The thesis aims for the surface treatment of materials using electron beam. It includes a literary research describing physical principle and properties of the electron beam. This research also presents possible influencing of the beam and describes the construction of the device that generates the beam. Various applications of the electron beam for the material treatment are presented in the second part of the paper. Within this thesis an experiment with the heat treatment of the steel surface by the electron beam has been realized. The experiment was aimed at creating a layer as deep as possible without melting the surface. The results and their evaluation are presented in the experimental part of the thesis. The attention is also paid to selected process parameters.
Production of coupling pin
Pátek, Martin ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
In this thesis there was designed a technological procedure of production of the coupling pin. As a material was selected low alloyed, construction steel 27MnCrB7-2. From the analysis of susitable methods was selected bulk forming technology, on which is focused theoretical and practical part of the thesis. There was designed the production in three forming operations, which were also devided to two steps because of enervation of plastic properties. Before both steps, there was done heat and surface treatment. For all operations there was designed a special tool, only the clamping parts are universal. The first step will be implemented on hydraulic press Schüler p200 with nominal force 20 000 kN and the second one on mechanical press Krupp p63 with nominal force 6 300 kN. For extruding dies and punches was selected material 19 436 with subsequent heat treatment by the technical documentation. Overall costs of the whole batch are 17 733 870 Kč. With 30% margin these costs are deleted by the 43 945 finished pieces and after this it is only profitable.
Selection of appropriate technology for the production of welded constructions of boiler JE 12 and JE 6
Janás, Milan ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Dvořák, Jaromír (advisor)
The diploma thesis on the selection of appropriate technology to produce the welded construction of electric boiler JE6 / 12 aims to evaluate available production technologies and choose the most suitable of them. Choosing the technologies focuses primarily on those that are available at Slokov. Due to the connection of the welding robot to the production, it is necessary to consider the overall connection of the production and the high accuracy of the production. The individual methods of production, material separation, welding, bending and surface treatment are first theoretically analyzed and their advantages, disadvantages and parameters are summarized. Subsequently, it is practically tested individual technologies for a representative part and it evaluates the achieved parameters and economics of production. With the results obtained, the most suitable technologies are selected. With the selection of technologies, there is a need for a change in design and production parameters. Changes and modifications to the design describe another point. To achieve maximum efficiency and quality of production, a welding robot is used to make welds. The description of the production, modifications and overall design of the robot describes the next point of this work. The last part summarizes the economics of selected production technologies and details the technological process. The aim of the thesis is to design such technologies that will be advantageous from the point of view of the economy and from the perspective of the available possibilities of the company.

Comparison of mechanical properties of bolts with various surface treatment and upon consideration of their operation on the safety limit
Krško, Peter ; Skalka, Petr (referee) ; Ševeček, Oldřich (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with issues of critical bolt joints tightening on the safety limit. The aim of this work is to find the optimal surface treatment of the bolt for reliable application in industrial vacuum pumps and to clarify its stress-strain behaviour upon using various surface treatments and different surface lubrication. Next part consists of finding the maximum torque values causing a fracture in bolts of the vacuum pumps. For this purpose, on one hand, the analytical model of the bolt joint is used and, on the other hand, the experimental observations on the real bolt joint are utilized. The outputs of both approaches are then compared to each other and, on their basis, the most suitable surface treatment of the bolt joint for the given industrial pump is recommended in order to achieve the maximum possible safety against torque applied to the bolt when assembling the device.
Research and development of a technology of hard anodization of nonferrous alloys
Remešová, Michaela ; Kudláček,, Jan (referee) ; Vidal, Salvador Pané (referee) ; Kaiser, Jozef (advisor)
Práce je zaměřena na výzkum a vývoj technologie přípravy tvrdých anodických vrstev na třech různých typech neželezných materiálů a to (i) hliníkové slitině (AA1050), (ii) čistém hořčíku (99.9% Mg) a (iii) zinkové slitině (ZnTi2). Vhodnou kombinací anodizačních podmínek (napětí, proudová hustota, teplota a složení elektrolytu atd.) lze vytvářet anodické vrstvy s rozdílnými vlastnostmi.
Complex solution of the technological surface treatment process of a forklift truck
Nitschneider, Richard ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
The project elaborated proposal of the technology for efficient surface treatments of a forklift truck. Pursuant to literary studies and trials of each technology for surface treatments show that the most productive option is blasting technology. Bigger components and forklift model WH are determined for injector blasting. Smaller components will be machined in self-acting room. Application of blasting technology increases the life of coat. Proposed solution decreased the laboriousness of surface treatments, what raised overall productivity. Project also includes design solution of blasting machines.
Surface treatment of aluminum alloys
Petr, Jiří ; Konečný, Tomáš (referee) ; Zmrzlý, Martin (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the surface treatment used for the preparation of aluminium alloys for the adhesive bonding. The theoretical part can be divided into three chapters. The first of them deals with aluminium alloys, the second one speaks about the adhesive bonding. The surface treatment itself, especially the conversion coating issues, is discussed in the last chapter. The experimental part is focused on the optimalization of a two-step titanium and zirconium based conversion coating technology. In the first part, the aluminium alloy is analysed by the glow discharge optical emission spectroscopy. The second part of the experiment deals with the first step of the technology, acidic deoxidation. The objective was to examine the influence of the exposure time on the morphology of the alloy surface and the shear strength of adhesive joints. In the last part of the experiment, the conversion coatings are prepared and characterised by the scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy.
