Significance of developing emotional intelligence in primary schools

This master thesis aims to describe the strategies, methods and forms of work which are effective to promote emotional intelligence in the primary classroom. The theoretical part defines terms related to the topic such as emotional intelligence and its key components. It also deals with the curricular education to emotional intelligence. The aim of the empirical part is based on qualitative method, in-depth interviews and it deals with the questions how teachers think about the concept of emotional intelligence, which methods do they use for developing it and with which problems are they faced with. The empirical part will also provide an insight into the foreign language material which focuses on development of emotional intelligence. Emotional Intelligence and its Measuring

This bachelor thesis includes a summary of famous concepts of emotional intelligence and the use of them. The thesis briefly introduces with their basic features and measure methods connected to the concepts. By this, it shows the stage of development of emotional intelligence today. One measure method will be used in the applicative part of the thesis. The aim of the thesis is to outline alternative ways of understanding the topic of emotional intelligence and different ways of using emotional intelligence in practise. The models are supposed to be compared and contrasted and two people with different emotional intelligence level should be tested. Ten people who know the two, will answer questions about them. The two people will be also tested in one measure method. The results should show, whether there is a difference between a prediction and the test results or not.
Activities fostering cooperative behaviour in pre-school children

The diploma thesis presents a differentiation and description of various forms of interpersonal interaction with emphasis on cooperation and cooperative behaviour from the perspective of sociology, social psychology and psychology of personality. As the research is focused on preschool children, the characteristic traits of this age are specified, specific methods and forms suitable for the development of cooperative behaviour are described as well as the role of the teacher in this process. Moreover, the aim of fostering cooperative behaviour is linked to the educa?tional purpose outlined in FEP PE and Learning: The Treasure Within (four pillars of education). Furthermore, variables related to individual dispositions in respect to cooperative behaviour are briefly analysed. In the research section of the thesis, activities aiming at fostering cooperative behavior in preschool children are presented and evaluated based on their testing in a pre-school: whether/how they really worked in respect to eliciting cooperative behaviour in children.
The Emotional inteligence of pre-school children

The thesis deals with the emotional intelligence and the emotional development of preeschool children. The theoretical part is focused on the definition of the terms children's emotional intelligence, emotions, emotional difficulties and also on possibilities of the emotional intelligence development. The aim of the practical part is to encourage the emotional intelligence development and to catch the process of realization in a group of children. This is complemented by a case history. The study is carried out with qualitative method by way of dialogue and involved observation. The conclusion of the thesis describes the project's realization progress and it finds out the utility of applied techniques from the point of view of the emotional intelligence development support.
Proposal for Improvements of Personal Activities in Organization

This master’s thesis is oriented on human resource management. This thesis analyzes the efficiency of the company with a focus on personal character weaknesses, ie. the organizational structure, competence of manager, combination compensation, system of empleyee appraisal and the stress load at work. It contains proposals for solutions on improving work efficiency through personnel changes.
The connectivity between emotional intelligence and partner satisfaction

This bachelor thesis deals with the connectivity between emotional intelligence and partner satisfaction. The theoretical part is divided into three parts. The first part focuses on the emergence of the construct of emotional intelligence, on the definition of this term and on the theoretical basis of emotional intelligence. Also there is a chapter dedicated to emotions. The second part is devoted to partner satisfaction. The author defines this term and occupies with the various determinants of partner satisfaction. The last part of the theoretical work focuses on the role of emotions and emotional intelligence in the partnership and on the importance of individual competencies of emotional intelligence in partnership with their influence on partner satisfaction. In the empirical part, the author examines whether there is or not a relationship between the level of emotional intelligence and level of partner satisfaction among individuals (n = 178) and among couple (N = 89). Three hypotheses were constructed, the third one consisted of two parts. All hypotheses were supported by the given results.
The Ventilation and Emotion Control of the Children in the Czech Krumlov Kindergarten

The thesis deals with the general subject "the ventilation and emotion-control of the pre-school age children". The theoretical part gathers from literal sources, includes key terms from the sphere of the development of the pre-school age child, emotions and terms which are involved and it particularly maps out pre-school age children's attitude to emotions. The practical part mentions the methods in the interventional program for the effective development of emotion ventilation regarding the pre-school age children. The target of the thesis was finding out some techniques of emotion ventilation and verifying how the techniques of emotion ventilation work on the chosen group of children. In order to meet those targets I used the following methods - interventional program, observing, interviewing, researching four pre-school age children from the Czech Krumlov kindergarten, that were chosen by chance. The first target is completed in the theoretical part where I mention the techniques of emotion ventilation and emotion-control found in professional literal sources. The other target is completed in the practical part of the thesis where the techniques of emotion ventilation are realized through the interventional program. The importance of emotion for the socialization of the child childhood

The thesis deals with the importance of emotions for the socialization of a child in kindergarten and points out possible ways of their development and cultivation. The theoretical part explains the concepts of emotion, socialization, emotional intelligence in the context of pre-school age and their position in pre-school education, defined by the Framework educational program for pre-school education. In the practical part is prepared a project on the development of the emotional intelligence of preschool children and the evaluation of learning outcomes. At the end of the Bachelor thesis are listed the results of the evaluation of the project.

This final thesis introduces empathy like one of the target of education and learning. It defines the terms emotion and emotional intelligence. It gives information about the notion education in the free time ? its characteristic, targets and methods. It deals with possibilities of development of empathy during the education in the free time. It describes the targets of the education in preschool and school age. It deals with the historical development of the term, evolutional conditions to empathy and the connections with the moral cognizance in the chapter about empathy. It describes some of the factors that can develop the empathetic behaviour in the last chapter.
Preschool Children and their Development of Empathy

I deal with empathy of children in this work. I write about emotion in the theoretical part, because emotion is one of the main parts of empathy. What{\crq}s more I mention strategies, that aim to progress of the empathy. I also introduce key parameters. I describe espial and experiment that I did in the time of my practise, in the theoretical part. I was interested if children are already empathic in the preschool age. I offer demonstration of two thematic complexes that I realized during my practise at preschool.
