Electronic monitoring system for motor vehicles
Pospíšil, Martin ; Vařacha, František (referee) ; Prokeš, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis is about construction of a monitoring unit for motor vehicles. The unit is equipped with microcontroller, graphical LCD for displaying all measured values, GPS module and SD card slot. For measuremet of motor RPM, various methods of connecting to the motor are supported. Temperature is measured with few DS18B20 sensors, picking up engine temp, outsider and inside temp. GPS module is for measuring speed and height above MSL. All measured values can be recorded on SD card for future analysis on PC.
Digital speedometer
Bařinka, David ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design components for practical realization of a digital speedometer. This thesis describes three basic constructions of the speedometr including the practical illustration, the way of measuring the speed and a the speedometr testing. Furthermore, there are described the principles of the main components and used components. The conclusion of the thesis is concerned with the practical realization of the digital speedometer.
Diagnostic tool for SD card protocol
Frnka, Peter ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
The objective of this diploma thesis is to design and implement a diagnostic tool for communication protocol of SD memory cards. The diagnostic tool will be able to monitor and interfere with communication of an SD memory card. The hardware implementation will be based on platform with Kinetis K66 microcontroller. A PC application designed for windows is also a part of diagnostic tool. There is a conclusion of the diagnostic tool limitation at the end of the thesis.
Auxiliary sensorics for unstable balancing vehicle
Solnický, Vojtěch ; Krejčí, Petr (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
This thesis continues on successful project of unstable balancing vehicle, which was completed in mechatronics laboratory in last year. The main goal is to supplement vehicle with display device displaying driving conditions. These conditions have to be acquired first from several sensors. Other issues, which are dealt in this thesis, is problem with damage of electronics due to induced voltage in DC motors with permanent magnets, built-in sensor for obtaining information about driver’s presence and logging driving conditions on SD card. In the end there is described implementation of sensors’ output signals verification.
Control unit for monitoring of climatic conditions in the breeding of edible insects
Chmelař, Vít ; Šandera, Josef (referee) ; Adámek, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis introduces the problematics of edible insects, Arduino platform, sensors and peripherals that will be used to construct a device which monitors conditions of breeding of insects. It describes the different type of sensors and their principles. It discusses the SPI and I2C communication, which is used for communication with peripherals and describes the selected sensors and peripherals with which will be builded the device. Measured values are displayed on devici and savet to memory card.
Fast data logger with galvanically separated measuring channels
Doležel, Jiří ; Knobloch, Jan (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
Master‘s thesis deals with analysis solutions and construction of the devices for data collection. At the beginning, they describe the basic types of devices for data collection. In other parts of the work is compared few commercial devices for data collection, under which the requirements will be selected on the proposed device for data collection. In other chapters of the work devoted to the design of schemes and selecting components for their manufacture. The last chapters are devoted to describing the design of device for data collection.
Battery powered datalogger
Rezek, Petr ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the questions of battery powering, measuring of analog physical values using microcontroller and recording of data on a memory SD card Bibliographic reference: REZEK, P. Battery powered datalogger. Brno: Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, 2008. 65 p. Supervisor: Ing. Zdeněk Bradáč, Ph.D.
Board computer for car
Lutera, Ondřej ; Holek, Radovan (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of car computer with multi-user mode and data recording. The measurement is performed by using a direct connection to the sensors and fuel injector of engine. The measured signals are processed and evaluated by Atmel Atmega128A microcontroller. Measured and recorded data are displayed on the graphical LCD.
SD card data storage device
Čaloun, Petr ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Pristach, Marián (advisor)
This work deals with desing of devices for recording data using programmable gate array. The paper describes the principle of communication protocols used for communication with a memory card. The next part describes the selection of different interfaces, communication protocols and describes the design of data storage devices. The last part is focused on desing of application for long time data collection.
SD Card Reader Based on HC(S)08
Hřib, Dalibor ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to design and programme the SD card reader using the Freescale HCS08 microcontroler, namely MC9S08SH32. A part of this thesis is a design and making of a printed circuit board for the card reader and an operating software written in the C language. The software is able to use the FAT16 and FAT32 file systems for reading the directories and for reading and writing files of unlimited length. The card reader has RS232 and IIC interfaces and one free port for connecting to the card reader and other device, for example personal computer.
