The issue of extremism at high schools in the District of Prachatice and subsequent preventive measures.
MARTÍŠKOVÁ, Petra
This bachelor?s thesis addresses the issue of extremism in the secondary schools in the Prachatice District and the preventative programmes that the schools implement in order to combat this social phenomenon. The objective of the thesis is to identify the attitudes and opinions of the secondary school students in Prachatice about the issue of extremism and to find out how much information the students have about this issue. The thesis also aims to determine whether there are any differences between the attitudes of male and female students with regard to extremist behaviour in society, either positive or negative. In addition, the thesis explores any differences, if any, in the knowledge and attitudes held by students about this social phenomenon on the basis of the type of secondary school they attend, specifically grammar schools vs. vocational schools. The thesis includes a description and evaluation of the effectiveness of the preventative programmes that have been implemented in the secondary schools. These programmes are evaluated both from the perspective of the secondary school students as well as from that of the non-profit organisations that prepare these programmes for the schools. The results from the research and the evaluation of the findings are presented in the conclusion of the thesis.

The Abortion and Euthanasia as an Issue of the theme of Process of Dying and Death for the Lessons of Ethics on the Secondary Schools
SEKYRKOVÁ, Michaela
The thesis deal with the topic of induced abortion and euthanasia as the basic issue of the theme of process of dying and death. The theoretical part presents how an acceptation of death have been changing during the human history, deals with the concept of after-life in five world religions, presents how death is perceived in different life period, gives the analysis of abortion and euthanasia as an issue of ethics. The second part od the thesis is to serve as the background material to design lessons of ethics for the secondary schools according to the RWCT program (Reading and Writing Critical Thinking). The aim is to depict the topicality and importance of these issues that a disciple is not only to meet during the lesson, but also to be able to handle, to judge and to draw conclusions for his behaviour.

Three-phase induction machine fed by frequency inverter
Fiala, Zbyněk ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
The thesis analyses losses in the three phase induction motor with a focus on iron losses. In the first instance the three phase induction motor and the losses in it are described. The analytical calculation and the simulations in the RMXprt software are performed. The measurements were made with a different frequency (40, 50, 60Hz) and behaviour of supply voltage on a motor TM90-2S by EMP Slavkov. In conclusion the results of calculation, simulation and measurements are compared.

Real-Time Illumination of a Scene
Martanovič, Lukáš ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Navrátil, Jan (advisor)
This thesis is focused on describing methods of computation of global illumination of 3D graphics scenes in real-time. First chapter contains brief introduction to the issue of global illumination (GI) computation, as well as quick summarisation of principles of most commonly used GI computation approaches. A method of visibility computing for indirect illumination, taking advantage of Imperfect Shadow Mapping, is introduced next. After closer examination of this method and prerequisite algorithms follows a description of its practical implementation, as well as of the structure of simple demonstrative application. Next chapter then contains testing and brief examination and evaluation of resulting program's behaviour. Finally, a possible method extension by means of virtual point light clustering is proposed.

Algorithm for automatic selection of suitable equipment type from heat exchanger database
Havlů, Michal ; Kohoutek, Josef (referee) ; Jegla, Zdeněk (advisor)
Thesis is devoted to development of an database algorithm for selection (or necking selection) of suitable type of heat exchanger for given industrial application. Database creates a part of multipurpose calculation system containing three individual modules: (i) module for selection (or necking selection) of type of heat exchanger for given application, (ii) module for thermal-hydraulic design or rating of heat exchanger, (iii) module for calculation of investments and operating cost. Thesis describes details of method for selection of suitable heat exchanger type for given application and presents and discuss individual criteria for selection process which influence values in tables of priorites for given equipment. These tables are unavoible part of selection algorithm. Details of software application of selection algorithm are also presented in the thesis. Description of behaviour of individual types of heat exchanger creates important part of thesis. Practical application of developed selection algorithm is demonstrated on several industrial examples.

Selected frequency filter design methods using non-traditional active elements
Omasta, Zdeněk ; Koton, Jaroslav (referee) ; Herencsár, Norbert (advisor)
This master’s thesis is bent on comparison of four newest method of analog frequency filter design. After the introductory part, a description of properties and internal structure of active elements (Second-Generation Current Conveyor), VG-CCII (Variable Gain Current Conveyor), VCG-CCII (Voltage and current gained second generation current conveyor) a CFTA (Current Follower Transconductance Amplifier) is mentioned. This active elements are used in subsequent design. At the next part, process of frequency filters design by generalized method of filter design flowing from the full admittance network, by extending autonomous circuits, design using the signal flow graphs theory and design with synthetic high-order elements are presented. Thirty nine autonomous circuits are derived from full admittance networks with one and two active elements CFTA. Selected autonomous circuits are used for direct design of frequency filter and for filter design by extending autonomous circuits. Produced structures guarantee the possibility of controlling the quality factor Q0 independently of the characteristic frequency f0. Three frequency filters are designed by method using the signal flow graph theory. Active elements CFTA, VG-CCI and VCG-CCII are used. Full multifunctional frequency filter with conveyors VG-CCII and VCG-CCII guarantee the possibility of controlling the quality factor Q0 and the characteristic frequency f0 independently of the each other. In last part, from 2nd to 5th order low-pass filters by the method using synthetic high-order elements are designed. The behaviour of the selected filters has been verified by simulations in the PSpice program for all of the mentioned methods separately.

Control of Music Equipment with Non-Electric Sensors Using MIDI Protocol
Vlach, Miloš ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this Master’s thesis is to create a device that is able to control MIDI musical electronics, via use of non-electrical sensors as un-usual control elements and module Arduino Diecimila used as the processing element. This thesis is dealing with this given problem from a complex point of view, from design to actual realisation of the device. In the process of the thesis the solution for an optical proximity sensor and for resistance weight sensor is delivered. For both of them the adjustments circuitry is designed including interfaces, and further on it is constructed on PCB board. Then, control software, which processes the input sensor signal into a stream of MIDI data, which is sent to the computer as a slave device, is developed. The runtime of the program and the behaviour of MIDI elements can be controlled with a sub-protocol based on MIDI SysEx messages.

Wireless transmission interference modeling (AWGN, Rayleigh, Rice fading channels)
Hloušek, Tomáš ; Gleissner, Filip (referee) ; Mikulka, Jan (advisor)
This thesis describes and models wirelesss transmission intereferences in real communication channels. A signal received on a fading channel is subjected to a multiplicative distortion and to the usual additive noise. Real channel adds to the signal noise and fadings. Gaussian noise is a result of channel awgn. Fadings is implicated by multipath propagation of signal in Rayleigh and Rician channels. Main goal of this project is to program BERsolve, which is created in tool GUIDE in Matlab. User program BERsolve makes it possible to analyse bit error rate and symbol error rate for some types of channel models, which are defined by standard COST207. BERsolve offers some other functions i.e. display time behaviour, constellation diagram and spectrum. This program provides us with an overview representation of problem by multipath interferences in communication channels.

Introduction to the Experiential Education and Illustration of Experiential Programme
Schulz, Jakub ; Ortová, Marie (advisor) ; Martinek, Michael (referee)
My diploma paper introduce the theme "Experimental education", this specific educational style uses for its work authentic elements. It means that the educator tries to ignite the changes in behaviour of the individual. The aims of this kind of education are social, moral and personality related changes. The educator working with this method shows to all participants different situations and also provides an offer of several applicable solutions. All procedure is based on activities such as games which should serve as a mirror of real processes as a later resource of authentic experience. This experience is supported by feedback method so that it can be used in real life. Experimental education uses further specific methods of work concerning the preparation of the course for clients. First is dramaturgy - this method works especially well with games. Secondly, motivation is presented as a way to initiate all participants of such a course for the experimental work. Thirdly, all participants are protected against injuries and wounds except for the acceptable risk contained by the re - educational task. In the second part of my paper, I introduce the experiential programme "My future" where I try to analyse the preparation itself and the duration of the experiment. However, the main goal is to reach the...
