Project Management Implementation in the selected company

The thesis is focused on understanding the current state of project management in selected companies, including proposing their own suggestions and recommendations. Own suggestions and recommendations are directly used in the case study of a real project-an exclusive two-days training for exclusive leaders. The thesis has two parts. In the first part are described the elementary terms of project management. Defined individual phases of the life cycle, described selected project documentation and international standards and methodologies of project management. In the second part is a brief description of the selected company, describes the project lifecycle, including comparisons of the international standards and methodology and evaluation deficiencies. Suggestions and recommendations are used in the case study and in the final discussion are evaluated practical suggestions and recommendations.
Managerial competencies

The diploma thesis is focused on the topic of managerial competencies and competency models, as a particular combination of competencies that are necessary for the effective performance of the work. Managerial competencies are in this thesis specifically focused on the competencies of the project manager. The aim of the diploma thesis is based on an analysis to identify the competencies of the project manager and on this basis to develop generic competency model of project manager. The theoretical basis of the work is focused mainly on the issues of the concept of competence, the development, use and types of competencies. Further are processed concepts of the area of managerial competencies and project management on the basis of literature and Internet resources on this topic. Own part is based on analysis of documents, which is the basis for compiling the survey, whose result is a list of selected competencies important for work as a project manager. Based on the list of important competencies is compiled generic competency model project manager. In conclusion summarizes the results from own part.
Analysis of Manufacturing Processes within The Company for the Purpose of their Optimization

This bachelor thesis deals with optimization of production processes in the company, its information and also material flows conducted in planned production. The first part focuses on the theoretical description and background of the issue. In the second, practical part, this work will discuss and then analyze the production process of selected company. According drafted analyzes and theoretical basis, this thesis determine the problems and shortcomings of the process. In the last phase it provides suggestions to improve founded shortcomings and their implementation into production.
Význam behaviorálních kompetencí pro práci projektového manažera

This thesis is elaborated on the theme The importance of behavioural competencies for the work of project manager, which is done through a questionnaire survey on a sample of project managers. The first part is literature search, which includes information on selected issues. This information includes project management and its history, detailed specification of the concept of the project and related concepts. It is focused on the theoretical basis of different approaches to project management, differentiates standards and certification in project management and analyzes in detail the various elements of behavioral competences by IPMA. The practical part first introduces the most important organization for project managers in the Czech Republic, followed by analysis of the survey that a sample of project managers explored their level of behavioral competence and use in everyday project management.
Information System for Project Office

The main objective of my work is to create an internet information system, which will provide to manage project by users.  Based on theory and practical knowledge I designed simply information system of project office. System will allow simply interface to user, which will allow manage own project. To create this system I will use today's commons technologies for building dynamic internet application such as scripting language PHP, mark language HTML and database system MySql.

Abstract The subject of the thesis is "Processing of an offer to a public tender by construction company" from theoretical and practical perspective. In the theoretical part, I define terms related to selecting and processing of the offer briefly. The part describes terms such as marketing, project management methods, project planning including determination of the offer price. I look into the Public Procurement Act, which I consider to be an important control instrument in the processing of offers to public tenders by construction company.

Management of Building Order by the Submitter

The thesis deals with the topic of building orders are how they are managed by contracting authority or client. It presents building order as a project, and describes the way in which this project is organized, prepared and implemented. It also highlights all the factors that have impact on how building orders are managed. And since the most important of these factors is construction costs, the thesis provides an analysis of one particular building order from this perspective, listing all the things that are involved in the construction costs and pointing out in what way. The accuracy of the expected costs is then compared with construction engineering price indicators.
Successful and unsuccessful IT projects

The diploma thesis is focused on successful and unsuccessful IT projects with critical success factors detail. The purpose of the diploma thesis is obtaining a list of critical success factors in the theoretical part. The list could be interesting for success in IT projects. The list of critical success factors will be subject of examination in the practical part. Firstly I will compile a questionnaire which will contain all critical success factors from the theory. In the next step, I will meet with IT project managers who have got a lots of experiences in the branch. After that I will have completed questionnaires by IT project managers and I will evaluate critical success factors. These critical success factors will be compare with the theory. Finally I will create table with the most important critical success factors according to IT project managers.
Project management of business company

This thesis is focused on the evaluation of project management in chosen company,especially projects in the field of aviation. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the project management system in the organization and to suggest possible changes, which will help to improve the prosperity and continuity of the business. In the theoretical part, the author studied the available literature on the basis of which is written a literature review. The practical part describes the system of project management in the organizations. At the beginning there is described the chosen company furthermore individual phases of the project lifecycle, responsibilities of the various participants in the project, needed resources, budget of the project, communication between the participants and used software. Afterwards were described the greatest problems with project management in the company and were suggest possible changes to improve.
