Teaching mathematics to elementary school with the interactive whiteboard - mathematical word exercise
ŠIPONOVÁ, Eliška
The aim of the offered dissertation is an attempt to create a material for teaching how to solve mathematical word exercises at an elementary school. This document is based on theoretical knowledge. The theoretical part of the dissertation documents the evolution of the mathematics from the antiquity untill these days. Basic information necessary for the development of an interactive textbook is grounded on theoretical findings in interactive boards and word exercises that have been published recently. The educational material was created in the program Activstudio 3 for the boards of the Activboard type and practically tested with the 8th grade students at the Plesivec elementary school. The other aim of this work is to see the response and attitudes of the students toward this kind of classwork, if it can help them to better grasp the word exercises solutions and to provide the teacher a useful tool for their work with an interactive board, since to create such a groundwork for the lessons by themselves can be very demanding on their time needed for the preparation for their lessons.
THE USE OF COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY IN THE TEACHING OF CHILDREN WITH A HEARING HANDICAP
SOŠKOVÁ, Lucie
Hearing together with speech are the basic means of communication between people. The loss of hearing means disruption of communication as well as orientation in space and movement coordination; the sense of security and self-assurance is lowered. A computer transforms sound data to visual data. This can be used during teaching of speech and vocabulary development. Computers play an ever greater and more important role in the education of the deaf. Programs created for teaching hearing children can be often used for teaching of the deaf. Programs created especially for deaf children also exist. The aim to this bachelor work is to describe the types of activities children with a hearing handicap do with the computer. Stated hypotheses: H1: Computer technology partly bridges the language barriers in communication of children with a hearing handicap. H2: The internet makes communication between children with a hearing handicap easier. I used quantitative research in this work. I chose the method of asking questions; the technique of a questionnaire. The questionnaires were given to children from special schools for children with a hearing handicap and to teachers who teach at these schools. On the basis of the returned questionnaires it can be stated that both hypotheses were proven. According to the research results, 84% of children use a computer for learning. 83% of children have a computer at home. The results of this work can be used within the framework of the structure of education of people with a hearing handicap.

BAŤKOVÁ, Anna
This study addresses the problems of specific learning disorders in elementary school children. It attempts to elucidate individual types of disorders and their most common symptoms in children. The whole study is divided into four chapters. Individual chapters are based on the best known knowledge in the area of specific learning disorders. The first chapter explores the causes of disorders, i.e. the theories attempting to explain specific learning disorders from the viewpoints of genetics, brain disorders, faulty information processing, light mental dysfunctions and last but not least {--} the environmental effects. The next chapter classifies and explains individual diagnostic procedures and tests needed before establishing child{\crq}s diagnosis. The third chapter addresses individual specific learning disorders. It describes their definitions and main symptoms The last chapter is devoted to disorders minimization. There we introduce Individual Educational Plan as well as the exercises appropriate to individual disorders.
The process of education of patients as a part of a nursing process
ŠEFČÍKOVÁ, Michaela
Education is an integral part of the nursing process. It is a proposeful activity, systematic training, which leads to gain knowledge and skills by means of a special process of learning. The aim of this work was to find out, whether nurses provide patients with education within the nursing process and whether patients feel that this education is sufficient enough to keep an optimal level of their health. All hypotheses I have set were confirmed. Apparently, from the results of the survey, health-educational activity, which is in plenary powers of nurses, is done by nurses themselves for the most part, but in some cases also the doctor took part in this activity. Although most of the asked expressed satisfaction with the information provided, there were still clients who were not satisfied with the number of information both theoretical and practical. In most cases, clients said that the instructions, which had been given to them by the nurse within the educational activity, were very significant for improving their health. Cooperation between a nurse and a client is based on a good communication between both parts. The result of this understanding is a situation when a client obeys the instructions given. From results it is obvious that all clients tried hard to keep professional recommendation provided by the nurse and reach the goal this way.Nowadays, the nurse, who is thanks to her learning within the area of education highly professional, puts an emphasis on mutual cooperation not only with the client but also with his family. The nurse respects client´s individual needs and tries to make him participace actively in his health care.

Women in the Family of F.L. Rieger and their Participation in the Public Sphere
Neudorflová, Marie
In second half of the 19th century the women from the Rieger's family were involved in voluntary and pioneering work related to establishing nursery schools, schools for girls, and various assistance to mothers from the lowest social strata. In the background of their work was very specific philosophy, the most important aspects being humanistic, demokratic and Christian principles. The source of this philosophy was the teaching of Bernard Bolzano, jesuit priest, permanently in conflict with the Church. His humanistic, moral and social ideas were influencing students of the Charles University and through his pupils, following generations, including women from the Rieger's family. This article focuses mostly on exposing major aspects of their social philosophy in a broader context.
