-surface-parallel cracks within carbides of high chromium irons. Last chapter summarized of all results gathered from case studies together with the goals for further research definition. The necessary steps for further cognition are stated. The thesis contains a large set of appendixes with deeper discussion of several related topics. These appendixes represent the one third of whole the thesis.
Wear resistence of cladding
Pagáč, Aleš ; Sigmund, Marian (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
The subject of this Diploma thesis was study of wear resistant deposits, including appropriate basic and filler materials and welding technologies suitable for a particular application of hard carbide overlays of blade mixer for foundry sand. Analysis of suitable filler materials focused on extreme abrasion and select tungsten carbide hardfacing, together with a selection of appropriate overlays welding methods for welding tungsten carbide, including the conditions and parameters surfacing. The practical part deals with the design and evaluation of the experiment, three samples welding of non-alloy structural steel, tungsten-carbide hardfacing, technology MCAW - WC flux cored electrode in protective active gas.
