VODÁKOVÁ, Martina. Child with school attendance delay. České Budějovice: Pedagogical faculty of Jihočeská univerzity in České Budějovice, 2010. 61 s. Bachelor thesis. Thesis "Child with school attendance delay" covers problems connected with school attendance delay of children of preschool age. The thesis is devided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part consists of five chapters in which preschool age is mentioned and somatic, motoric and cognitive development of child described. This part also focuses on development of drawing, speaking and emotional experiences of preschool age children including their socialization. In the meantime it defines terms of school maturity, preparedness for school and school immaturity. Theoretical part is finished with a chapter about school attendance delay of preschool age children. Practical part is based on results of a test of Predictive reading battery, questionnaire research and personal diagnostic research. Then through analysis of statistic dates of Moravske Budejovice the most frequent month in which school attendance delayed children were borned is assesed, number of delays and number of boys and girls here is compared for the last six months. These results are compared with school attendance delays in Vysocina region and in The Czech Republic.

The Past and Present of Australian Immigration Policy

This paper deals with Australian immigration policy, its evolution and current situation. It analyses different waves of immigration to Australia from 1788, describing the first British migration, gold related Chinese migration or 19th century non-british migration. It goes further to explain controversial White Australia Policy including The Immigration Restriction Act of 1901 and core concepts of whiteness and Britishness. The post-war mass immigration program is then described in detail and its relation to shift away from White Australia is shown. The objective of keeping Australia white and British was substantially modified through the 1950s and 1960s. It was Prime Minister Gough Whitlam who officialy ended the White Australia Policy in 1973 and gave its support to the concept of multiculturalism. Measures of the Fraser, Hawke and Keating governments concerning immigration policy are also treated. The theme of Czechs and Slovaks in Australia is included, emphasizing on personal story of one czech immigrant. As the perception of immigration in Australia evolved from assimilation to multicultural society, the Australian approach to multiculturalism is covered in the next part of the thesis. Critical views on multiculturalism are decribed as well as the rise of Pauline Hanson's One Nation in 1990s or the topic of Australian Muslims. Changes in immigration policy under the Howard government and possible directions of new Labor government are outlined in the next chapter, including issues of refugees, current visa system in Australia or public attitudes towards immigrants.

Occupational Diseases in the Czech Republic

Occupational Diseases (NzP) are diseases whose definitions is defined by current legislation. The definition is based on Law No. 65/1965 Coll. Labour Code, as amended, Act No. 155/1995 Coll. pension Insurance, and Government Regulation No. 290/1995 Coll.establishing list of occupational diseases, divided into 6 chapters (see Annex No. 1). I Occupational diseases caused by chemicals II Occupational diseases caused by physical factors III Occupational diseases of the respiratory tract, lungs, pleura and peritoneum IV of occupational skin disease In Infectious and parasitic illnesses VI Occupational diseases caused by other factors and actors Each chapter represents a group of professional disease, which is either a common etiological factor (chemical, physical or biological, that is infectious noxa) or disability such a body, which is particularly exposed to influences work environment (skin, respiratory system, musculoskeletal system). Each chapter is then further divided into different number of items that represent nosologickou unit or group of related or diseases include diseases caused by the same etiological noxou professional.

Mobility support in Internet and Wireless Network

Important part of communication systems is their capability to support mobility of user's devices, eventually of program and data components. This thesis deals with methods of mobility solution in the Internet and Wireless networks. In the chapter relating to the Internet it describes of mobile extensions of IP protocol and methods which use domain names. It summarizes positives and negatives both approaches and suggests a new approach based on distributed hash tables. A part of thesis is also a simulation model of the suggested approach. In the part about Wireless networks it summarizes existing wireless technologies and compares their access to mobility. In the conclusion it states a concept of a full mobile node that uses maximum from the methods discussed above and illustrates the possibilities that the mobility offers.

Methodology of implementing new component IS on universities in Czech Republic

Diploma thesis analyzes procedure of implementing new component of information system on universities in Czech Republic. Data were collected with the aid of question-form and complemented by interview on chosen universities. Analyze of implementation is divided into several areas: IS architecture, component cooperation, opening analysis, contractor selection, contract, methodology used, project management, time table, global analysis, verification of data purity, testing, training, documentation and acceptance. General recommendations of implementation new component into information system are made from gained information in chapter 6 and summary of thesis.

The family of a problem adolescent drog user and the feasibilities of its inducement

Práce definuje základní pojmy týkající se tématu závislostí a vymezuje je vzhledem k rodině a vývojové fázi dospívání. V druhé kapitole zkoumá možné faktory vedoucí k drogové závislosti, ve třetí pak odlišuje rodinu funkční a dysfunkční a konkretizuje jednotlivá časová období, rozdělení rolí a možné scénáře počátků, rozvoje a plného propuknutí závislosti vzhledem ke vztahům v rodině a rolím v "rodinném dramatu". Čtvrtá kapitola nastiňuje okolnosti, možnosti a mantinely rodinné terapie a shrnuje hlavní odborné přístupy k léčení drogově závislých.

Analysis of Older Workers Labour Market in the Czech Republic During the Years 2005-2015

Czech Republic, like other European developed countries, has to deal with impacts of population ageing. The number of older people in society grows therefore the drain on workers in productive age is rising. Population ageing causes problems within current setting of the Czech pension system, especially in long-term sustainability of public finance. Hence added involvement of elderly people into working process becomes necessary. The goal of this Masters thesis is to analyse the situation of older workers on Czech labour market between 2005 and 2015 and to find some possible solutions that would increase the employment rate of people before and in retirement age. There are four chapters in the theoretical part that are dealing with population ageing, labour market, specificities of employing older workers and tools used to increase the employment rate. The practical part is focused on demographic situation in the Czech Republic and especially on analysis of the situation of older workers on the Czech labour market in comparison to countries of the European Union. Analysis that was carried out confirms that the overall employment rate of older workers in the Czech Republic is on a good level however there are some areas that need to be improved. For example, option of using part time working contracts is underused as well as the motivation of elderly people to stay economically active. In the last chapter there are possible solutions suggested. These recommendations could strengthen motivation of older workers to stay on labour market and in the same time should motivate employers to employ these workers.

Position of members of the board of directors in a joint-stock company

My master thesis deals with the position of members of the board of directors in a joint-stock company. The focus of this thesis is to deliver a complete overview of information on members of the board of directors of a joint-stock company and other aspects related to the performance of this function. The entire thesis is divided into six chapters, where the first chapter deals with the board of directors and its role in a company. Followed by a chapter on a sole fuctioning of a member of the board of directors. Subsequently the thesis deals with the agreement on performance, which steadily continues in the definition of rights and duties of members of the board of directors. Significant part of this work is dedicated to the sphere of action of the board of directors and the responsibility of its members.

Fundamental analysis of Erste Bank

This bachelor thesis deals with fundamental analysis of Erste Bank's shares on the Prague Stock Exchange. The first chapter analyses the influence of macroeconomic variables on development of the stock index. In the second chapter attention is paid to banking sector, therefore how its development can influence share price. The last chapter deals with corporate analysis, which using various methods calculates the share's intrinsic value. Based on these partial analyzes is derived investment recommendation relating to Erste Bank shares in conclusion.

Taxation of employee benefits in the Czech Republic

The diploma thesis is focused on taxation of selected employee benefits in the Czech Republic. Providing of employees benefits is evaluated with respect to the tax base of the employer, the tax base of the employee and to the assessment base for the payment of social security and state employment policy contributions and for general health insurance. The diploma thesis is divided into three parts. The first chapter defines the term human capital and employee benefits, analyzes the most frequently provided employee benefits and describes the possibilities of covering. The second chapter follows up the tax and insurance aspects of selected employee benefits. In the third chapter are described the employee benefits which are provided by consulting group ASB Group and are defined suggestions how to change the system of employee benefits.
