Creating a Storage System in the Selected Company

This Master thesis is an extension of my previous Bachelor´s thesis evaluating logistical framework and implementation of the warehouse management system at DHL Supply Chain s.r.o. and their customer Gross. It emphasizes the processes and optimization in stocks. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of the logistics, process maps, supply chain, SWOT analysis, employee satisfaction and information and communication technologies. In the practical part there are two processes developed into process maps, comparison of storage systems, new warehouse management system implementation progress and employee satisfaction. The result of these findings is the evaluation of the implementation of SAP and to propose a follow-up on the previous productivity.

The theoretical part deals with the explanation of the process approach in business management and defines the basic concepts used, as well as analysis of the current situation in the company. Workflow Design for a Building Company

The thesis deals with workflow design and its implementation in a construction company. The current state of document management is becoming obsolete and insufficient. Thus the company´s board has approved the realization of workflow system. The aim of this thesis is therefore analysis of company´s related processes and design of a workflow model. In addition, the new model is required to be linked with present financial and managerial accounting systems and allow for future adjustments and modifications. Final output of this thesis consists of workflow process maps, risk assessment, budget and time plan of realization.

This master thesis analyzes the processes which assure the quality of the pro-duct, which are held in a international supplier to the automotive industry. On the basis of this analysis were identified tools of quality management in the company and has been evaluated for its time and financial demands. All results were obtained using primary and secondary research. Primary research and data were ensured by structured interviews with employees. Secondary research included the analysis of internal documents of the company. Part of this work was to propose a new framework process map. At the conclusion were summarized the benefits of individual instruments and possible improvements for the company.

Využití simulačních metod pro podporu procesního řízení v systémech integrovaného managementu

The main subject of this thesis consists of analyse aimed on the mapping, modelling and simulation tools for the use in integrated systems of management. The theoretical part of thesis analyses actual subject situation based on the literature research. This part describes mainly used standards and trends, methodology of process mapping, process evaluation, improoving and optimizing. The practical part of thesis includes a model of real manufacturing process and a simulation of its behaviour in the simulation environment Allcelar 2010. The real system is optimized by the use of economic criteria. The thesis employs methods of simulation, modeling and optimization, which are together with the decision making, systems approach, operations research and queuing systems content of the theoretical part. The goal of the submitted thesis is to apply and check gained knowledge for mapping and analyzing of specific business processes followed by the evaluation of its effectiveness and suggestion of its optimization. The area of business processes and process management is described in the theoretical part. Additionally the methodology of business process modeling and methods of process evaluation and process improvement is also described. The practical part is focused on identification of the company's processes, analysis of the innovative processes and evaluation of their effectiveness. The following optimization of the processes is based on the facts found out by the previous research.
Process approach applied in quality management system

The goal of diploma work is to analyze process maps in a company as well as to review level of managing particular processes in relation to their efectivity, performance and effectivness at meeting organization targets. The theoretical part clarifies basis, relevance and principles of quality management. The practical part is focused on mapping quality management system in selected company, especially in the field of process management. First part is oriented to quality system implementation with link to management responsibility, communication and process management support. Second part analysis current system in the company with focus to review of level of particular process management. Third part describes gradual improvement of quality system including evaluation of benefit for the company. Last chapter summarizes outcomin suggestions and recommendations to the company.
