The Gait Analysis of People with the Multiple Sclerosis

The Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is one of the most frequent reason of disability of people in productive age. Fatiglle and motor impairment affect the qllality of patients' life. This bachelor thesis focllses on the gait assessment of people aftlicted with the MS. It describes differences of gait of people aftlicted with the MS in compare to healthy people. The thesis shows clinical tests and relevant functional scales which can be lused for the gait assessment in any clinical practice. Instrumental methods of gait assessment are not discussed. There is one casllistry of people affected with the MS in practice pati ofthe thesis and inf1l1ence of the Vojta's therapy on these gait tests (TUG, T25FW, 1 OMWT, DGI and 6MWT). Endoscopic adenoidectomy - the most important moment in otitis media treatment

This work proves the importance of endoscopic adenoidectomy in secretory otitis media treatment. Efficacy of this operation is considered for all the patients with "glue ear" (177 patients) whitin the group of patients who underwent adenoidectomy or tympanostomy at ENT Clinique FNKV from the 1st of January 2006 to the 31th of December 2006 (total 307 patients). The effectiveness of the therapy is evaluated according to tympanometric and audiometric values and according to the amount of peristent secretory otitis, when reoperation is necessary. The tympanometric values confirm possitive effect of endoscopic adenoidectomy for complete cure of secretory otitis media. The fluid in the middle ear was eliminated in 75 percent of pacients. There is also less readenoidectomies after endoscopic adenoidectomy - as compared to adenoidectomy in inhalation anesthetic. The amount of necessary tympanostomies is reduced too. Significant reduction in morbidity from secretory otitis media after adenoidectomy is shown in few randomized clinical trials mentioned in the text.

Three-phase bone scintigraphy in the diagnosis of neuropathic arthropathy diabetics were subject I am intrigued at first sight . Represented for me possibility in more detail insight into the diagnosis of this not too frequent complications of diabetes. Her lack of early recognition and inappropriately chosen therapy, inclusive mechanical loading leads to the formation of bone deformities and significantly impairs the quality of life of people with disabilities . Conversely, correct and early diagnosis in the acute stage of the pathology allows you to start a relief treat and prevent bone deformation , thus reducing the need for surgical correction or amputation . Diagnostic methods and treatment interventions represent significant opportunity for preventive action in the development and course of the disease . my aim was to assess the status of the previously mentioned radionuclide methods currently practice , or to identify factors that limit its use . At the same time impressed me opportunity to compare the two pathologies , which sometimes cause differential diagnostic embarrassment ; performing a retrospective study to determine whether it is within the three-phase Bone scintigraphy could not be distinguished from each other , by comparing the ratios activities and their quantitative changes in time....

Contentious issues of failure to help

Resumé The aim of this work was to try to analyze the offense of failure to help analyze the issues, which may result from application of this crime, which partially solves the jurisprudence of the courts. I tried to outline my views on this offense, especially on the possibility or impossibility of its application in the field of health care in the provision of health care doctors and nurses (health professionals). I outlined my views on the relationship of the offense to other offenses against life and health, to euthanasia and futile therapy. Did I mention the theory of the guarantor and the possibility of applying this theory in this offense and I was back to tackle the crime of failure to help in Germany, France and the common law type of legal culture. After defining the characteristics of the offense of failure to help I dealt with the definition of certain concepts related to this crime. The primary concept is to define the necessary assistance to prevent imminent death or serious health disorders. In different situation may have needed help to acquire different dimensions. For example, the necessary assistance to the other content in whole helthy humans than in terminally dying terminally ill patient with no chance of recovery or survival or improve quality of life. Possibilities of logopedic intersention in geriatric medical institution

The topic of the thesis deals with the issue of the people after cerebrovascular events and their subsequent rehabilitation. Introduction of the theoretical part is devoted to the definition of age in terms of physiology and psychology. The starting point for a theoretical treatment of the subject is the concept of comprehensive care for people after cerebrovascular events. On the basis of theoretical texts, this part focuses on the most common types of communication disorders in people with neurological disease, especially on aphasia, dysarthria, dysphagia, and cognitive communication disorders. I focused the practical part on the case histories of two patiens at Geriatric and rehabilitation center in Kladno, where I had watched their three-month stay. I gave the greatest attention primarily on speech therapy, but I also focused on other provided care. This section also includes a rating scale of the availability and level of speech intervention. The results of this work is evaluation of speech therapy, physiotherapy and ergotherapeutic activities in a rehabilitation facility. The information should help to consider the need for high quality and comprehensive care for people after cerebrovascular events.

Changes in mental state experienced by patients with diabetes along therapy

The thesis is focused on the problematic of quality of life, depression, eating behaviour and cognitive representations of illness among people with type 2 diabetes. It stems from literature and information about problematic. In the theoretical part, the overview about diabetes mellitus, its symptoms, types, complications, and treatment is outlines. Next topics of this part are quality of life of people with diabetes, especially with type 2 diabetes, depression in people with diabetes and cognitive representations of illness. The empirical part is concentrated on the examination of degree of depresivity, quality of life, eating habits and illness perceptions among people with type 2 diabetes. It compares these variables before and after large intervention program, which is aimed at weight-loss and better metabolic control. And it compares them in relationship to gender and to type of diet.

Administrative delicts relating to the construction and occupancy of buildings

This thesis deals with administrative offences relating to carrying out a construction and to occupancy of a construction. The main reason I have chosen this subject-matter consists in the fact that building and construction law has been, is and certainly is going to be one of the legal domains of major importance in the life of a society. What has, furthermore, motivated me to deal with this subject was the coming into force of the new Construction Act which brings, in many aspects, substantial changes to the current regulation. The subject-matter of my thesis led me, through analysis of different facts of administrative offences under the Construction Act, to a better understanding of all the key institutes of the construction law. The whole work is divided into eight chapters. The first and the second chapter introduce the subject of administrative offence and make for understanding of this institute in a wider context. The first chapter deals with penalty in administrative law which is understood as the decision process of administrative agencies on culpability and liability for illegal conduct. Transit Programme in Agencies of Supported Employment for People with Mental Disabilities

The Diploma thesis "Transition programme in agencies of supported employment for people with mental disabilities" explores the topic of the employment of people with mental disabilities in the open labour market. The theoretical section of this paper aims to clarify the concept of supported employment and to describe its process. On top of that, it deals with the issue of mental disability, in terms of classification, etiology and developmental psychology of the target group of the transition programme. This section also focuses on how the transition programme works, including such matters as education of people with disabilities, as an integral part of preparation for their future occupation. The research section examines how the successful completion of the transition programme impacts the clients, in particular their subsequent work-life, relation with the Agency and additional changes in their lifestyle. The research method was a semi-structured interview with people with mental disabilities and with workers of the agency of supported employment.
