Analytic and synthetic approach to metrical tasks in space solving
Kreslová, Iva ; Moravcová, Vlasta (advisor) ; Halas, Zdeněk (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with metric tasks in space, using synthetic and analytical geometry. In addition to explaining the different approaches, there is a set of examples to practice. The solution of the examples is part of the Portal of High School Mathematics (Portál středoškolské matematiky), where we can and analytical solutions, synthetic numerical solutions and synthetic constructional solutions.
Security application of mmWave sensors
Petržela, Lukáš ; Zamazal, Michal (referee) ; Valach, Soběslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on possible use of Texas Instrument´s sensors in security systems, especially for perimeter securing. It includes the overview of radar technology principles and describe of Texas Instrument´s radars principle. Appropriate sensors location has been designed and implemented, and a communication protocol has been designed. The functionality and reliability of the proposed solution has been verified. The results are analyzed and evaluated.
Music Volume Adjustment Based on Distance Detection
Serečunová, Stanislava
The work is focused on user distance calculation from camera in real time by means of evaluating parameters of detected face. According to the distance of user from the camera sound level is adjusted, so the user can perceive the music on the same level. KLT method is chosen for the detection of face.
Emotional Cartography
Rygálová, Monika ; Pfeiffer, Jan (referee) ; Sterec, Pavel (advisor)
The work aims to artistically compile perception of maps as a fact, what let us think about The world - how we know it from the map. I work with data, which I gain by displaying technology – eye tracking, which helps me to record track of moving eyes during watching any kind of picture. The observations will be people from different places such a place of stay etc. Gained data I am going to use as a study, which I will componate to maps and different vizualizations of world, countries etc. "Where i have not ever been before, it does not exist" – is idea of percepting world, wich I also work with on that project. Study will contain all aspect of perceiving maps and systematicly shown world related to the person, his memories to that place, fyzical contact and his impact in his scale person versus a the world.
Objects outline and image matching
Kvasnička, Petr ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to get acquainted with problem of detecting the object with sketch, diagram or contour, which should represent the object to be compared. The thesis deals with how to solve this problem. Part of the thesis contains theoretical methods that manage to evaluate the degree of similarity between the unknown object and less accurate sketch. Each of these methods includes customized edits from the viewpoint of image pre-processing. The thesis deals with some methods in more detail. Selected methods are implemented and tested on the created database. In the last step of the thesis these realized methods are compared to each other.
Analysis of player's load in national handball match
Hokr, Jaromír ; Tůma, Martin (advisor) ; Malý, Tomáš (referee)
Title: Analysis of player's load in national handball match Aim: The aim of the work was to measure the internal and external load of the national handball players during the second league match and then to analyze the data. Methodology: 7 players from TJ Šroubárna Žatec took part in the measurement, including 1 defender, 3 midfielder and 3 strikers. Prior to the load measurement, the maximum heart rate was determined for each player using the Yo - Yo Intermittent Load Test by using the Polar Team 2 Sporttesters. The load measurement took place in a second - league match between TJ Šroubárna Žatec and TJ Spartak Rožmitál pod Třemíšnem. The measured data was processed in MS Excel. The level of statistical significance was set at p <0.05. Results: The results show that the longest distance players have traveled in the zones of staying (49.2% distance), walking (26.5% distance) and running (15.4% distance). They spent the longest time in the zones of the staying (54.5% of the time), walking (21.6% of the time) and the troting (19.5% of the time) and their heart rate was mostly in the zones 80-90% SFmax (28.2% time), 70-80% SFmax (23.1% of time) and below 60% SFmax (18.5% of time). The average speed of the players was 2.3 km / h and the average heart rate was 146 beats per minute. The average distance...
The determination of the route for running footraces by a modification Travelling Salesman Problem
Havel, Filip ; Borovička, Adam (advisor) ; Fábry, Jan (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with finding the optimal route for running footraces. This work seeks to find a link that determines a lap with a predetermined beginning and a goal at the same time, given the possibility of 251 intersections. This model is derived from the travelling salesman problem, whose primary task is to pass the specified set of places according to the shortest route or in the shortest possible time and to return back to the starting point while visiting each place only once. Of course, the routes searched for in this work may be differentiated in several aspects. First of all, it is not necessary to include all of the places you can visit multiple times. The resulting route does not have to be the shortest, but it should have a certain span of distance, as the height metrics obtained are the key factor for optimization. A solution with the exact methods will be demonstrated by the LINGO optimization software, but only for a higher computational difficulty with a limited range of tasks, 21 junctions in the city center. Determining a longer route on a larger set of intersections will allow for derived heuristics with working names: the furthest neighbor with the smallest ascent and a minimal profile change. Part of the thesis is a detailed description of the mathematical model used, the general procedure, along with both a demonstration and an analysis of the applied heuristics.
The influence of variable conditions on golf putting
Brožka, Matěj ; Gryc, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kočíb, Tomáš (referee)
Title The influence of variable conditions on golf putting Objectives The aim of this study was to determine the accuracy of putting stroke in variable conditions. The main objective was to determine if the result of putting stroke influenced by the lenght and slope of the green. Another aim was to determine the effect of the performance of players by golf handicap to result of putting stroke in variable conditions. Methods The sample consisted of 34 golfers (age = 33,8±11,6 years) in the tournament at the Golf Club Český Krumlov. Probands were asked to make 24 putts from different distances and directions. Aftere every putt the position of the ball was recorded on a video camera. Record from each camera was copied to a software TEMA. I evaluated the data in software Excel using the functions of frequency, average, standart deviation, the range. Results Research has found that the result of putting stroke affects the distance from where the ball was played and direction. The highest frequency of made putts was from most shortest putt to the longest and from downhills putts. The smallest average distance from the ball to the hole was from uphills putts, but ball often ended in front of the hole. Keywords Golf, putt, stroke result, distance
Treasure islands: the economic analysis of tax havens
Filip, Ondřej ; Janský, Petr (advisor) ; Adam, Tomáš (referee)
Bachelor Thesis Abstract This thesis strives to introduce a wider notion of tax havens. We alter a traditional paradigm by investigating tax havens' influence on economic performance of other countries. The first part of the thesis copes with issues implied by the absence of a suitable tax haven's definition which results in compiling an inclusive list of havens. Subsequently, we present a data-based description of the identified tax havens with an emphasis on several widely-held assertions. The second part delivers an empirical analysis. It illustrates the role of tax havens as financial intermediaries. We examined whether the volumes of capital flows between non-havens and tax havens correspond to the sizes of the counterpart economies and to their mutual distance. Foremost, we found intensified capital flows between tax havens and large non-haven countries in their close proximity. The thesis concludes by a discussion of results.
