Manufacturing of barrels for hunting weapons
Klusáček, Jan ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the influence of hunting rifle barrel production technology on shooting precise. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the history of production of barrels, their main parts and special production technologies. It also contains an analysis of the specific weapons used in the practical part. In the practical part the shooting precision of these weapons was tested on the shooting range. The final discussion evaluates the data obtained in the practical part.
Effect of alloying elements and texture on plastic deformation of extruded magnesium alloys
Horváth, Klaudia ; Dobroň, Patrik (advisor)
This work is focused on the study of the relationship between microstructure, texture and deformation mechanisms in aluminum-free magnesium (Mg) alloys. Extruded alloys containing zirconium, zinc, manganese and neodymium (ZK10, MN11, ZN11) in a form of rectangular profiles were deformed at room temperature. Uniaxial tensile and compression tests were performed in the extrusion (ED), transversal (TD) and normal direction (ND). The concurrent acoustic emission (AE) measurement was used in order to study the collective dislocation dynamic and the nucleation of twins. The deformation texture was studied by X-ray diffraction on samples deformed in compression up to different stress levels.
Production of pinion
Vališ, Ondřej ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with literature study of cold forming technology. Further the thesis submits a proposal of the production technology of pinion into the gearbox of passenger vehicles made from alloy steel according to ČSN 16 326. Thanks to knowledges aquired by literary study of bulk forming issue was suggested a direct extrusion technology with consequential cold upsetting. The component part will be produced in two production processes and series of fifty thousand pieces per year. These manufacturing processes will be used on forming machine called Schuler with nominal force of two thousand tons which is part of Metaldyne Oslavany company involved in automative industry.

Technology of extrusion
Cháma, Jakub ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is a literary study dealing with extrusion technology and is aimed to be used as a study material. There are described basic principles of technology, the division of methods, used materials, machines, tools and the area of usage. The main focus of this work is to depict advantages and disadvantages of extrusion technology and its application in practice, which is supported by the example of usage in one of the Czech companies called Vítkovice Cylinders.
Line for manufacturing parts for car engine volume thermoforming
Smola, Jiří ; Humlíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Omes, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to design valve production line for combustion engines by volume forming with heat. The production of line will be 2 500 000-10 000 000 pieces per year. In the introduction of this thesis are described production technologies. Next part is about design of production lines and description of each machine for each technology. Then are made the basic calculations for designe for each machine.
Buffer box of a wagon
Řezáč, Patrik ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Dvořák, Milan (advisor)
The subject of this work is the proposal of a technological process to create a train car bumper using volume thermoforming. The S235JR (11375) steel has been chosen as the main material. The work contains technological calculations, blueprint documentation of the mold, of the tool and a proposal of the set of machines for the production line. The capacity of such production line has been calculated to be 12460 pieces per year. Economical-technological evaluation of the production is also included.
Manufacturing of swivel pin
Vávra, Roman ; Šlais, Miroslav (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of a suitable technology for serial production of a pin. The component material is structural steel 11,320 5R. Due to the series production and material savings, the molding technology was chosen to be cold. For production, the CM 4-5 ECO HATEBUR process press was designed with a nominal force of 1 700 kN. Progressive tool and drawing documentation of tools for the final operation were also designed. The tool load was verified by manual calculation, and the finite element method was calculated to heat the formed blank due to molding.
Bulk forming technology of carrier pin
Sejkora, Petr ; Samek, Radko (referee) ; Forejt, Milan (advisor)
Diploma thesis focus on the proposal of the carrier pin production from the steel 17 021 by cold bulk forming technology with sight on the upsetting and extrusion. There were suggested two versions of the technological plan from which was one chosen as optimal. There were carried out calculation of deformation, forming and deformation resistances and forming forces for the chosen version. Machine for the part TPM 12 production was chosen on the basis of the global forming force 660 kN. Furthermore there were proposed forming tools for the second operation – feed forward extrusion. Finally there was made technical and economical evaluation.
