Communication of Bilingual Children of Younger School Age Living in North Rhine-Westphalia

The thesis deals with communication of bilingual Czech-German families in North Rhine- Westphalia. We focused mainly on the language of primary school children. The work contains two sections - a theoretical and a practical section. In the first, theoretical part of the work we tried to describe (on the based on literature) the issue of bilingualism, bilingual education and language acquisition. We also discussed the development, more specifically of primary-aged children. Attention in this section is also drawn to the region of North Rhine- Westphalia, where our research was realized. The practical part of the thesis focusses on the qualitative research of communication in multilingual families. We tried to create language biographies of individual families, based on interviews with Czech-speaking parents. Using a questionnaire, we investigated the attitudes of German-speaking parents to bilingual education. We also recorded the linguistic performances of children, which were then analyzed. Patients'Recruitment Issues in Clinical Trials

This thesis examines patient recruitment in clinical trials. It is a current and pressing issue, which is not sufficiently embedded in the thinking of doctors and patients, their patterns of communication, and more broadly in the traditional doctor-patient relationship, which continues to be burdened by post-socialist paternalism. The formal framework and ethics have been developed relatively recently, and their application causes confusion to all participants regarding how to proceed in specific situations. In addition, the choice of topic, and especially the form of dealing with the topic, was motivated by the relative lack of academic resources and publications in the field. The theoretical section of the thesis defines clinical research and its phases, and introduces basic terminology and documents closely linked to clinical research. In addition, it focuses on research ethics, thoroughly examining the issue of informed consent - a fundamental document necessary for recruiting a patient in a clinical trial. Finally, one chapter of the thesis focuses on the issue of medical literacy, the level of which is integral to the participants' understanding of the importance of clinical research, and directly affects participants' decision-making. Samozsi's Rehabilitation Singing Method

The main goal of this thesis is the description of rehabilitation voice method of Lajos Szamosi, which is not well-known and which is worth getting acquainted with. I described it on the basis of my own observation of the teacher's lessons, and I discussed it with them. As documentation I apply DVD records of individual lessons with different teachers to see their own way o f using Szamosi's rehabilitation voice method. I also apply records of voice development of one student. This thesis also contains basic information about individual teachers which use this method, and two stories of students whose voices were rehabilitated by this method. The first part of this thesis is about voice disorders and defects. For making professional description a long term observation of selected students, recording of their voice development, documentation of their voice problems and rehabilitation process would be necessary. The usage of derivatives in order to hedge th exchange rate risk

This thesis proposes to the reader the solution of how to quantify and later eliminate the exchange rate risk using the zero cost option strategies. First chapter is dedicated the conception of the exchange rate risk, to its structure and the potential elimination of the sub- risks. Second chapter deals with the methods of quantification of the exchange rate risk. In this chapter a traditional method and Value at risk are mentioned. Third chapter defines the terms- derivative, option, main option positions, factors influencing the option premium and its importance via making option strategies and taking decisions whether to hedge or not. Last chapter uses all the pieces of knowledge in practice. Several zero cost strategies are shown here also with the illustrative examples.

Vztah měnové a fiskální politiky ČR v letech 1993 - 2004 a perspektivy jeho vývoje v souvislosti se vstupem do EU

Tato práce se zabývá vztahem České národní banky a vlády v letech 1993 ? 2004 a následně hodnotí naplňování konvergenčních kritérií v měnové a fiskální oblasti a jeho perspektivy. V úvodních částech práce jsou prezentovány teoretické aspekty tohoto tématu ? je charakterizována měnová a fiskální politika a dále model IS-LM, který bývá využíván k analýze dopadu kroků v měnové a fiskální oblasti. Praktická část se snaží popsat a zhodnotit opatření měnové a fiskální politiky ve sledovaných letech. Druhá část práce je věnována otázce přijetí eura. Jelikož je vstup do eurozóny podmíněn splněním maastrichtských kritérii, zkoumá tento oddíl do jaké míry dochází z hlediska těchto kritérii ke konvergenci v měnové a fiskální oblasti a uvádí také současné prognózy. Na základě těchto zjištění se pak snaží odhadnout možný okamžik vstupu do měnové unie a kroky v jednotlivých oblastech, které bude ještě třeba vykonat.

Financial analysis of selected enterprises

The thesis deals with the financial analysis of the company Breweries Lobkowicz Group a.s. in 2010 - 2014 period. It is divided into theoretical and practical part.
Theoretical part focuses on general problematics of the financial analysis. Fundamental terms as balance sheet, profit and loss account, cash flow account are explained in this part of the thesis. However it also analyzes each indicator used in the practical part. Firstly, horizontal and vertical analysis of the financial records are introduced, also differential and ratio indicators are explained, specifically current ratio, quick ratio, cash ratio, profitability of total property and ordinary capital, rentability of sales. Subsequently the thesis describes the rate of indebtedness of the company and indicators of the activity - turnover of the individual components of the assets side. The final subtopic is the overall indexes of rating, specifically as for solvency models Kralick´s Quicktest and as for bankruptcy ones Altman´s model and Index IN05.
The practical part introduces the company Breweries Lobkowicz Group a.s. and the individual methods and indicators mentioned in the theoretical part are applied. Using these indicators the financial analysis itself is carried out. To summarize, the company is long-term loss-making but year-on-year the loss is decreasing. The company registered big progress in 2014 when its own capital reached positive numbers. This change has a positive impact on the development of most of the indicators used in the financial analysis.

Jak ovlivňuje nasazení podnikového systému úspěšné podnikání firmy

Cílem práce je podat ucelený přehled o systémech ERP (včetně jejich rozšíření), popsat přínosy jednotlivých modulů systému ERP, obecně představit metriky použitelné pro kvantifikaci nákladů a přínosů informatiky a uvést některá jejich specifika. Dalším samostatným cílem je popsat a okomentovat variabilitu názvosloví napříč celou prací. Celá práce tak přináší přehledný popis systému typu ERP a poskytuje základní orientaci v problematice metrik a měření podnikové informatiky. Práce je rozdělena do několika oblastí. První část se zabývá problematikou informační společnosti a informací. Druhá část mapuje vývoj podnikových informačních systémů (PIS) a jejich typy z hlediska způsobu pořízení. Popisuje současný stav dané oblasti a uvádí některé vyhlídky do budoucnosti. Třetí celek, dekompozice PIS, se zabývá dvěmi složkami PIS, kterými jsou lidé a ERP systémy. V případě lidí uvádí jejich vlastnosti, u ERP pak vlastnosti, skladbu a popis funkcí jednotlivých modulů. Čtvrtá, poslední a nejrozsáhlejší část, přibližuje problematiku měření IS/IT. Konkrétně jsou uvedeny problematiky měření nákladů, přínosů. V závěru je popsána problematika úzce provázaná s měřením a řízením IS/IT. Práci je vypracována metodou rešerše informačních zdrojů a doplněna o závěry ze studia příslušné literatury.
