Residential lease - protection of a lessor

The aim of this thesis is to point out the specific status of the lessor in the residential lease within the meaning of the Civil Code, act no. 89/2012. This thesis is composed of five chapters and additional sub-chapters. The main part of this thesis is dedicated to describing the specific areas which might weaken the status of the lessor and at the same time to state selected institutes which through correct use in the residential lease might notably increase legal certainty and status of the lessor. The first chapter serves as the introduction of lease issues and brings the general reflection over the role of lessee and lessor in this legal relationship. At the same time also sets a target of this thesis, which is the statement of the problematic areas of a lease from the perspective of the lessor and suggesting possible solutions. The second chapter includes the fundamental features of the residential lease, with the emphasis on the characteristics and distinctions from other obligations. The third chapter consists of "prohibited agreements" and their impact on a lease and status of the lessor. Using Projects to Motivate Students in Mathematics

This diploma thesis aims to show the possible use of project teaching in order to motivate pupils to study mathematics. The thesis is interspersed with author's self-reflections which came up during her study of motivation questions, project teaching and above all, the construction of projects. The content is divided into five parts. The first of them follows the author's motivation to write this thesis. Second chapter is theoretical; it is concerned with the psychological and didactical point of view on pupils' motivation to study. Third chapter deals with projects. In this chapter, a development of the project method is described, the basic notions are defined, the applicability of projects is analysed from the point of view of new approaches to motivate pupils and the project teaching is characterised as a specific educational theory. The fourth chapter contains a general description of planning and construction of projects in mathematics, an analysis of author's primary projects in comparison with her new knowledge and a new project creation detailed process. Fifth chapter gives information about the Czech education reforms, about the fundamental themes of RVP ZV (General educational programme for elementary school) and about the use of project teaching in school educational programmes. A Czech Reflection on The Demon by Lermontov

Tématem mé diplomové práce jsou české reflexe Démona M. J. Lermontova. Pojem démon se vyskytuje v lidském myšlení již odpradávna. Své místo našel samozřejmě i v dílech mnohých dalších umělců různých dob a národů světa. I tyto podoby démonů mohou být do jisté míry ukryty v Démonu Lermontovově. Na začátek práce jsem proto zařadila kapitolu stručně pojednávající o démonu jakožto kulturním jevu, z níž by měla být patrná proměnnost a variantnost tohoto ambivalentního pojmu. Démon je ústředním tématem veškeré tvorby M. J. Lermontova. Přestože je odrazem dobové společenské situace, generační výpovědí, čistě romantickým symbolem a v návaznosti na křesťanskou věrouku vyjádřením věčného protipólu dobra, skrývá v sobě především vlastnosti svého tvůrce. Démon je v první řadě vyslovením autorova životního pocitu, zrcadlem Lermontovova nitra. Problematiky vzniku a vývoje démona v životě i díle M. J. Lermontova se týká kapitola Démon v díle M. J. The agricultural year in the middle age in archeological sources

Zemědělství je základní potřebou lidské společnosti. Patří k nejdůležitějším výrobním odvětvím a bylo první ze všech činností člověka, které významně zasáhly do jeho životního prostředí. Vývoj zemědělství probíhá spolu s vývojem společnosti. A naopak, společnost se rozvíjí i díky úspěšnému zemědělství. Daný vztah je vzájemný. Podobně jako jiné obory lidského snažení i dějiny zemědělství v sobě zahrnují množství otázek, jež se zdají být nevyčerpatelné. Šíře dané problematiky výrazně přesahuje rozsah této práce. I přestože zde není prostor na rozpracování všech problémů, je důležité alespoň některé z nich, které bezprostředně souvisejí se zemědělskou výrobou, stručně zmínit. V první části proto velmi zlehka nastíním otázky klimatu, zemědělských systémů, výnosnosti, vztahu rostlinné a živočišné výroby a sepjetí vývoje středověké společnosti a krajiny s vývojem zemědělství. Úkolem této práce je rekonstrukce zemědělského roku středověkého rolníka v českých zemích ve vymezeném období od 6. do 13. století s využitím pramenů archeologických, ikonografických, písemných a etnografických. V jednotlivých kapitolách se budu zabývat základními fázemi zemědělského cyklu a popisem činností, které v něm probíhají. The Position of Russian-Speakers Minorities in the Baltic States with the Accent on the Situation in Lithuania

This Diploma paper The Position of Russian- speakers minorities in The Baltic states with the accent on the situation in Lithuania concerns about the position and actual problems of Russian- speakers minority in Lithuania and I try to compare it with different situation of Russian-speakers minorities in neighbouring Latvia and Estonia. When The Baltic states proclaimed the independence at the beginning of 1990's, after The collapse of The Soviet Union, only Lithuania decided to grant its citizenship to all applicants. This political decision has helped a lot to decrease a possibility of interethnic conflict. Diploma paper consists of three parts. In the first part you can find introduction to The ethnic minorities question and the theory of ethnicity. The second part is about the history of The Russian-speakers minority in The Baltic states, especially in Lithuania from the medieval ages to the end of The Soviet Union. The third part of my Diploma paper is fully concerning about the situation and actual problems of Russian-speakers minority in Lithuania and I try to compare it with much more complicated situation in Latvia and Estonia thanks to different demographic structure of societies and state national minorities policies. Young people's language in new media

This diploma thesis deals with electronic form of the language of young people on social networks. Based on a more than three-year monitoring of events on social networks, the typical and specific features of communication of the youth in new media are examined and analyzed in the thesis. The first part introduces the reader especially the issues of application and changes of the language under the impact of new media; the second part focuses more on problems of social networks - it brings their definitions, deals about their origin and importance. The third and most extensive part consists of an analysis of the language of the youth on social networks, substantiated with concrete selections. The final chapter is made up by a questionnaire proving how the language on social networks is reflected by its users among young people.

Lipid lowering treatment substantially reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases. The effects of lipid lowering go far beyond limiting the extent of atheroslcerotic lesions and decreasing the severity of atherosclerotic stenoses. Recently recognised effects of cholesterol on plaque stability, endothelial function, thrombosis, and plaque inflammation have been subject to intensive research during the past two decades. The effect lipid lowering treatment on the various aspects of the plaque development are being investigated in search of novel therapies to reduce the risk of ahterosclerosis. In this work, we examined cell adhesion molecules, microvascular reactivity and metalloproteinase PAPP-A in patients with hypercholesterolemia and investigated the effect of lipid lowering with atorvastatin and LDL-apheresis. Leukocyte and endothelial adhesion molecules mediate leukocyte recruitment into subendothelial space, contributing thus to plaque inflammation. Present state and the future of asylum policy

Svou práci soustřeďuji kolem problematiky osob v právním postavení uprchlíka žádajících mezinárodní ochranu formou azylu. Vycházím z mezinárodních principů , které si stanovila OSN, připojuji koncepci Evropské unie a konečně i praxi v jednotlivých státech. Analyzuji a srovnávám, způsob jakým mají vybrané státy azylovou problematiku ošetřenou, komu a na základě jakých kritérií tuto ochranou instituci udělují. Dále sleduji, jak se jejich přístupy vzájemně odchylují či přibližují a jestli směřují k naplňování vize jednotného společného evropského azylovému systému. V neposlední řadě zkoumám, jestli se na pojetí politiky udělování azylu odrazily mezinárodní teroristické útoky. Vývoj sleduji za léta 2001 a 2004 ve vybraných evropských zemích. Zahrnuji zde dvě skupiny zemí, země s koloniální tradicí a delší zkušeností s problematikou ( Velká Británie, Francie, Švédsko) a země Višegrádské čtyřky( Česká republika, Polsko, Maďarsko a Slovensko), které jsou vzájemně porovnatelné díky podobné historicko- politické platformě a kde se vlivem této zkušenosti azylová politika nově konstituuje. Eritrea and Somaliland - comparison of independence struggle

The aim of this thesis is to compare efforts of Eritrea and Somaliland to obtain independence and to find out why Eritrea was in independence obtaining succesful and Somaliland not. Chapter 1 offers a basic theoretical background concerning a question of international law and formation of a state. Based on basic international law documents regarding this topic it describes crucial terms and principles. Further it discusses a question of secession justifiability and it concerns also application of theoretical principles in reality. Chapter 2 includes basic geographical information and ethnical characteristics of population of both regions. Chapter 3 briefly describes history of both states from their emergence up to the beginning of fifties of the last century. The aim of this chapter is to describe international and internal influences which formed uniqueness of both regions within parent states which later supported the efforts to obtain independence. Chapter 4 is devoted to a concrete description of both areas' efforts to obtain independence in the second half of 20th century. It focuses mainly on international negotiations regarding future of both countries, formation and development of independence movements and the concrete course of independence declaration. Problém negramotnosti ve světě

Práce uvádí do problematiky světové negramotnosti s teoretickou základnou. Práce je rozdělena na 2 části: na teoretickou a empirickou. Cílem teoretické je vymezení pojmu negramotnost a termínů, užívaných v souvislosti s tímto tématem. Cílem empirické části je zjistit aktuální úroveň analfabetizmu a jeho vývoj v průběhu historie na základě získaných dat. Za dílčí cíl je považována komparace negramotnosti ve vyspělých a rozvojových zemích světa.
