Personnel activities in the selected company

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate personnel activities in the selected company and to suggest changes to improve them. This thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part explains the basic personnel activities. It explains the following activities: job analysis, personnel planning, recruitment, selection and adaptation of employees, performance management and appraisal, placement and termination of employment, remuneration of employees, motivation and employee benefits, education and development, interpersonal relationships, employee care and personnel information system. The practical part describes the personnel activities in the limited liability company GEFOS Inženýring, based on an interview with directress of the company. She allowed me to look into company´s documents. The next chapter analyzes the results of the questionnaire inquiry. These results are supplemented by information from my direct observation. The final part of this thesis evaluates the personnel activities of the company and suggests changes to improve the current situation.
Self-censorship on Facebook

The thesis deals with self-censorship on the biggest online social network Facebook. The main purpose was to determine the reasons for using self-censorship on Facebook. Qualitative research was elaborated with usage of semi structured interview focused on virtual world of active Facebook users and on deeper examination of it. Theoretical part describes concepts and ideas related to the theme of the thesis. The methodological part describes in detail the qualitative research and it's requirements. The analytical part deals with the research itself, analysis of transcribed interviews and with the rules designed by researcher for safe use of Facebook by children. The researcher has decided to set the rules from the findings determined during the creation of the thesis. The self-censorship is the key to the safe behavior on Facebook. Every user of this social network has to learn how to distinguish, what could be placed there and what shouldn't.

Jews and czech society in the years 1945-1948

The following thesis outlines the situation of the Jewish minority in the czech society in 1945-1948. It follows the political situation and the social atmosphere in the postwar period and focuses on the specifics of the Jewish minority. By analyzing interviews with survivors of the Shoah describes how the period saw Jews themselves. It is especially focused on interpersonal relations that prevailed during the return of the survivors back to their homes. Chronologically describes the situation since the liberation of concentration camps, travel home, arriving back where it focuses on a reunion with loved ones, family support, relationships with friends, neighbors and acquaintances behavior and reactions of majority society. It describes how Jews coped with the return to normal life. Interpersonal relations in the postwar period depended mainly on the personality characteristics of people. But one can point out that the greatest support for returning were their relatives and friends who provide support to them in situations where they met with the negative attitude of Czech society. Interpersonal relationships in the novels written by Thomas Lang

The thesis analyses the topic of the interpersonal relations in the first three novels written by a contemporary German writer Thomas Lang. The thesis aims to introduce his work in the Czech environment as he is not very well known even among the Czech Germanists. At the same time, the thesis introduces certain trends in the contemporary German literature. One of its most prominent themes is the problem of the interpersonal relations which provides an inspiration for many authors including Lang. In his work, he deals with a dysfunctional communication caused by the modern life style. Lang tells stories of men and women of his generation, who are very much attached to their careers, live through ups and downs or who live on the margins of society. The characters suffer in their life roles which are dictated by the social conventions and they try to find some other ways of living their lives. The characters' problems are mainly seen in a defective communication within their families. This is the case of Lang's first novel Than (2002) where the main protagonist decides not to speak in order to avoid the contact with other people and to be an unnoticed observer of the events. School as a Successful Company

This work is dedicated to the psychology of work and organization in the elementary school environment and is focused on the relationships of the management of a school with its teachers. The motivation of teachers, the interpersonal relationships, trust and level of awareness become the central themes. At first, the theoretical part zooms in both, people and school management, and then continues to discuss the above mentioned themes. It deals with the theory of motivation and an analysis of concrete motives of teachers, their working group, mutual relationships at workplace and trust, as well as with behavior supporting the creation of trust, communication and consultancy as tools for reinforcing the level of subordinates' awareness. The objective of the emphirical part is to identify possible relationships between personality characteristics of a manager and the perception the teachers have about the working environment and the processes at their school.
Role of director of a kindergarten in shaping school culture

Thesis deals with the role of the director of a kindergarten within shaping of the school culture and with the potential of school culture in terms of contemporary education. Thesis focuses on the factors which the director influences the most and which leads to increased level of quality of teachers' work. In the theoretical part the emphasis is on understanding the concepts in the school culture, school climate, management and leadership and also on relationships in kindergarten, which create and develop a quality society. Further, the thesis concerns the research investigation, which detects the orientation of the issue of school culture and current use of knowledge in connection to the management of kindergarten. The bachelor's thesis "The corporate communication and the working efficiency of employees" deals with relationships problems in workplace. It focuses on defining the basic concepts related to workplace relationships and finding connections between workplace relationships and corporate culture. Describes the values and factors, which affect the corporate culture. The thesis contains a literary search, an analysis of the content and a questionnaire survey that conducts a survey the communication and relationships in the workplace. The final practical section examines the perception and importance of workplace relations in the specific organization. The finish of the thesis study priority communication and interpersonal relationships between employees, effect on working outcomes of employees and the creation of any proposals to improve.
Quest for Perfection in Nathaniel Hawthorne's Mosses from an Old Manse

This thesis is focused on the quest for perfection in Nathaniel Hawthorne's collection of short stories Mosses from an Old Manse. The goal of this work is to answer the question to what extent is the concept of perfection influenced by his Puritan heritage or Transcendentalism of the present day. Therefore, the first part of the thesis deals with the concept of perfection in writings of prominent Puritan and Transcendental authors. Then follow chapters that analyse specific short stories and the concept of perfection used in them. In all cases, there are always two short stories connected with one theme, namely science, interpersonal relationships, and arts.

The Master´s thesis „Stress evaluation, coping and reduction” deals with a very up-to-date subject of employees stress. It analyzes stress types, development, symptoms and influence on health and work results of employees. It also concentrates on factors which evoke the stress, their identification and elimination in corporate environment. The first part of my thesis focuses on theoretical analysis of the above-mentioned issues. Second, practical part deals with the process of finding and evaluting stress factors in a logistic company and its employees. Final part focuses on project of elimination of stress and its factors in the company.
