Faktory ovlivňující kvalitu vnitřního pobytového prostředí z hlediska zatížení interiéru těkavými organickými látkami (VOCs)
Málková, Andrea
This thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical and a practical. The theoretical part contains six chapters and it is written in the form of a literature review. In these chapters, there are gradually characterized the features of indoor environmental quality and indoor air quality, which are associated with volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and their sources. Then following chapter deals with the effects of VOCs on human health and the possibilities of how to avoid these influences in the apartment interior. Among other things, the literary review deals with outdoor air quality in the area of the examined objects as one of the factors that influence the indoor air quality. The last chapter is devoted to legislation that relates to the researched topic. Main, practical part of the thesis id divided into five chapters. It deals with the measurement of VOCs in four different apartments in a period of three seasons (fall, winter, spring). These chapters describe the assessed objects and the corresponding measurement methodology used together with the devices, by which the measuring and subsequent analysis of the interior load VOCSs were carried out. The last chapter of the practical section discusses the results of measurements and their interpretation of the word.

Energy absorption of cellular foams in high strain rate compression test
Králík, V. ; Němeček, J. ; Jíra, A. ; Fíla, Tomáš ; Zlámal, P.
Aluminum foams are structural materials with excellent energy absorption capacity jointed with very low specific weight and high stiffness. Products of aluminum foams are used in a wide range of structural and functional applications (e.g. as a part of composite protection elements) due to its attractive properties. Full characterization of deformation behaviour under high-strain rate loading is required for designing these applications. The aim of this study is to compare stress-strain behaviour and energy absorption of the aluminium foam structure with conventional energy absorbing materials based on polystyrene and extruded polystyrene commonly used as protective elements. The compressive deformation behaviour of the materials was assessed under impact loading conditions using a drop tower experimental device.

In this paper, compact loading device for micro-CT measurements under applied load was used in a series of instrumented compressive test of bone sample. Tested bone samples were loaded in several deformation steps and micro-CT scanning was carried out in each step. Reconstructed three-dimensional data of intact bone sample were used to develop 3D model of the specimen. Data from each deformation step were processed by DVC method for identification of displacement and strain fields and thus for evaluation of deformation response of human trabecular bone sample.

Control system of APF device
Kokeš, Petr
Control method of Active Parallel Filter (APF), which is based on the previously developed AFE control method utilizing the LQR controller, is described. The APF device is able to compensate fully reactive load current and reduce considerably higher harmonics up to 11th order. APF functionality was tested on a physical model of the LV 4-level converter with flying capacitors in steady and transient states for both symmetrical and asymmetrical loads. The control system was implemented into Emadyn-F controller.

Design of elevator for pallets
Hájek, Lukáš ; Winkler, Tomáš (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the construction design of elevator for pallets with car seats weighing 200 kg. This device is proposed for vertical transport of the load between two working positions which are separated by 6m. Part of the pallet hoist is a roller conveyor attached on a lifting frame. The roller conveyor allows loading and unloading pallets from the fixed roller conveyors in the lower and upper station. There are the functional calculations of important parts, strength control of traction belt and shaft of driving pulley drum. By FEM (Finite Element Method) is detected stress distribution of the lifting frame. Parts of the annex are the manufacturing drawings of the lifting frame, shaft of driving drum, the driving station and drawing of the whole assembly vertical conveyor. Furthermore, the timing diagram function for one cycle, risk analysis and FMEA.

Study of behavior of concrete and cement based composite materials exposed to high temperatures
Bodnárová, L. ; Horák, D. ; Válek, J. ; Hela, R. ; Sitek, Libor
The paper describes possibilities of observation of behaviour of concrete and cement based composite material exposed to high temperatures. Nowadays, for large-scale tests of behaviour of concrete exposed to high temperatures, testing devices of certified fire testing stations in the Czech Republic and surrounding states are used. These tests are quite expensive. For experimental verification of smaller test specimens, a testing device was built at the Technical University in Brno, where tests of thermal loading of concrete tests specimens of various sizes can be carried out (dimensions up to 800 x 800 x 800 mm or slabs up to 1100 mm of length). The testing device opens new ways of observation of behaviour of concrete and cement based composite materials exposed to high temperatures as well as preparation of specimens for observation of interaction of water jet and concrete degraded by action of high temperatures.

ANALYSIS OF RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FEET CONDITION AND OVERWEIGHT BY FOOTSCAN SYSTEM DURING PIM 2006
Prchal, Jakub ; Tlapáková, Eva (advisor) ; Jelen, Karel (referee)
Title in English: ANALYSIS OF RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FEET CONDITION AND BY overweight Footscan SYSTEM DURING PIM 2006 Objectives: The aim of this study is to make a probe into the population of visitors Prague International Marathon 2006 (PIM) held by adidas, which was held from 8 to 13 May 2006 in Prague's Wenceslas square. The main objective is to determine the relationship between overweight status and vaults Foot and obviously percentage of individual faults and dysfunctions feet. Partial goals are using statistics to prove dependency between measured values of BMI, bioimpedance and the relationship of these values the frequency of sports interviewees. On the basis of a place evaluated data to the customer recommended appropriate model shoes with several alternatives and as feedback received clear output measurements carried out. The group of people (160 individuals) were not a representative sample of the population, and therefore the results of this work can not be easily generalizable. Method: The measuring device was used Footscan serving to detect contact pressures and forces of reaction to the load area of the foot during walking or sweep through the measuring apparatus. It is therefore a dynamic form Measuring both legs probands. Auxiliary measurements were carried out using Tanita BIA scales. To...

Mast crane for ships handling
Jandáček, Jaroslav ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is aimed on construction design of jib crane for ships handling. Crane with capacity of load 1 000 kg is placed on concrete pier in shipyard, it has electrical hoist and swivel mechanism, lift height from water level is 6 000 mm. This is a design calculation of each part of the crane and control strength calculations. The aim of this project is the concept designed solutions and functional calculation of the whole device. An integral part of the thesis is drawing documentation.

Long-term monitoring of mechanical damage on historical structures
Zíma, Pavel
Important information for the risk assessment of some damages on the historical structures represents data of failure development. Cracks in the load-bearing walls are one of the observed failures. This article focuses on remarkable method of damage measurement, their long-term monitoring and devices used for measurement

Experimental study on size effect in quasi-static compressive behavior of closed-cell aluminium foams
Koudelka_ml., Petr ; Zlámal, Petr ; Kytýř, Daniel ; Fíla, Tomáš ; Jiroušek, Ondřej
The size effect in compressive deformation behaviour of commercially available aluminium closed-cell foam Alporas was studied under quasi-static loading conditions with different boundary conditions. Dimensions of the specimen’s cross-section were selected to match those of sufficient representative volume element (RVE) obtained by spectral analysis of the macroscopic structure whereas different heights of specimens were tested to examine size-scaling factor. Mechanical properties were derived from three different data sources: I) using data captured by load-cell, II) by digital image correlation (DIC) of displacement of contact faces, III) by DIC of the specimen’s structure. Mechanical testing was performed in custom-built loading device as well as in Instron 4301 electromechanical testing system with custom computer control software.
