Creation of laboratory exercises for Renewable sources of energy
Bajgl, Tomáš ; Jandová, Kristýna (referee) ; Křivík, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the transformation of solar and wind energy into electrical energy by using a photovoltaic panel and a wind turbine. The work gives insight into the Czech Republic’s issue of energetics in the context of historical development, the current state, and the expected future development. The primary attention is given to the renewable sources - the solar energy and wind energy. Basic principles of creation and manipulation of solar and wind energy are described in this work. Two laboratory tasks are created for the Renewable Energy Sources' class as a part of the practical part.
Control Processes in Energy Systems with Alternative Power Sources
Morávek, Jan ; Kolcun, Michal (referee) ; Braciník, Peter (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The dissertation is an publication summary focused on the field of management processes in renewable energy systems, mathematical models and optimization possibilities for large and small scale photovoltaic systems. The articles were published in foreign impacted and reviewd journals and indexed proceedings of foreign and domestic conferences. The main results of the dissertation are the design, configuration and realization of the hybrid energy system with subsequent optimization. Using the data from the laboratory system, a mathematical model was compiled and subsequently validated in the Matlab/Simulink environment for a hybrid energy system with accumulation. The options for power production optimization with photovoltaic sources are based on both operational measurements (for commercial applications) and on the analysis of power flow controllers to optimize the~energy balance (for small scale applications in private buildings).
Energy supply of mountain cottage
Flöhsler, Tomáš ; Martinec, Jiří (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this Graduation Thesis is to devise a system of energy supply intended to provide supply of electric and heat energy to a vacation property. The main feature of this energy supply project stands for a shift from mains power supply to alternative energy supply using renewable resources. The reason for this change is the fustiness of power lines and their negative effect on the surrounding landscape. Due to the fact that authorities did not permit renovation of these power lines, the only way to preserve the functionality of the vacation property is to secure its power supply by employing renewable resources. The vacation property (a mountain cottage) is located in Hrubý Jeseník Mountains, approximately 15 kilometers from the town of Šumperk. The thesis also contains a description of the way outlying settlements are currently supplied with energy, including the possibility of accumulation and a brief description of each electrical appliance’s power consumption. In the design itself, I calculated the necessary collector surface and analyzed the most effective collector placement. As for the wind energy system, I had to found the best spot to place the turbine. Last but not least, the thesis contains the technical-economical comparison of the proposed alternatives.
Heating and domestic hot water preparing in family house using solar collector
Langer, David ; Bečvář, Jaroslav (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
Subject of this banchelor's thesis is to design a solar cell - warm water heating systém, which would be used for heating of water and of a family house. Summary of basic options of alternative resources for heating is included. The assesment of economic backflow, when using solar system in combination with other types of energy systems will be as well covered
Compare prices of electricity from nuclear power and renewable energy sources
Sláma, Miloslav ; Varmuža, Jan (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
This work deals with the components that that creates price of electricity and the regulation of electricity prices. It explains methods of regulation, setting electricity prices. It examines the factors that affect it. It also deals with the calculation of the price of electricity from various energy sources. It studies Support RES system, the conditions for obtaining and statistical data on development aid. It adds alternative sources of energy and their future and security.

The Use of Alternative Sources in the Building Industry
Dvořák, Jakub ; Vymazal, Tomáš (referee) ; Žižková, Nikol (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the use of waste as alternative raw materials in construction industry. The first part is dedicated to the historical development of waste management, to the valid legislation in the Czech Republic in 2017 and outlines the distribution of waste according to various criteria. The information about waste production and waste management is processed in the form of tables and graphs. The more extensive second part of the thesis uses theoretical knowledge in the field of waste management and on the base of the Waste Separation Catalog is composed a list of waste materials which can be used in construction industry. Further are described the possibilities of suitable waste utilization at production and also mentioned some particular construction products with their features.

The alternative energy concept of a selected family house as an investment purpose
Musilová, Radka ; Malý, Michal (advisor) ; Michal, Michal (referee)
The master thesis proposes economically convenient combination of heating devices focusing to reduce the operating costs of a house. The thesis consists of three main parts. Methodology, literal review and practical part. The description of each method used in practical path is provided in methodic part. Literal review summarizes basic facts of each energetic sources alternative as well as their support from Czech government. Then, the topics: energetic consumption of a building, investment process, decision criteria and stochastic prediction are discussed. In practical part, several devices to decrease building power consumption are designed. Based on multi criterial analysis including economic aspects together with e.g. environmental policy, the fireplace stoves with heat exchange unit for heating combined with the solar collectors for heating water when stoves are not sufficient is selected as best option. Finally, this device is reviewed from economic view using dynamic methods including inflation and prediction of power sources prices.
Analysis of the Selected Firm
Blumenstein, Martin ; Vaníček, Dušan (referee) ; Hanušová, Helena (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with theoretical and practical analysis of small village Pivín which is located in Prostějov region. In the practical part it specifies problems of the village utilizing SWOT and SLEPTE analyses. In the next part it shows strong and weak points and describes threats that might be faced. It interprets the results and on the basis of the analysis recommends some methods to make the management work effectively. It also tries to find alternative resources of the finance. At the end it suggests possible ways of future development.
