Analysis of Performance Factors in Innovative Firms

This master´s thesis deals with the performance evaluation of selected innovative companies and looks for factors that affect the performance of those companies. Analysis is done for peridods between 2011 and 2015 based on financial statements. Then the evaluation of the survey questionnaire follows. The last part summarizes the results of the previous chapters and specifies the factors that have an impact on the performance of the innovative companies based on performed analysis.

Master's thesis deals with the assessment of financial performance of the company ČSAD Kyjov Logistics a.s. The theoretical part explains the theoretical basis of financial analysis, regression analysis, the issue of time series, correlation analysis and benchmarking. In the practical part contains the results of the financial analysis, some of which are subjected to statistical analysis, which analyzes the dependencies between indicators and their development for the next two seasons. The Company is also compared with two competing companies and are given suggestions to improve business performance.

The diploma thesis is focused on the issue of the capital structure of a selected company and the possibilities of affecting it from company’s perspective. The basic concepts related to the capital structure, the issue of optimizing the capital structure, the factors that affect the capital structure and the financial performance of the company are explained. Furthermore, the work deals with a proposal of ways or sources, by which the company could optimize its capital structure in order to streamline its business.

This diploma thesis is focused on an assessment of the efficiency of the company ZLOMEK, s.r.o. in 2012-2016. The first part defines the basic concepts and describes methods of measuring the efficiency of companies in general. The second part carries out a strategic and financial analysis of the ZLOMEK company. Its results are then compared with two close competitors and industry averages. The end of this thesis suggests potential improvemens that ZLOMEK can implement.

The bachelor thesis is divided into three main parts. These are the theoretical part, the practical part and the last part with own suggestion for improve. design part. In the theoretical part, the concepts that will be used during the practical and suggestion part will be explained with the help of professional literature. The practical part will use the tools of financial and strategic analysis to evaluate the performance of the company. Based on this evaluation, solutions will be developed in the design part that will lead to improved financial performance of the company.

Výkonnost obchodních společností v kontextu jejich přeměny

The aim of this thesis is to formulate recommendations for business companies in the area of spin-off by merger in the Czech Republic, which may have positive impact on the performance of the transforming and the recipient company. After defining the theoretical framework of company transformations, focusing on legal, tax and accounting aspects, these findings are applied to a specific limited liability company. The effects of the spin-off on the performance of the transforming and the recipient company were evaluated based on the established financial ratios. Finally, proposals and recommendations were formulated which will serve both for the next intended spin-off of the specific company and for other companies planning to transform by spin-off.

The Performance Evaluation of the Company using Balanced Scorecard

The master’s thesis focuses on the evaluation of the performance of H & M spol. s r.o. using the Balanced Scorecard method. The work is divided into four parts. The first part defines the goals and chosen methods, followed by the theoretical part, which contains theoretical starting points from the professional literature, which are the basis for the next part of the work. The third part of the work is analytical, where the company is presented and then a financial and strategic analysis is carried out. In the last part of the work, a proposal for the implementation of the BSC model, which should lead to an increase in the company‘s performance.

The fourth part of the thesis is dedicated to the benchmarking of the company with selected competitors. The last part deals with sugestions leading to an improved financial and business performance of the company.
