Fundraising in a public non-profit organization

The subject of this thesis investigates the issue of multi-source financing in non-profit organizations. It focuses on the possibility of implementing fundraising as a strategy in civil society organizations and in public non-profit organizations. The first part lays in the theoretical foundation of the public and civic sector and the specifics of their funding. The empirical part includes a case study of a selected non-profit organization that focuses on its current funding mix and aims to consider the possibilities and limits of implementing different fundraising strategies in public organizations.

The diploma thesis focuses on fundraising as a way of financing non-profit organizations. The aim of the thesis is to compare the fundraising strategy of non-profit organizations. The work is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The practical part describes the method and technique of data collection, namely the qualitative research strategy through the interview method and semi-structured interview technique. Furthermore, the practical part interprets the results of interviews that were conducted with directors, fundraisers and PR managers. In order to fulfill the aim of the diploma thesis, the fundraising strategies of individual organizations were described in a detail as a part of the interpretation of the results. However, not all organizations had a direct fundraising strategy, but another document, which was similar. It was, for example, a strategic or marketing plan. One organization had no strategy in place, only a plan for the week, month and year. The contribution of this work is the description of seven non-governmental non-profit organizations that obtain funds through fundraising in various ways. The diploma thesis describes the individual categories in more detail, where the reader is able to read which fundraising strategy the organization has, from which sources they obtain funds and what has proven most effective for them in practice. The obtained results can be beneficial to the organizations in which the research was carried out. They can get their own idea of how other organizations fundraise. This thesis can also serve as inspiration for organizations that are starting with fundraising. They can find here information on options and methods which can be used in fundraising.
MOBILE MARKETING IN MARKETING MANAGEMENT OF NON-PROFIT ASSOCIATION

Mobile marketing is one of the youngest marketing branch. It was found out that mobile marketing was not used in any publication yet, but it can be very usefull for non profit association. For this purpose was used marketing research. 85 % of all informants knew what is DMS, 46 % have already send DMS and 65 % of all informants would be willing to download logo, wallpapers or animation in case that the fee would be used for charitable purposes . We found out other instruments of mobile marketing that can be used in non profit organization's fundraising and merchandising.
Proposal for Improving the Marketing Communication of the Non-Profit Project Handipet Rescue with a Focus On Donor Communication

I set two main goals for my thesis, the first is to describe the possibilities of marketing communication and fundraising regarding the interaction of non-profit organizations with individual donors. The second is to use the gained knowledge to analyze the communication of the non-profit project Handipet Rescue and create a proposal for its improvement. In the theoretical part of my thesis, first, I focus on the way non-profit organizations operate in the Czech Republic in general and then specifically on marketing in the non-profit sector. I describe mainly the usage of marketing in the non-profit sector and the specifics of this sector. Finally, I focus on the current possibilities and practice. In the last chapter of the theoretical part, I summarize the current situation of non-profit organizations and donations in the Czech Republic. The practical part follows. First, I introduce the selected project Handipet Rescue. Second, I continue with analyzing its current situation using the SWOT analysis, PEST analysis and Porter's five forces analysis. Third, I conduct a communication analysis. Lastly, I present results brought by my research focused on the way people who are fond of animals perceive non-profit organizations helping animals in need and their awareness of the project Handipet Rescue....
Evaluation of Economy of a Selected Association

This bachelor thesis is focused on the overall evaluation of economy activities of selected non-governmental non-profit organization, which is Bulharský spolek. The first part, which is theoretical, describes the non-profit sector in the national economy and the issue of fundraising. The second, analytical, part of the work deals with the classification of incomes and expenditures of the association during the years 2017 – 2021 and based on the results of the analysis, an evaluation of the organization´s economy is done. The final part of the bachelor thesis deals with own solutions to improve the financial situation and economy of the association.

The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the economy of selected non-governmental non-profit organization, Endowment fund Modrý hroch. The theoretical part of the thesis descriptions the issues of the non-profit sector and endowment fund. In the analytical part of the thesis, there is a cost-revenue analysis and modified financal analysis. According to results from analysis, there is a summary of development of the economy and fundraising. In conclusion, there are presented own solutions of organization s weaknesses.
The Comparison of Selected Social Movement Organizations

Title of the Bachelor's Thesis: Comparison of Selected Social Movement Organizations Abstract: This bachelor thesis compares the social movement organizations on the basis of the resource mobilization theory. In relation to the resources, organizations use various strategies. Aim of this thesis is to identify similarities and differences in the strategies that organization use in relation to selected resources. This thesis focuses on material resources, human resources and the Internet. The theoretical part introduces the issue of civil society and civil society organizations. The largest part is devoted to the theory of resource mobilization, including the specification of individual types of resources and followed by a description of selected organization strategies. In the empirical part is made a comparative analysis of selected social movement organizations. To achieve the objective it was chosen a method of semi-structured interviews with representatives of selected organizations.
