Flyover bridge across the radial road in Brno

Diploma thesis deals with design pre-stressed road bridge over the radial road from Ostrava, railway ČD and tram in Brno. There are designed 4 studies, from which variation parabolic double-chamber girder with 8 spans is chosen. Thesis solves construction process and static calculation includes time analysis. It is elaborated a detailed structural analysis and bridge is considered a proposal to limit states for temporary and permanent design situations according to European standards - Eurocodes. It is developed drawings and visualization of the bridge.
Design of Load Bearing Concrete Structure

This thesis is focusing on general issues of floor concrete slabs, technology, implementation, subsoil models, calculation of internal forces and design approaches. Based on these data the thesis monitors the behaviour of floor slabs according to the various parameters. It also includes three versions of design of the real floor slab, made of steel fibre reinforced concrete, reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete. Economic comparison is also included. In addition it developes a design of the chalice base and reinforced concrete column of the supporting hall system, instead of the original usual base with steel column.
Bridge across river and railway line on town bypass

This thesis deals with a bridging design of a river and ČD railway at the town bypass . The construction of the bridge is made as a running girder used for the road S 11,5/70 crossing the river Šlapanka and the railway line Šatov – Kolín, TÚ 1201. The work comprises some alternative solutions to this bridging design as well, especially alternatives of cross-section, static system and bridge building process. The static design solution made on a computer includes TDA (Time Dependant Analysis). All suggested alternatives consist of a design of prestressing and rough assessment of chosen sections. The next goal of this thesis is working-out of a project based on chosen alternative of the main bearing construction and a rough calculation of the foundation.
Calculation of Prestressed Concrete Beam

This thesis is focused on the description of the calculation of prestressed concrete beams. The introductory chapter discusses the bias and distribution of prestressed concrete. The second chapter describes materials used for the production of prestressed concrete and its characteristics. The following chapters describe the calculation of changes of prestressing and their effects on the structure, prestressing methods and a limit state where the prestressed concrete is controlled. A model example of calculation is shown in the last chapter.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design of bridge construction over the river of Krupá located near the city of Staré Město. The load bearing system is composed from one prestressed concrete span. The structural design was made in two variants, which were compared between them. For calculations of first way was used the software of Scia Engineering and second way was calculated by simplified manual method of effective width. All calculations were performed according to actual standard EN.
Slab bridge in Český Krumlov

The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is the design a new supporting bridge construction across creek Polečnice in Český Krumlov. This object is located on the 1st class road I/39, at kilometer 13,027. The objective is the design of a perpendicular one-span construction, which is proposed in three variants. The first variant is a slab from post-tensioned concrete with a variable height of max. 0,950 m. The second variant is composed of prefabricated concrete beams VSTI 2000-21/0,9 coupled with a reinforced concrete slab with a thickness of 0,200 m. The third variant is similarly of prefabricated concrete beams T93-21/0,85 coupled with a reinforced concrete slab with a thickness 0,200 m. For detailed assessment the first variant was chosen with a length of bridging of 18,080m. The calculation of load effects is done by computer softwares Scia Engineer 14 and IDEA StatiCa and compared with a manual calculation according to current standards.
Pedestrian bridge across the river Dyje

This bachelor thesis aims to design a structure of pedestrian bridge over the river Dyje. Therefore, three outlines of bridging were drafted. The main propose of this thesis is to make a static analysis of a respective outline, which is the structure of a steel arch supporting a prestressed concrete deck. The calculations were made using the Scia Engineer software and the evaluation is done in MS Excel. The design is drafted in accordance with ČSN EN 1992. This thesis, however, does not deal with the time dependent analysis.
Slab bridge over a local brook

The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is to design a one field slab bridge over a local brook. The supporting structure is from prestressed concrete with the lenght of 18,00 m. The load effects is calculated by Scia Engineer 2013.1 and compared with manual calculation. The supporting structure is assessed for the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state. Static assessment is done by hand calculation acording to CSN EN 1992-2.
Design of the prestressed ceeling structure

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design and the solution of a prestressed ceiling structure of a building. The preliminary design is established using the method of balancing the equivalent load which is limited by choice of the average normal stress and the method of a surface of feasible prestress. The aim of this thesis is to assess whether such proposed prestressed slab meets the limit states of usability and load capacity and ultimate assessment of the feasibility of the design of this type of construction.
