EASIMEN - Sandbox pro umělé bytosti v simulovaném prostředí
Hencz, Attila ; Neruda, Roman (advisor) ; Pilát, Martin (referee)
Title: EASIMEN - A sandbox for artificial creatures in simulated envi- ronment Author: Attila Hencz Department / Institute: Department of Theoretical Computer Sci- ence and Mathematical Logic Supervisor of the bachelor thesis: Mgr. Roman Neruda, CSc., Insti- tute of Computer Science of the ASCR,1 v.v.i.2 Supervisor's e-mail address: Roman.Neruda@mff.cuni.cz Abstract: The present work investigates the creation of a flexible near- universal simulation environment for artificial intelligence with embodi- ment and real-time simulation in mind. Also, a look is taken at the prob- lems associated with the functioning of such a systems and the methods that can be used in a simulation of this kind. The current implementation of the simulation environment (EASIMEN) is rather simplified and its purpose is the demonstration of the proposed design and architecture. Additionally, there are a couple of simplistic module implementations available for the underlying artificial intelligence architecture proposed by the author (BIAR). These modules are only mere showcases of certain aspects of the issues at hand, and serve as templates for the implemen- tation of more sophisticated modules in the future. Keywords: artificial intelligence, real-time simulation, 3D graphics, phys- ically simulated virtual environment, embodied...
Real-time strategy game with artificial intelligence
Fanta, Petr ; Balyo, Tomáš (advisor) ; Dvořák, Filip (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to create a real-time strategy game with artificial intelligence in 3D environment. The thesis includes theoretical analysis of combat real-time strategy games, methods for implementing artificial intelligence in this kind of games, and the basic knowledge of 3D environment implementation. A simple 3D real-time strategy game with artificial intelligence has been implemented as a part of this this thesis.
EASIMEN - Sandbox pro umělé bytosti v simulovaném prostředí
Hencz, Attila ; Neruda, Roman (advisor) ; Brom, Cyril (referee)
In the present work we investigate the creation of a exible nearuniversal simulation environment for arti cial intelligence with embodiment and real-time simulation in mind. We also take a look at the problematics associated with the functioning of such an systems and the methods that can be used in a simulation of this kind. The current implementation of the simulation environment is not a complete system, but rather more separate projects which are showcases of certain aspects of the problematics at hand.
Third-person flight action game with map generator
Nevolová, Kateřina ; Balyo, Tomáš (advisor) ; Krajíček, Václav (referee)
The goal of this thesis was to design and create a third-person flight action game in 3D. The theoretical part of this work includes analysis of the action game environment, the concept of the physical model for the use in movement and orientation in 3D, discussion about artificial intelligence used in this genre and specification of own map format. This work also includes the implementation of such game with a compatible map generator.
Displaying Virtual Graphics and Animations for Sports Analysis
Očenáš, Daniel Miloslav ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create graphic tools used for the analysis of video recordings of sports events, especially football matches. The user can use the tools to highlight selected football players, which are further tracked and highlighted with three-dimensional objects rendered into video scene. Secondly, user can manually create pointed arrows representing player or football movement. Three-dimensional objects are created by perspective distortion corresponding with the scene taken by camera. The theoretical part focuses on the proper rendering of graphical objects into calibrated scene. The practical part focuses on implementation and visualization of mentioned tools by using OpenGL library.
A Demonstration Computer Game Showing 3D Visualization Capabilities of Contemporary Internet Browsers
Pagáč, Jakub ; Starka, Tomáš (referee) ; Pečiva, Jan (advisor)
This thesis describes the process of creation of a game for web browsers using Babylon.js framework. It also touches on subjects of 3D graphics on the web, 3D animation and structure of web applications. Game itself is created using Typescript language and it is shared using a Node.js module as its web server. It is a fighting game for two players, where their characters fight using martial arts.
Karel 3D - Application for Teaching of Programming
Čoupek, Vojtěch ; Regéciová, Dominika (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
The work provides a survey of the tools available for the teachers of Informatics who teach students the basics of programming. The main aim is to create the implementation of Karel pedagogic language inspired by the work of Andrej Blaho and his colleagues for MS-DOS platform. The new web application is introduced that expands the functionality of the original language with variables and includes the up-to-date elements of the user interface, such as block programming, highlighting the language syntax, syntax checking and 3D graphics. The application also provides a set of basic examples for teachers and allows them to create their own tasks.
Searching for Similar 3D Models
Sálus, Ondřej ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
Goal of this paper is development of aplication for comparing of 3D models. It deals with extraction od descriptors suitable for comparing of 3D models and enables to find models similar to users query. For extraction of descriptors application uses Reeb graph method. This paper also describes usage of libraries that implements Reeb graph method and some experiments with speed and quality over pre prepared models database.
