Large fixed price projects planning and analysis
Král, Miroslav ; Chlapek, Dušan (advisor) ; Reich, Pavel (referee)
A large number of different methods in the field of estimation of IS/IT projects have been developed in past years. Those methods should be used with regard to several factors. The choice and the application of an estimation method should take into consideration the current phase of each project and the wide variety of external factors, whose composition and intensity are very diverse and individual. The accuracy of the estimation considerably influences the success of the whole project. Therefore it is crucial to pay special attention to the mentioned phenomenon. The aim of this diploma thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of the issue of the estimation of large projects for fixed price. The objective is particularly fulfilled by the provided overview and definitions of the chosen methods, the list of the most common mistakes and the interpretation of the results of an analysis concerning the portfolio of projects that were realised in an international company. The expected outcome of the diploma thesis is represented by the definition of the procedurally correct and comprehensive description of the creation of the price for a project with the fixed extent of work, which can be guaranteed with a reasonable rate of risk by a supplier. Another outcome of the thesis is the interpreted outputs of the analysis concerning the portfolio of projects realised by the international supplier of IS/IT products and services, which can be exploited for more effective estimations and project portfolio management.

Holík, Martin ; Plíva, Stanislav (advisor) ; Horáček, Vít (referee)
11. SUMMARY Public procurement contracting in the Czech Republic is carried out according to the Act on public procurement. Contracting authorities of public procurements are entities of public law (state, region, municipality or another legal person of public law) as well as private persons if they order contracts paid by a public contracting authority at least by one half (that means subsidised contracting authorities) or carry out the so-called relevant activity (that means sector contracting authorities). The Act on public procurement regulates the actual contracting as well as supervision above contracting. Contracting is one of six types of contracting process. It is about a pre-contracting process that must be kept before entering into a contract by each entity, which is a contracting authority of public procurement. Supervision above contracting is done by the Office for the Protection of Competition. We divide public procurements according to the subject of fulfilment and also according to the expected value. If it is according to the subject of fulfilment, these are public procurements above the limit, under the limit and small scope ones. If it is according to the expected value, these are public procurements for services, supplies and construction works. Public procurements are paid from public...

Ordinary Legal Remedies in Czech Criminal Procedure
Vojta, Martin ; Spirit, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with the topic of judicial remedies admissible against decisions, which haven't become legally effective. The Czech Criminal Procedure recognizes three kinds -- appeal, complaint and protest against criminal writ. The first part contains commentary on leading principles and maxims of criminal remedial proceeding. It is followed by thorough examination of the three currently effective judicial remedies. This part is divided according to individual elements of these remedies such as: essential requirements on form and content, allowed reasons and object, entitled persons, the procedure itself and possible outcomes. The last part briefly summarizes expected changes that will be brought about by the new legislation, which is being prepared at the time. Remedial Criminal Procedure represents although it is not compulsory a vital stage of Criminal Procedure in any democratic country. It helps to guarantee its fairness and righteousness. Legal remedies contribute to the protection of human rights touched by the state during criminal trials.

Najman, Jiří ; Damborský, Milan (advisor) ; Čadil, Jan (referee)
The main aim of this thesis is to find regularities and patterns of banking branches distribution in particular regions. In the first part of the work there is a detailed overview of location behaviour of the selected banks in the Czech regions and districts. The second part represents simple process of finding ideal location for future bank branches establishing. This process is also applied to case studies, which are part of this thesis as well. The results show that geographical distribution of selected banks corresponds to the urban system of the Czech Republic. The capital city of Prague proved to be exceptional considering urban structure of the Czech republic. The analysis shows quite high differences in bank branches distribution in Czech districts. Very high concentration in relation to number of inhabitants was recorded in border districts of Plzeňský region and Jihočeský region. On the other hand, Most district and Ústí nad Labem district still offer high potential for bank branches expansion. We can expect continuing of bank branches expansion, because branches still have irreplaceable position regarding bank operations and creating new bank accounts.
