Analysis of the shopping centre market in the Czech republic and Slovakia

Dominant theme of the bachelor thesis is the analysis of shopping centre market in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The thesis is devided into three chapters. The first chapter defines the concepts of retailing from the theoretical aspect. The second part also consists of the theoretical disclosure, describing the evolution of retail units since the first retail markets had shown up in the seventh century. In the meantime the real retail market started to grow in the USA. Across the world, developers of shopping centers have broken free of their traditional boundaries, explore new markets and new territories. As Europe could not resist incoming trends, shopping centers started to appear concurrently in the Czech Republic and Slovakia too. Based on the historical data and figures from the previous shopping centre's development, as well as considering the theoretical characteristics of simple Central European retail formats, the aim is to shadow the shape of future retail formats to be build in coming years in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The shopping center of 2015 will likely be a unique hybrid, slightly different than what we used to know. The third part content is focused on the analysis of two model shopping centers. One is located in the Czech Republic -- NISA Shopping Center in Liberec and the other stands in Slovakia, Banská Bystrica and it is called EUROPA Shopping Center. The conclusion is rather analythical. Besides the SWOT analysis of the centres it specifies the way of dellimitation of catchment areas. Methods of runoff components separation

The paper deals with monitoring and measurement of runoff. This is particularly important to identify water supplies in the catchment area, or timely detection of extreme hydrological events such as floods and droughts, and because of the potential rate of spread of pollutants. The value of the runoff is particularly important for irrigation needs for agriculture. Further work is focused on the individual components of runoff, the methods used for their separation and a detailed description of various types of runoff. The practical part includes measurement of the discharge at the Jennínsky stream catchment, located near the border with Austria, the Český Krumlov district. For analyses discharge from the hydrological years 2005 ? 2008 was chosen. And using the three selected methods of separation (method GROUND, method and method MPGM digital filter according to Chapman), which are further described and explained. These methods divide runoff into the baseflow component and direct runoff component. These results are further compared with the method of reccesion curve analyses performed on four events. The work should show the differences in results of various methods.

Marketing research during development of the shopping centre Černý Pelikán

Master's thesis "Marketing research during the development of the Black pelican shopping centre" deals with the use of marketing research in the preparatory and the operational phase of the project Black Pelican shopping centre. The shopping centre is to be completed in the downtown of the České Budějovice in 2011. Theoretical part of the thesis dealing with the basics of marketing research is followed by the marketing research analysis during the preoperational part of the project. In this analysis, particular emphasis is set on the methodology of the carried out studies and on the summary of the importance of the marketing research in the project of Black Pelican shopping centre.. Next part of the thesis deals with the importance of the marketing research since the opening of the commercial gallery Black Pelican. . Beside the specific research studies that are proposed in this part of the thesis and that should be implemented, their organizational backup is also described.

Solution of soil protection from erosion in researched catchment.

Annotation Erosion is a chronic problem in both agricultural and nonagricultural land. Its has an inconsiderable effect on overall stability of landscape. In the case of farming management on agricultural soils the risk of erosive processes increases severalfold. In foothill and mountain areas with dominance of slopes and hills the soil loss during higher maximum 24hrs N-rainfalls can reach up to several tons per hectare. This work deals with the evaluation of soil erosion vulnerability in selected catchment {--} Ostrice catchment {--} in the Lipno reservoir area. The CN method was used for calculations and following evaluation of soil loss.

Floristic research in the basin of Pozdeňský and Bilíchovský creeks of Slánsko

In title of study are used the names Pozdeň stream and Bílichov stream, but it{\crq}s only local description. The search had been realised during the vegetation seasons of the years 2006 and 2007. There are characterised geological-petrographical, soil, climatic, hydrographic ratios and basic phytogeographical characteristics of this area in the form of a search. Selected genera of the observed plants are characterised and their incidence is figured in the schematic map of the area. There were found out 299 genera of plants, from which there are 48 stated in the Červený a černý seznam cévnatých rostlin České republiky (stav v roce 2000) (Procházka F. (ed.), 2001). There are described locations of important genera of plants. In discussion of the thesis are described factors, which influence the incidence of some genera of plants. In the annex there are attached schematic maps with places of occurence of the plant genera and photographic documentation. Head of the diploma thesis: Mgr. Rostislav Černý, CSc.
