The Nursing Profession from the Point of View of Medical Students

The Bachelor thesis "The Nursing Profession from the Point of View of the Medical Students" provides insight into nursing as a profession. The thesis states the main characteristics of profession. The study describes the process of professionalization and its impact on the prestige of nursing profession. This thesis also deals with the changes in the role of nurse and the image of nursing profession. The empirical part focuses on determining the attitude of medical students to the nursing profession and the subsequent comparison of the results with previous surveys and among selected groups of students.
Organizational changes in Civil Society Organizations, depending on subsidies from the EU

The thesis deals with the organizational changes in connection with the use of subsidies from the European Union. It focuses on the changes and processes in civil society Organizations, these processes identifies and describes. It also examines which of them can lead to the successful functioning of the organization. Based on the theoretical assumption that in civil society organizations certain organizational changes occur as a result of subsidies from the EU. This assumption is based on findings from previous published studies and work. Presented theory are demonstrated on examples of good practice, using case study.
Personalization of political communication in Czech republic: quantitative content analysis of presidental campaign 2013 in daily press

This Bachelor Thesis on the topic Personalization of political communication in the Czech republic: Quantitative content analysis of presidental campaign 2013 in daily press deals with the developement of political communication and in particular with the trend of personalization. Personalization is the result of several media, social and political changes which emerged after the Second World War. This Bachelor Thesis consists of two parts. The first theoretical part deals with the development of political communication acompannied by the professionalization of political campaigns. Professionalization can be also considered as a precusor to personalization of political communicatin. The second part summarises the results of quantitative content analysis of presidental campaign in 2013 in the Czech republic. This analysis confirmed the hypothesis that political communication in the presidental campaign was personalized. This provided the opportunity for further research.

Professionalization of the Nonprofit Sector in the Czech Republic: Analysing the Demand for Professions in the Non-governmental Non-profit organisations

The thesis deals with the professionalization of non-profit sector in the Czech Republic, specifically the problém what "professions" in the non-profit sector in the Czech Republic are formed and what are their parameters. The thesis analyzes the jobs offered in the labor market in non-profit organizations. This thesis tries to answer the question: "To what jobs are employees of nonn-governmental organizations demanded" It also focuses on the requirements of these jobs - specifically, the required education, skills, abilities, personality characteristics, experrience, knowledge, relationship to work and the technical prerequisites. The theoretical part is devoted to the professionalization of NGOs in the country. First, I define the Non-Governmental Organization, then explain the concept of professionalization, explain the concept of profession and define who is a professional. The last chapter concerns human resources and positions in non-profit organizations. In the empirical part I analyze the current situation on the labor market in the Czech Republic. It is mentioned what positions of the NGOs are demanding and what are the requirements put on these posts, then I compare the offers of work in NGOs in each region.
Self-development of teachers as a basic premise of preparedness for a profession

This thesis follows the bachelor thesis ,,Gestalt therapy and its use in education" and deals with self-development of teachers as a basic premise for preparedness for the profession. It describes very complicated concept self-development of teacher itself, then it discusses the issues of teaching quality and professionalism, where the thesis again emphasizes self-development as a way of transition from semiprofession to profession. It contemplates the necessity of self-development due to the rapid changes in today's society and thus increasing demands on the personality of the teacher. This thesis is based on the belief in the importance of self-development of teachers mainly in social and personal qualities, it asks whether these qualitites are sufficiently developed in the pregraduate teacher's education and if the offer of further education is sufficient for today's teachers. A short chapter is devoted to the burnout syndrom. Empirical probe aims to validate the conclusions and research of the theoretical part. The chosen method for the probe is questionnaire for primary school teachers. There is a list of centers that provide teacher training in the end of the thesis.
The Process of Professionalization of Non-profit Organization Atmostéra, o.s. - Case Study

This diploma thesis introduces case study that deals with problems of professionalization of non-profit organization Atmosféra, o. s., organization arranging experience programs for elementary and secondary schools mainly in Zlín Region. The aim of this thesis is to analyze members' attitudes to professionalization of the organization and on the bases of this analysis to recommend and suggest procedure leading to improvement of services of the organization. Theoretical part describes problems of voluntary work and professionalization. Practical part contains research dealing with members' attitute to professionalization of the organization. Due to specialization of this thesis, I chose method of case study, in which I use qualitative research methods.
The effect of volunteer management professionalization level on volunteer work satisfaction

This text concentrates on volunteering in volunteer organizations. It examines the connection between volunteer management professionalization level and volunteer work satisfaction in these organizations. In the theoretical part is defined the concepts of volunteering, professionalization and satisfaction are defined and their particular aspects associated with the focus of the thesis are highlighted. The empirical part describes the construction of the research method and presents the analysis of the above-mentioned connection in several volunteering organizations with the use of this method. The entry of civil engineers into the municipal government of Prague at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century

This thesis attempts to capture the development of the position of civil engineers, who tried to achieve the position of an academic educated elite in the society of the 2nd half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The complete professionalisation of engineers was the condition "sine qua non" to the recognition of civil engineers as part of the academic intelligentsia, and that was one of the main reasons why civil engineers sought to enter the municipal government. The aim of the thesis is to complete the research of the transformation of the municipal government from the "honorationes" into the "executive" government in the city of Prague. The thesis describes the historic development of the technical intelligentsia as a new part of academic educated elite, it shows the reasons that led to the engagement of civil engineers in the process of the modernization of the city, and especially shows the rivalry between them and the jurists. The example of engineer Jan Kaftan shows a successful career of one technician, who thanks to, among other skills, his technical knowledge, was elected to the Austrian parliament. Professionalization in Context of Strategic Planning (Case Study - Maternity Centre)

Synopsis Professionalization of non-profit organizations means basically hiring of paid staff . Maternity centre is social space especially for mothers and their children, that rely mainly on mothers' voluntary work and is based on non-professional rather than professional principle. This case study reflects situation in which non-professional, amateur work is being replaced by hiring of paid staff and paid attention especially to an impact on internal organization's atmosphere and position of the main participants of maternity centre - mothers. The situational analysis is a partial goal of this thesis, served as a basic step not only for strategic planning but mostly for considering of accessing to professionalized organization.
