Development of Slovakia's pro-export policy since 1993

The principal aim of the bachelor thesis is to make reader familiar with the historical development of Slovakia's pro-export policy since 1993 and with main institutions supporting domestic producers whereby it evaluates the effectiveness of this institutional framework. The secondary aim is to analyze the changes in commodity and territorial structure of international trade related to pro-export policy of the state. The thesis is divided in 4 main sections. The first section contains development of international trade's theories and the purpose of export support. The second part focuses on pro-export activities of Slovakia since 1993 till 1997 and contains description of Ministry of Economy, Fund for foreign trade's support, and Slovak Guarantee and Development Bank. The third section of the thesis describes pro-export institutions that exist since 1997, such as Export-import Bank of Slovak Republic and Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency. The last section of bachelor thesis includes analysis of international trade development in Slovakia focusing on the territorial and commodity structure.
Selected problems of export policy of the Czech Republic

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the current state of export policy of the Czech Republic and its security in the institutional framework. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first chapter deals with the institutional solution to support exports and the particular forms of export promotion. This chapter also deals with development, characteristics and products offered by various institutions of the state aid. The second part is dedicated to the problems of export policy and the readiness of the Czech Republic Czech exporters to profit from the existing system of export promotion. The attention is paid to issues related to the global financial crisis. This is the problem of declining sales in EU markets, Export Strategy, and finally ineffective economic diplomacy of the Czech Republic.
Role of commercial banks in support of small and medium sized enterprises' export in Czech republic

Bachelor thesis aims at analysing services connected with support of small and medium sized enterprises' export, which are provided by commercial banks. The thesis do not focus just on description of services, but also analyses relation between state (or international) institutions and commercial banks. It beggins with description of banking in the Czech republic and definition of small and medium sized enterprises and shows reasons for the support. In second part, there is written about main state and international institutions providing support to small and medium sized enterprises. In the end, products provided by commercial banks are described.
Effects of Economic Crisis to the Czech exports Development

The aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to evaluate the development of Czech exports in the years 2007 - 2010 and on the basis of the acquired information to propose appropriate measures to improve the situation of Czech exports. A partial aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to analyze the situation of Czech exports at the time of economic crisis, its comparison with chosen member countries of European Union (Slovakai, Poland, Hungary, Germany) and the market research intent on companies focused on export in the area of engineering, mainly the production of various machinery and gadgets. The result of this Bachelor Thesis was finding a very bad situation of Czech exports especially in 2009 when there was a setback. As a result of market crisis, most companies had to lay off their staff and reduce some other expenses associated with the business. Czech Republic and other analyzed countries had to take various measures to mitigate the negative impact of the economic crisis. Most commonly there was provision of favorable export loans and insurance, and also extending maturities.

The aim of this thesis was to prove that availing services of the CzechTrade agency is a convinient investment for enterprisers and that the selected company do not have problems which are connected with the current economic crisis thanks to the possibilities of the state export assistance. The knowledge acquired in the theoretical part of the thesis was consequently the base for the practical part in which individual services were applied to the concrete company. This company affects so-called niche market which is characterized by certain specifics. The partial aim was to evaluate if availing services connected with the export assistance of the CzechTrade agency is beneficial for the company, and to decide if it is advantageous for the company to invest in its services in such way. The aim was also to point out which services worth availing and to find out if the company has preconditions for the extension of its influence on the foreign markets. The conclusion of the questionnaire investigation helped to find out how similar companies behave in this sphere and if these companies are interested in such an export assistance in general.
Support of export in Czech republic

The aim of this thesis was to analyze the current export support in the Czech Republic. It has been given various export promotion instruments and organizations that are part of the Czech Republic, pro-export strategy. Gain insight was subsequently the basis for the practical part, in which individual instruments were applied to a specific enterprise environments. Pursued by the firm belongs to the category of SMEs. Sub-goal of the thesis was then assess whether the export promotion in the Czech Republic is also suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises and on the basis of situational analysis, make recommendations for the observed enterprise, the export promotion instruments might in their export activities to use. In the survey were contacted by companies that operate in the same area as the company pursued whether their export activities to utilize any form of support for exports
System of support and regulation of business enterprise in FRG

The aim of my bachelor theses was to analyse the system of the support and regulation of business in Germany and to review the progression of this system. In the first part of the work there were described the business rules, the taxation in Germany and the institutional promotion of economic activities in Germany and abroad. In the second part of the work there was analysed the system of organizations and their programs concerned with the subvention of the business in Germany and the export support system in the country. The system of the business support in Germany is focused mainly on the small and middle {--} sized enterprises and on their export support. In the bachelor theses are given specific programs to support SMEs in the Bavaria. The financial progress of the support and regulation of business in Germany is reviewed in the bachelor theses by the development of the grants of the Federal Government and of the individual federal countries from 2000 to 2007.
Support Possibilities Export of Services in the Czech Republic

The thesis is focused on the area of export support services in the Czech Republic - specifically for the international transport. Its principal aim is analysis of selected company engaged in export of services and proposing specific measures and recommendations for this company from area support export of services in the Czech Republic. Partial aim of the thesis is analysis and evaluation the use of instruments of support export of services in the Czech Republic on business entities engaged in international transport. For filling of partial aim was performed survey by questionnaires. In the analysis of selected company operating in international road transport was performed financial analysis, competition analysis - Porter´s model, STEP analysis, SWOT analysis and finally structured guided interview with company representative. Based on an analysis of selected company was performed proposal specific recommendations for this company from area support export of services in the Czech Republic.
Comparison of the System of Export Support in the Czech Republic and in Ireland

This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of systems of export support in the Czech Republic and Ireland. The first part concentrates on the characteristic features of both economies. Special attention is paid to the external trade. The other part concerns with the description of both systems of export support, i.e. strategies designed, institutions involved in the export support and their instruments put into effect. The thesis contains a concluding evaluation to the topic, comparison of the effectiveness of both systems and the author's suggestions for improvement and innovations at the end.
Comparative standing of Bavaria in Germany

This bachelor thesis focuses on economic situation of Germany and its largest state Bavaria. It briefly describes Bavaria's historical evolution and its political system. This thesis deals with foreign trade emphasising on export. It is also related to state intervention supporting export during economic crisis and comparison with measures adopted in the Czech Republic.
